MANILA, Philippines – Super Junior members Siwon, Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk departed from Manila for Seoul, South Korea last night after shooting a commercial for a fried chicken restaurant in the country.
The trio arrived in the country on Sunday night and stayed here for just 24 hours.
Filipino fans just couldn’t get enough of the rare treat as they went to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to see them and then followed the boys to their filming locations at Eastwood City in Quezon City, Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City, and Intramuros, Manila.
The boys filmed a commercial for KyoChon, a Korean fried chicken restaurant.
Siwon alerted fans of their first location through a tweet Monday morning.
“Now we are at Orchard Road Metro Manila Quezon City,” he posted.
With this, hundreds of fans trooped to Eastwood to see their favorite Korean idols.
They screamed and packed the filming locations, catching the security manning the areas off guard.
In one location, the filming was canceled due to the crowd.
On Monday afternoon, Siwon thanked Filipino fans for their love.
“Philipines you are amazing. Wonderful!” said Siwon and posted a photo of the fans at the shoot.
Kyuhyun retweeted this and said, “I appreciate ur love from E.L.F of the Philippines.”
There were rumors that the three idols would be staying in the country for four days but fans got the sad news that they left for Korea last night.
“It was really good time with you philipines. Im so proud of you all and very appriciate for your love and passion,” he wrote and posted a photo of himself inside a bus.
He then tweeted that they already arrived in South Korea.
“Just arrived it! thank you Manila again,” he said.
