Hello, everyone who loves Cyworld Music, this is Jaejoong. I’ve come to greet you all with my solo mini album. I participated heavily in writing the lyrics for this album and.. I tried to express the emotions I feel at every moment in my songs. My album is one that I have a lot of affection for because I wrote two of the songs.

This is your first musical activity in a while, how do you feel, are you nervous? (Question by Shin * Young)
Yes, since JYJ’s Korean album release and world tour, I’ve focused on my acting through dramas and movies, so this album’s release is.. um.. yes.. I am nervous but.. it’s not a bad feeling, it’s more like an excited anticipation. I’m really glad to be greeting you all with music for the first time in a while. This is my first solo album since making my debut, and I filled it with music that I aim to pursue. I think that’s why it feels more special to me.

K.Will and ELECTROBOYZ, ChaKun is releasing the duet song "Even if you play".

'Even if you play' is co-produced by Brave Brothers and Park Hyun Joong and was recorded in the Brave sound studio. It is a medium tempo breakup song that has hip-hop rhythm to it.

It is about a man who broke up with his girlfriend and even if though he goes out and play all night he cannot forget about his girlfriend. The sad lyrics of the song allow the listeners to emphasize with him. It is also very impressive how they used DJ DOC's 'Sorrow' lyrics, "The cd-video we listened to together" in their song.

For those of you eager to see CNBLUE, you may have a chance to see them perform live for it’s been announced the group will become the first Korean band to go on a world tour!

FNC Entertainment revealed, “CNBLUE is currently planning their 2013 world tour. They won’t be going to just Asian countries such as China, Singapore, and Hong Kong, but also Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.”

According to the label, CNBLUE has already confirmed performances in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and China’s Beijing and Shanghai so far. They are also aiming for the main cities in other parts around the world like the U.S. and Europe, and are talking over scheduling with the on-site promoters. Concert producers in Australia and South America are also in talks.

The label added, “This result was not brought from effort of a short duration. It’s a result of having held live performances in USA and in Europe, and being recognized for their talent.”

The world tour will start off in Seoul in May.

MFBTY’s “Sweet Dream” ranks #1 on music charts

Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, and Bizzy came together to form project group MFBTY and their song “Sweet Dream” ranked #1 on the music charts.

The song was released on the 21st, and ranked #1 on Naver Music, Bugs, and Soribada. It has additionally ranked high on the other music charts as well.

Another track, “BizzyTigerYoonmirae(MFBTY)” has a raw hip hop beat and features the members’ fantastic rapping to satisfy fans of hip hop. While on the other hand, their title song “Sweet Dream” combined many genres such as soul, progressive, and electronic, perfectly showing off their own progressive music talents.

Fans commented, “This is fantastic music from a fantastic combination“, “They’re the Avengers of hip hop“, and “I can’t believe they’re performing in France. I hope they perform well all over the world.”

The music video for “Sweet Dream” is also gaining attention because it looks like he could be from a movie, and is a hot issue not only in Korea but all over the world. Jaejoong‘s music video for “Mine” ranked #1 in China.

The music video that was released on the 17th ranked #1 on Yinyuetai‘s ‘Korea V-Chart’. The V-chart reflects votes from the fans themselves, and is a chart that is a good gauge to measure an artist’s popularity in China. Jaejoong’s video for “Mine” ranked #1 in 5 days, far above the #3 video of Super Junior-M‘s “Break Down” and Super Junior K.R.Y‘s “Promise You“.

YinYueTai is China’s version of YouTube and Jaejoong’s video for “Mine” has already garnered over 4.6 million views.

A Chinese media representative said, “Jaejoong’s album will receive a lot of love in China. It’s a new album that’s different from the standard idol dance music. The high-quality music video with the mysterious character has charmed the viewers.”

His mini album ‘I‘ has ranked #1 on Hanteo‘s real-time, daily, and weekly charts as well.

TVXQ’s Changmin receives best rookie award from the Japanese Academy Awards

TVXQ‘s Changmin received the best rookie award from the ‘36th Japanese Academy Awards‘.

Changmin had been cast in the movie ‘Fly With the Gold‘, where he acted out the role of Momo, a bomb specialist from North Korea. Even though he had to act in Japanese, he was able to fully master the distinct dialect for his character and had even been able to fully act out Momo’s pain. His superb acting from the movie allowed him to receive the rookie award.

Changmin began his acting career through ‘Paradise Ranch‘ in 2011, and then moved onto ‘Athena‘ and ‘Fly With the Gold’. He will be starting off 2013 in the variety show, ‘Moonlight Prince‘ which aired its first episode on the 22nd.

4minute sub-unit 2YOON recently posed for ‘CeCi‘ magazine’s February issue following their highly anticipated debut.

Upcoming idol band 'Iconize' To Hold A Showcase Prior To Debut

Rookie band Iconize, who has already revealed each of the members through photos, will be holding their first showcase in the form of a concert prior to their upcoming debut this February!

Iconize will meet their growing fan base at their concert early next month, but the place and date have yet to be determined. It has been revealed that the group is currently on the lookout for a concert venue with a 1,000 seat capacity as they are said to have drawn a crowd of a 1,000 when they meant to perform for 200 people at Hongdae’s V-Hall back in June.

Ahead of their debut, Iconize has already acquainted themselves with teenage fans by performing at high schools across six cities around Seoul and Gyeonggido. The pre-released album jacket photo of the five-member group also increased the hype for their debut.

Nine Muses became the first girl group to hold a comeback showcase at a military base just recently, visiting with soldiers and performing their upcoming single “Dolls” for the first time on the 22nd.

The girls dressed in military uniforms and visited parts of the base where soldiers are actually stationed and talked with them before going onto hold their showcase in front of cheering soldiers.

In addition to performances, the girls also engaged in an interview, sharing their thoughts about their comeback as well as comparisons to other girl groups.

Two Months prepares for comeback under Yoon Jong Shin’s guidance

Singer-songwriter and CEO of Mystic89, Yoon Jong Shin recently playfully warned his agency artist Two Months of the hard training that’s to come.

On January 20th, Yoon Jong Shin captured the attention of fans and followers by mentioning the group’s comeback. He tweeted, “The songs that will be given to Two Months are almost complete.. Thanks.. Everyone.. Training & recording will now begin soon.. Guys, your teacher will become a bit scary now.”

Two Months, comprised of Kim Yerim and Do Dae Yoon, signed on with Yoon Jong Shin’s self-established agency back in September 2012.

The duo rose to fame after participating as a contestant on ‘Superstar K3′. With Kim Yerim’s unique vocals and Do Dae Yoon’s smooth harmony, the two finished third behind Busker Busker and Ulala Session on the audition program.

“Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert” in Manila: A Night of Firsts and Promises

Some of K-Pop’s finest graced the Manila concert scene for a milestone “Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert,” bringing with it a series of firsts and promises. Not counting U-KISS, the concert was the first time for all the performers of the evening, namely Girls’ Generation, INFINITE, EXO, Tasty and Tahiti to meet their fans in the Philippines. Latest hits, new songs, new promotions and covers paraded in the evening, with all the groups expressing a hope to return to do more shows and meet more of their Filipino fans.

“Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert” marked the first overseas live performance of Girls’ Generation’s latest hits, their fourth full Korean album’s “Dancing Queen” and title track, “I Got a Boy.” As the most senior group present, the Girls served as finale act. Along with their current hits, Girls’ Generation also performed “Genie,” “The Boys,” “Hoot” and “Gee.”

Rainbow, who is said to be gearing up for a comeback mid-February, has just released a ‘comeback surprise teaser’ for their fans who have been eagerly anticipating their return!

As mentioned previously, the 7-member girl group will be releasing an album one year and 7 months since ‘Sweet Dream‘ in June of 2011. According t DSP Media, they’ve concluded recording, but they are still considering their concept. The agency also added that “The music follows the healthy, bright image that Rainbow is known for.”
