KBS Bans All H.O.T Songs Due to Tony’s Gambling Issue

With former H.O.T member Tony’s gambling issues, KBS decided to ban all H.O.T songs from playing on its station for the time being.

On February 14, KBS announced that Tony has been banned from appearing on KBS programs due to his involvement in a recent gambling issue, where he illegally bet 400 million won on English Professional Soccer Games.

With this new ban, any video or voice files of the singer will not be played on the station, which includes all H.O.T songs since the group debuted in 1996.

“It’s not just H.O.T, but also the songs of Tak Jae Hoon and Roora, which Ko Young Wook was part of,” explained KBS.

KBS added that after the court verdict on the gambling case, the station maybe reconsider its decision.

American Billboard Says “2NE1’s Chance of Entering Billboard Chart is Getting High”

American Billboard mentioned the chance of 2NE1’s entry into Billboard chart, in its special feature about 2NE1 who will come back with a regular album soon, four years after the release of their first album in 2010.

On the 13 this month, YG Entertainment’s head producer Yang Hyun Suk announced the release of 2NE1’s second regular album by posting the first FROM YG message in a year on YG’s official blog (www.yg-life.com). The news has been welcomed by 2NE1 fans in and out the country and now, Billboard has expressed its interest in the new album of 2NE1, which is attracting keen attention from music fans.

SNSD Music Video File for ′Mr.Mr′ Becomes Partially Damaged

Right ahead of its comeback, Girls′ Generation revealed that there was a problem with the file for its upcoming music video.

On February 14, SM Entertainment talked with Newsen saying, "SNSD′s new song music video data has been partially damaged. We′re working hard to fix it now."

On this day, it was revealed that the music video file of SNSD′s upcoming song, Mr.Mr. became damaged. With the accident happening just a week before the comeback, this may become a problem for SNSD′s comeback schedules.

"We currently discussing the comeback and activities," said SM Entertainment. "Depending on the situation, we′ll make a decision."

Meanwhile, SNSD is gaining much attention with the release of its teaser video and member photos.

Nine months after their first (and so far only) overseas event, they finally talked about their Singapore performance ;_; Juhyun/Boa said that although not everyone there was a fan of Spica, they still enjoyed their music and so they enjoyed performing. Because they had to do everything (introducing the songs, audience banter etc) by themselves on stage, it really felt like a solo showcase. Juhyun said that it was the first time since their debut that they felt like they were really singing, so they enjoyed performing and would love to go back again.

Got7’s JB Had to Record a Song 100 Times Because JYP Didn’t Feel the ‘Swagger’

Got7’s JB revealed an incident with Park Jin Young while he recorded a song.

When Got7 attended February 14’s broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s Gayo Plaza, JB revealed an interesting story regarding JYP’s CEO Park Jin Young.

“My part in a song had ‘swagger’ in the lyrics, but he made me record the part over 100 times, because he said he didn′t ‘feel’ the swagger,” revealed JB.

Then he made everyone laugh by saying, “It was a high pitched part too…”

The Got7 member also revealed during the show, that they often have pillow fights, and the fights sometime become fierce when someone hits too hard with a pillow.

Kim Jae-wook quits Age of Feeling on heels of writer change

I have read this news a dozen times and I still don’t quite understand: Kim Jae-wook is suddenly quitting Age of Feeling, without much warning and for reasons that are couched in vague terms by producers. What we know for certain is that earlier this week, the production decided to replace the head writer, which means the first head writer left the show and a brand-new writer was brought onboard. Presumably the three other rookies on the team remained.

Girls' Day Minah: "Female President's #1 win was buried by a plane crash accident"

So... Apparently Minah made some comments about how the first win Girl's Day had for "Female President" was "buried" because of the Asiana Airlines crash back in 2013: "On the day we won our first public broadcast #1 on a music program, there was a plane crash accident. The music program's broadcast was canceled so our #1 wasn't that known. That's why I worked harder than ever to win #1 next time again."

What do you guys think? I've side-eyed Minah ever since that incident where she made some inane comments about Miss A's Min (basically saying that she could whup Min's butt in kkab any day - and then Min flattened her in a kkab battle), but I think this time it's just a stupid mistake.
