Crime Scene Finale: Murder of an actress

I bring you the season finale of murder mystery role playing game, JTBC's Crime Scene (크라임씬).

In this show the exceptional cast is brought to a crime scene and they take roles as suspects and use their investigative and deductive skills in various ways (observing the crime scene, group talks, hot seat, one-on-one interrogations) to catch the criminal amongst themselves.
After their investigations, the cast vote for who they suspect is the killer. If the majority of the cast is right, they get the gold prizes but if they're wrong and the killer got away with the crime, the murderer will collect all the gold.
As this is the finale, all the players are putting the gold they've earned during the season on the line and the staff will exchange the gold for cash for the winner(s) in the end.

The guest for the season finale (episode 10) is CNBLUE's Min-Hyuk who tries to take revenge for episode six, where he joined the ranks of the deduction idiots after boasting about his deduction/observation skills...
OP thinks they should have brought back Henry if they were going to invite a guest again~

The cast received the roles a week before the filming, so they have all had time to prepare.
Also the detective who guested in episodes 5&6 joins the cast on the set to help them (let's hope NS Yoon-G doesn't cry this time... ^___^).

A famous actress is murdered in a mysterious and gruesome way in the midst of filming a horror movie.

What are your thoughts on this show? We had some changes during the season, but the cast got better and better and the show is very enjoyable.
I think it's been a breath of fresh air in terms of k-variety and am eagerly anticipating season two (it's not announced yet, but it's very likely there will be one).

this was a creepy yet great final episode. and i actually got it right :) ugh i'm so sad it's the last one....i hope there's a second season.

This episode gave me a headache, i could not choose one of theme during the final voting therefore i'm not participating in the poll, they were all suspicious.

Im keeping my hopes up for a second season since Kang Young Seok mention that he will not be appearing in season two if his murderer guess was wrong.


This episode got me curious about the real actress murder case so i googled it and oh my god her death was brutal.

this case was confusing as well. I gave up in the end and didn't choose. Like the previous episodes, it finally came down to that one crucial clue. Either the text or the glove covering. The first 3 cases or so, I can deduct using motives, weapons, and time of death. These last several cases, all the possible weapons or time of death are confusing. And the one with the least motive turn out to be the murderer.

I agree. MIdway through watching the series, I'd finally shifted from getting confused by the suspects' actions (I often got swayed by everyone's words, haha) to just going through everything by logic (picking apart motives, weapons, etc.), but for some of the last few eps, I felt like the actual murderer didn't have a strong enough motive (or their motive was only revealed last minute) and was flying under the radar.

I agree with everyone else. I just couldn't narrow it down to one person. I had my suspicions but I couldn't figure out the why. I really do hope there is a season 2. I look forward to seeing it soon. This season was so much fun.

I'd like to thank OP for making all these posts. I've never heard of this show before until I saw posts on Omona, and finally, I got curious enough to try an episode. I was hooked. ;A; Although I had a lot of wrong deductions, it was fun just watching everything and being a part of the process. I just wish I'd found it sooner so that I could have joined these posts.

I hope there's a Season 2.

Also I felt like Ji Yoon had a legitimate reason to be confused. :P

I scrolled past the comments really quickly in case there were any spoilers haha.

Came in to say that I really enjoyed TvN's The Genius so I was excited when I discovered this (quite late into the game, actually). I watched the first episode but didn't really enjoy the format and thought the editing didn't make it exciting enough. I stopped there, even if I wanted to know who was the killer for the first case.

The show changes from a 1-case-2-episodes format to a 1-case-1-ep format, and does become a lot tighter. I think it is worth watching and the different getups that the cast gets put into is interesting. I like Episode 8 for the character dynamics. :)

Personally, I still like The Genius better because I think it keeps the contestants on their toes. Jinho described 'Crime Scene' as more like 'The Mafia' game rather than a real detective game; I agree with him.

Ahh, I miss the earlier episodes tbh. The later episodes (from around ep 8 onwards) got too confusing, and like some users mentioned above, it mostly came down to one or two crucial clues. I only guessed that Hyunmoo was the murderer when they found the texts, and if it weren't for them, I'd have pinned Jiyoon as the criminal since she had the most motive to kill Hyojin. Also, yay to Minhyuk and the detective guessing correctly, but I'm a little sour that Kang chose correctly too, since if he didn't, there'd be a valid reason for him not to be part of season 2 :P There'll probably be a second season, since the cast mentioned it a lot and someone even referred to the current season as season one :) Definitely looking forward to it!

Yay, I got it right! \o/ This season was so great, I loved it :) Thanks OP for making these posts!
Also the crew did a great job on making everything so perfect and make sure it all fits together. Even down to what the cast themselves were wearing etc. I'm not surprised that it's only 10 eps long because it must have cost a lot of money.
