On January 3rd, she wrote, “I feel like I’m going to explode on the inside. But what I hate more than that is the heavy, depressed feeling I get whenever I feel that way. MANILA, Philippines – Super Junior members Siwon, Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk departed from Manila for Seoul, South Korea last night after shooting a commercial for a fried chicken restaurant in the country.

The trio arrived in the country on Sunday night and stayed here for just 24 hours.

Numerous technical failures during the 2011 MBC Korean Music Festival have the audience visibly upset.
Broadcast live on the 31st of December, the 2011 MBC Korean Music Festival faced various issues such as a mix-up in the broadcast line up and sound problems, and the unrest resulting from their troubles were clearly visible in the show.

First, during U-Kiss’s stage, part of the lyrics could not be heard when they performed “0330,” confusing the audience. The timing of the song was wrong, and the microphones failed as the lyrics remained inaudible.

Following that, B1A4 appeared and while performing “Beautiful Target” and during the short period before they proceeded to sing “O.K.,” the camera panned to MCs Leeteuk and Kang Sora, and did not show the B1A4 stage even though they had started singing. Furthermore, sound from the MCs’ microphones were not recorded, and despite the MCs introducing the artists, A Pink and Teen Top’s introductions were missed out.

In the second half of the show, MBLAQ performed “Mona Lisa” but the music and lyrics were not in sync, which shocked the audience. The broadcast continued in this manner, which left the audience wondering what happened, and many complaints about the show could be heard.

Singer Shin Hyesung's global fans have supported Shin Hyesung for 5 years with Dreame rice wreaths.

His global fans sent in 1.06 tons of Dreame rice wreaths to Shin Hyesung's concert '2011~2012 THE YEAR'S JOURNEY' held at the Yonsei University Main Auditorium on December 30th and 31st, showing off for 5 years an unending love and loyalty.

His global fans have previously sent in a total of 2.02 tons of Dreame rice wreaths for four times this year: at the Seoul Chungmu Art Hall concert held in June, the Busan KBS concert held in July, the Seoul Kyunghee University concert and the most recent fourth concert.

Shin Hyesung's global fandom was the first fandom ever to send Dreame rice wreaths, which happened at Shin Hyesung's first solo concert in August 2007, and after becoming the first fandom to start the Dreame rice wreath culture, they've continued to donate Dreame rice wreaths for 5 years running to support the concert. In December 2010, they received a thank you letter from the governor of Ongjin-gun for donating 500kgs of rice to the Yeonpyeong Island residents.

Fans of Shinhwa members Kim Dongwan, Eric, and Andy have also supported their stars with Dreame rice wreaths at musicals and production press conferences, and the 2.02 tons of rice wreaths that have arrived at the Shin Hyesung concert will be donated for those in need chosen by Shin Hyesung's agency, such as underfed children.

On the 29th of last month, Shin Hyesung also showed off his friendship with the Shinhwa members by revealing a photo of autographed copies of his special album 'embrace' with nicknames that described the Shinhwa members' characteristics well.

One Way sub-unit D2O (DETOUR) releases "Woo Woo Woo" MV

One Way's Peter and Youngsky have teamed up to form the first sub-unit called D2O, pronounced Detour. They released their first single together titled "Amanda" back in October 2011, and the duo are back with yet another single titled "Woo Woo Woo."

On January 3rd, D2O released the official music video for "Woo Woo Woo" via One Way's YouTube account (http://youtube.com/user/onewayonesound). The music video is completely produced in black and white, and features boxes of scenes put together to present a creative and artistic video.

D2O leaves a message and says, "Thanks for being patient but it's finally here!!! It's a fine start to the new year with the boys of D2O (Detour) and since we love our followers and our subscribers we are proud to present you our official music video for 'Woo Woo Woo (우~우~우~) .' 2NE1 met with a terminal cancer patient in New York

It’s just been revealed that 2NE1 met with a terminal cancer patient during their stay in New York for their MTV Iggy performance.

On January 3rd, YG Entertainment revealed, “After their performance in Times Square on December 13th, 2NE1 visited a fan at a hospice ward to lend him their support. The patient has been a fan of 2NE1′s ever since their debut and watched their concert through tickets bought by the hospital. He’s been enduring his intense treatments with the hope of seeing 2NE1.”

The hospital suggested the meeting with 2NE1 and the girls readily agreed. 2NE1 was reported to have been very touched upon hearing that he was their fan and thanked him for making the long trip to see them performance.

The meeting was also covered in a local newspaper with the title, “Patient Gets Wish To See Favorite Band”.

Earlier today, photos titled “Male Idol’s Overall Appearance” have surfaced various online communities, and they have created quite a buzz among Korean netizens.  An enthusiastic fan cleverly overlapped the images of the members in each boy band to create one representative photo for each group. A total of ten photos – representing Super Junior, JYJ, Big Bang, 2PM, SHINee, BEAST, MBLAQ, Infinite, UKISS, and FT Island – have been humoring netizens and fans alike.

While no one specific member comes to mind in most photos, Seungri’s face jumps out in Big Bang’s representation, while Wooyoung and Lee Hong Ki’s features are dominant in 2PM and FT Island’s photos respectively.

Those who’ve seen the photos commented, “JYJ is really handsome,” “This is why they are idols…Even their  appearances blended-in look amazing,” “It must have been labor-intensive photoshopping all thirteen faces for the Super Junior photo.”

The True Kings of Variety Shows Are Coming!

Shinhwa's been talking about their March comeback for almost a year now, and there are now talks of a variety show to accompany the return!

According to industry officials, Shinhwa will be starring in their very own variety show through jTBC sometime around March to coincide with their comeback album release. The program will begin airing after SNSD‘s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys‘, but the title and format have yet to be decided.

Shinhwa has had their entire group guest on variety shows before, but this will be their first time running their own show.

Shinhwa’s representatives stated, “We have received an offer from jTBC but we are actually receiving other offers from the three public networks as well so we’re trying to balance everything out.”

A couple of days ago, Fat Cat released her comeback teaser music video for “Is Being Pretty Everything“.

As of January 3rd, the teaser recorded 150,000 views on Nate and Daum and is the first ranked video in the ‘Best’ category. The 24 second teaser features a close-up of Fat Cat in a fairy tale like setting. Her porcelain white skin and innocent look further add to the fantasy theme of the teaser, leaving a strong impression on the viewer.

‘Dream High 2′ releases new still cut featuring six students

A new still cut featuring the six leading members of KBS’s upcoming drama, ‘Dream High 2‘, has finally been unveiled!

Aside from Jung Jinwoon and Kang Sora, who are seen facing the viewer, the rest have their backs turned towards the audience to raise anticipation for what’s to come.

The ‘Kirin Arts High School’ uniforms have undergone a few changes, like the use of red and checker patterns. Fans already know that Jiyeon and Hyorin are the remaining two girls, but word on who the two boys at the side are has not been revealed.

Producers are purposely keeping their identity a secret to exclusively reveal at the drama’s production conference.

A representative stated, “Actors and idol singers won’t be the only members of the cast, but also rookie actors. They have a surprising amount of energy that we’re sure will bring the same amount of attention Kim Soo Hyun managed to garner.”

‘Dream High’ begins airing on January 30th.

Rainbow's Sub-Unit Members Revealed

After announcing the formation of their new unit trio yesterday, Rainbow‘s ‘Rainbow Pixie‘ has returned with a new teaser image unveiling the three members!

The teaser shows that the trio will be comprised of Seungah, Jisook, and Hyunyoung. Their debut track, “Hoi Hoi“, is scheduled for release on January 12th, and as previously revealed, the girls will take on a cuter image compared to Rainbow’s characteristic sexy look.

The girls are planning to release album jacket pictures and two music video teasers in the coming week before their official debut through ‘Music Core’ on January 14th.

DSP Media stated, “‘Pixie’ will present a cute and fun stage from the members that were usually hard to see regularly on TV.”

KARA recently spoke out on their remarkable willpower. The girls guested at KBS 2FM "Hong Jin Kyung's 2 O'clock" on January 3rd, where they talked about their dieting habits.

Han Seungyeon started off by confessing, "We really love eating." As soon as they were asked if there was ever a time when they couldn't eat even if they wanted to, the girls immediately brought up the topic of revealing clothes.

According to them, while they were promoting their hit song "Mister", which required them to be dressed in crop tops for their performances, they would stay away from even water from the very moment they woke up.

KARA said, "We eat as soon as we're done performing. Once we get off the stage we gulp down water, and eat cake and sushi in the dressing room. We put everything we want in a line and eat it all."

DJ Hong Jinkyung then asked, "Aren't you bothered by the people around?", to which the girls replied, "Well... it's delicious, so we don't care," making everyone burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, leader Gyuri was absent due to her schedule, with the remaining four girls participating in the broadcast.
