2NE1 cancels ‘New Evolution’ concerts in Malaysia and Indonesia

2NE1 have canceled their ‘New Evolution‘ global tour stops in Malaysia and Indonesia.

The announcement on 2NE1′s official Facebook states: “BLACKJACK in Malaysia & Indonesia, Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that the 2NE1 shows originally scheduled for Malaysia & Indonesia had to be cancelled [sic]. We sincerely apologize to all our fans in Malaysia & Indonesia and hope that we will be able to play there in the near future. The remaining shows on the tour have not been affected and we thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support.”

Concert organizer Running Into the Sun has also stated that the concert in Malaysia was canceled due to “unresolved technical issues while producing the show.” The company further stated that they did not want to compromise the production value of the concert or safety of concertgoers.

This tour is such a bust. YG really should have said no for Live Nation and just gone forward with 2NE1's promos in Korea. They would have so many more new fans if they had just gone with their original plan of releasing bunch of new singles.
