Ikr, leader gyu's voice is lovely. Don't understand why people dislike his voice so much, but different taste equals to different opinions I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
imo, high notes are pretty hard to achieve and get right (especially for a guy) but i thought he did a decent job lol. once again, each to their own ;P
THIS MAN IS BEAUTIFUL !! im dying right now. guys playing the piano is one of the most attractive things to me.the song sounds so pretty. and his haaaaair!!! ohmagawd he's perfect <3
i really don't understand how people hate on his voice so much. it's absolutely gorgeous to me. but i do tend to like higher voices better.
Preferences aside, his technique really isn't that great. He has breathing issues when he sings that affect his tone and make his voice sound whiny and thin. I admit, I'm not a fan of his timbre or range, but the main reason why I personally don't care for his voice is because of his questionable technique.
see, im someone who will admit i know nothing about music. i just like what sounds pretty to me. and i kind of really like high-pitched and whiny voices over deep ones like TOP and such that girls wet their panties over... so i could care less about his technique, because his voice sounds beautiful to my ears.
That's when it just comes down to personal preference, I think. I have a musical background, so even when I like someone's voice, I can't help but look at from a more technical point of view. For instance, there are plenty of people in K-pop whose voices I absolutely love the tone of but who aren't strong singers, and I feel like I should acknowledge and accept that aspect of their vocals too.
His hands look so stiff lolol They shouldn't have made him play if he couldn't, tbh - it was distracting and the song was actually v pretty. :( (And if he could produce nice tone with that technique it must have been a very good grand xDD)
I think that he's one of those kids who know how to use a piano but aren't really good at it or have no technique, like my self-taught friend :)) But I appreciate the effort -- it still looks and sounds good :D
