Natthew, Thai singer and winner of ‘Academy Fantasia‘, a Thai audition show, has revealed his Korean debut single, “She’s Bad“.

Natthew already has many accomplishments under his belt in Thailand and hopes to continue his streak in Korea as he tries out the K-Pop market in his quest to become a global artist.

“She’s Bad” features B2ST‘s Junhyung, who has worked on the rap for the song, and the logo design was done by Rainbow‘s Jaekyung.

He’ll be holding his debut stage on ‘M! Countdown‘.

Girl group SECRET will be concluding the year by releasing a brand new single early in December.

After successfully wrapping up their promotions for “Poison” on October 20th, the girls took a short break and are now preparing to return with a new image.

It’s unclear what concept they will undertake this time around, but it’s been revealed that the group has worked with a new partner for the single, further heightening the anticipation for their comeback.

The highly-anticipated second season for SBS‘s audition program, ‘K-Pop Star 2‘, has released a brand-new preview for its upcoming premiere!

Hype has been steadily building for months over the sequel to last year’s wildly successful audition show, which unearthed new stars such as Lee Hi, Baek Ah Yeon, and 15&‘s Park Ji Min. The new teaser shows us the return of the three judges from last season – SM Entertainment‘s BoA, YG Entertainment‘s Yang Hyun Suk, and JYP Entertainment‘s J.Y. Park.

‘K-Pop Star 2′ will be replacing ‘Laws of the Jungle 2‘, which recently ended its run. As part of SBS’s ‘Good Sunday’ evening variety lineup, it will be the newest sister program to ‘Running Man‘.

Musical actor Min Young Ki revealed he goes to the same graduate school with JYJ‘s Junsu and Super Junior‘s Sungmin.

On the 13th, the actor tweeted a selca of himself with Junsu, writing, “Proving our relationship!!! What kind of relationship do you think we have???". A few minutes after the tweet, he tweeted again, this time attaching a group photo that included Sungmin as well. He wrote, “The answer is graduate school ^^We go to the same graduate school!!!“.

He then tweeted, “Junsu’s finger!!! He was making a peace sign, he wasn’t giving anyone the middle finger“, explaining his first photo with Junsu where the cropping of the photo made Junsu’s peace sign look offensive. He uploaded another photo, cropping Junsu’s hand gesture out completely.

MBLAQ‘s G.O decided to surprise sunbae singer and musical actress, Lisa, with a cake recently!

Lisa, who recently revealed her single “Woman“, wrote on her twitter, “Currently in Osaka for ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata‘ performance. G.O came to congratulate me on my new release by giving me yummy cake. So touched. Thank you. G.O.”

The sunbae and hoobae also posed for a commemorative snapshot as they stood side by side with G.O holding up the cake he brought her, and drew praises from fans on his thoughtful gesture.

SPICA reveals additional teaser photos for ‘Lonely’ comeback

After revealing simple yet alluring teaser photos and the jacket photo for their second mini album ‘Lonely‘, SPICA has released an additional set of teaser photos!

B2M Entertainment updated with a new set of pictures along with the words, “2012.11.21 Coming SOOOOON~~”, exciting fans even more.

As previously mentioned, the group’s new song is said to have been produced by hit producing team Sweetune, and the members have also included their own works as well in the album.

Not much else is known about their upcoming title track “Lonely”, except that it is a “retro-feeling sound with a sophisticated beat”.

Stay tuned for the video teaser which will be revealed tomorrow and the full release on November 21st!

SM Entertainment’s Third Quarter results fall short of analyst expectations

SM Entertainment‘s third quarter results fell short of expectations.

SM Entertainment reported their quarterly report to the Financial Supervisory Service at 2:12 PM KST on the 14th. According to their report, SM Entertainment’s third quarter profit was 11.7 billion KRW (approximately $10.7 million USD). This is a 70% increase compared to the same period last year, but the result was only half of analyst expectations of 20 billion – 23 billion KRW (approximately $18.4 million – $21.1 million USD).

As a result, SM Entertainment stocks fell nearly 15%, and hit its low at 2:25 PM. Analysts at the stock exchange fell into a state of confusion. One analyst said, “I haven’t even seen the report yet, but I don’t even have time to think because people keep calling non-stop. We currently don’t know why this happened.”

SM Entertainment explained that the shortcoming was due to the high production costs for the TVXQ and Super Junior arena tours. However, experts have judged that the reasoning was flawed. One analyst said, “There could be some issues internally if we have this much of a difference.” The arena tour was actually one of SM Entertainment’s largest favorable points. Analysts had predicted that the 3rd quarter earnings would see an explosive increase mainly because of the arena tours as their Japanese tours held earlier in the year brought in an audience of nearly 1,000,000 people.

The resulting shock caused SM Entertainment stocks to drop 14.88% to 58,900 KRW (approximately $54 USD) per share. Not only so, but the drop affected other entertainment companies as well. YG Entertainment dropped 13.86% to a stock price of 64,000 KRW (approximately $59 USD) per share, and other entertainment labels dropped 4 to 8% as well.

B.A.P’s Zelo receives attention for his impressive growth spurt

B.A.P‘s Zelo is being called the group’s “giant baby” with his tall height of 184 cm (~6 ft.).

Zelo shared on his Twitter on the 13th, “I measured my height. 184…hehe,” showing off his impressive growth spurt. Fellow member Youngjae then tweeted back, “Don’t do this… ㅠ You have to think of your hyungs too.”

17-year-old (Korean age) Zelo’s height is stated on his profile as 182 cm, but in a recent interview held in Japan, Zelo revealed his height at the time was 183 cm. He said, “I want to stop growing. But the hospital told me that my growth spurt is still going on.”

Fans commented, “184 cm is so tall compared to me”, “He’s cute and tall”, and “I still like you Youngjae”.

In related news, Zelo made headlines for making his fans swoon with his cute charms at the ‘Hope Concert for Multicultural Families’.

On the afternoon of Aug. 15, Korean rapper PSY and the overseas business manager from his record label, YG Entertainment, arrived in Los Angeles after a 13-hour flight from Seoul. At LAX, they were greeted by a smattering of fans and YG's American rep, who ushered them into a waiting car. PSY was going to Hollywood.

As his ride rolled through L.A. traffic, PSY, aka Park Jae-sang, cheerfully reflected on his whirlwind summer. It had been a month to the day since the video for "Gangnam Style," the first single off his sixth album, "PSY 6 (Six Rules), Part 1," was uploaded to YouTube. A satirical ode to his Seoul neighborhood, "Gangnam Style" had all the trademarks of a PSY anthem: an aggressive rap with a catchy hook, coupled with a whimsical dance step and a comedic, over-the-top video. Like much of his previous work, "Gangnam Style" was very much a PSY DIY: He wrote and co-produced the song and also co-directed the video. In Korea, where PSY has topped multiple domestic music charts a half-dozen times during his 12-year career, the record was an instant hit.

SNSD to Release ’2011 Girls’ Generation Tour DVD’

Nine months after Girls’ Generation’s second tour through Asia ended in Bangkok, Thailand, SM Entertainment will now be releasing the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour DVD”, featuring footage from the concert tour’s start in Seoul, South Korea on July 23rd and July 24th.

The DVD hits shelves on November 30th and will cost 33,000 won. It will consist of two discs showing nearly all of the performances during the concert, a bonus film of the making of the concert, performances from Japan, personal interviews with the members of Girls’ Generation, and waiting room and rehearsal footage. A photobook and a first press limited edition poster will also be included with the DVD. (OP note: does not include Yoona's 4 Minutes and Seohyun's Stuff Like That There)

2NE1 cancels ‘New Evolution’ concerts in Malaysia and Indonesia

2NE1 have canceled their ‘New Evolution‘ global tour stops in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The announcement on 2NE1′s official Facebook states: “BLACKJACK in Malaysia & Indonesia, Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that the 2NE1 shows originally scheduled for Malaysia & Indonesia had to be cancelled [sic]. We sincerely apologize to all our fans in Malaysia & Indonesia and hope that we will be able to play there in the near future. The remaining shows on the tour have not been affected and we thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support.”

Concert organizer Running Into the Sun has also stated that the concert in Malaysia was canceled due to “unresolved technical issues while producing the show.” The company further stated that they did not want to compromise the production value of the concert or safety of concertgoers.

With only a couple more weeks until he returns from his mandatory military duty, Hyun Bin took to the stage at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, to host the 23rd Marine Corps Music Concert on November 14.

During the event, he was asked how he felt about his fast approaching discharge. Hyun Bin answered, “I still have about 20 days. I’ll be discharged this December, but it still feels like a long time away.” Co-host Park Eun Ji continued, “It’s fall, and there are a lot of fallen leaves. Be careful,” and Hyun Bin teasingly replied, “A new batch of soldiers came in today, and they are probably busy raking those leaves.”

The ladies of After School subunit Orange Caramel are set to release their upcoming Japanese single “Lipstick / Lamu no Love Song” on December 12th. Ahead of this, their official Japanese website has been updated with a teaser video for the upcoming single.

Orange Caramel’s upcoming release is a double A-side single. “Lipstick” is the Japanese version of the ladies’ latest hit track in South Korea, while, “Lamu no Love Song” is a cover of the opening theme for the popular anime series ‘Urusei Yatsura‘.

A fan account of MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon and his manners has been making headlines lately.

The following message was posted to an online community site on the 15th: “I was taking an IQ and mental test on the computer, and I noticed a female employee taking pictures with a male celebrity.”

Lee Joon must have made a great first impression as the poster went on, “I don’t know much else, but he seemed really nice. He signed autographs, took pictures, and even went on phone calls. He granted every favor.”

It seems the employees at the center wanted to keep him there as long as possible as well. “Lee Joon’s academic qualifications exam took 5 minutes. After that, 10 people took the same test in a total of 5 minutes. [The female employee wanted him there].”
