TVXQ’s Changmin receives best rookie award from the Japanese Academy Awards

TVXQ‘s Changmin received the best rookie award from the ‘36th Japanese Academy Awards‘.

Changmin had been cast in the movie ‘Fly With the Gold‘, where he acted out the role of Momo, a bomb specialist from North Korea. Even though he had to act in Japanese, he was able to fully master the distinct dialect for his character and had even been able to fully act out Momo’s pain. His superb acting from the movie allowed him to receive the rookie award.

Changmin began his acting career through ‘Paradise Ranch‘ in 2011, and then moved onto ‘Athena‘ and ‘Fly With the Gold’. He will be starting off 2013 in the variety show, ‘Moonlight Prince‘ which aired its first episode on the 22nd.

He was terrible. Not as bad as Yunho and the drama sucked so that couldn't have helped. I didn't watch Athena so I don't know but I hope this means he improved :)

He said he had a really hard time of it on DD, and that the producer was always getting on him for not fully comprehending the language and that he even cried alone after some shoots. He didn't say if he refocused that into his character, but I think he did.

Out of TVXQ, I really prefer Changmin's because lolol, Yunho. Though I would like to know who else was in the running for this award because even though he's one of my biases, I like to see how the acting of everyone else was compared to his.

Matsuzaka is great and Takei is ok i think from what i saw in Kenshin but she is really popular..

it's a japanese movie and it was screened in cinemas only in Japan for now.

And in Japan punishment for infringing copyright laws is very strict, so I assume people don't take camrips there and just wait for release.
