A granddaughter of the Japanese Emperor, Akihito, danced to the music of Girls’ Generation, one of the most popular K-pop groups. This has caused controversy as some Japanese have recently shown extreme right-wing views toward Hallyu, or Korean wave, in the country.
Gako, 17, gave a performance last fall in her high school, copying the choreography of "Oh!," a hit song of the group’s second album released at the beginning of 2010. One of the local media reported her dancing in a newspaper with a picture, titled “She is a real dancing queen,” which was the first time when the controversy ignited among the netizens there about whether she really danced to the K-pop or not,
Although there have been a lot of arguments among them online, the dispute ended as another local media confirmed that she really did.
“She didn’t have to imitate Korean girl group,” “We can’t accept the Emperor system in the situation like that” and “The imperial family is really connected to Korean as I expected” are a few of comments from the Japanese netizens, expressing anti-Korean sentiment. Some netizens, however, have said that it is good to see she is not really different from normal people.
Korean netizens have also responded to them in various ways. “The granddaughter of the Emperor has made its citizens more upset toward the Korean wave,” “Extreme rightists who are loyal to their Emperor would be very embarrassed,” “How humane the royal offspring is” and “Would it be the same if the song was not K-pop?” are several of comments from them.

It has been revealed that the eight ladies of Leader’S, the girl group that received attention after releasing their ’2018 Pyungchang Olympics’ congratulatory song, are actually one unit of a larger 24-member girl group.
Their agency TGN Entertainment stated, “TGN is the acronym for TaGoNa (meaning ‘gifted at birth’ in Korean), and we have embarked on a project to debut separate units LeadersT, LeadersG, and LeadersN, in that order. The group currently promoting their track “Kiss Me” are members of the LeadersT unit.”
They continued, “We have selected these girls through a survival competition, and the members of the units may interchange, depending on the situation. LeadersG and LeadersT are working hard to make their official debut.”

What your impression about your completion of four weeks of training?
First of all, I'm glad. I feel really good. Honestly, I was worried a lot about having training at KATC because of my injured knee. I'm sure I caught many other recruits' attention, so that I can't be look sick or having an issue while having training. My thoughts have been changed in a positive way after I got to have conversations with recruits. I will be fully responsible for my 2 years of service as a public service worker, and I won't let two years just fly by. I will make those two years of service counted for my life. Lastly, I want to be shown up to my fans as a grown person.

I love the colours in this video and the boys are looking and sounding fantastic, though Jay you're not fooling anybody by pretending you're singing Hyunmin's lines. SMH at the fact that they filmed a cut down version though, and the MV looks like it was filmed in a room with a couple of lights and that's about it.

Coincidental. On his enlistment day today (27th), his students debut.
Hwanhee couldn’t watch MYNAME’s first debut stage, a group he personally trained, and went to the Nonsan training center with heavy steps.
“(Because of shoulder dislocation) he even got 10 shots of injection on his shoulders, but he never showed that he was hurting. He came looking for us almost everyday in the practice room even during late night practices, and guided us.” The MYNAME members expressed their gratefulness towards Hwanhee, who was attached to his pupils till the end and showed passion.
The 5 members Insoo, Gunwoo, Seyong, JunQ and Chaejin take responsibility for the confession caused by their teacher’s enlistment.
After going through about 2 years of deadly training, they finally introduce the members with their ambition of “imprinting our name in the music industry and becoming the best,” on the same day they take their first step with Message on Mnet M!Countdown.

Lee Hyori responded to a netizen’s suggestion for her to marry TV personality Kim Jae Dong.
On October 27th someone had written via their Twitter page, “I don’t know why, but I feel like Lee Hyori and Kim Jae Dong would make a nice couple. They look good together! I personally would like to see the two get married.”
Lee Hyori happened to read the tweet and responded rather quickly. She retweeted the tweet above and added, “Let’s not talk nonsense“, which netizens found hilarious.
Kim Jae Dong and Lee Hyori are actually very close friends. The two have frequently gone hiking together and have become close over the years, enjoying a strictly platonic relationship. Her comment, ‘let’s not talk nonsense‘, was probably Hyori trying to offer comic relief, ending any more absurd and awkward marriage suggestions.
Followers commented, “I laughed out loud when I saw Hyori’s comment“, “Are you not going to protect the rights of Kim Jae Dong?”, “The two will probably live in the mountains if they marry“, and “Do not misunderstand! The two are close friends!”

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun revealed that he was threatened with a knife while he was in Spain.
On October 27th, Kyuhyun tweeted,
“A morning in Spain.. On my way back to the hotel, in a strange place, a young man suddenly began to follow me and start up conversation.. I had a bad feeling about it, then he took out his knife and began to threaten me.. He hectically yelled at me, then gave up and ran away.. To those of you who vacation alone, please be careful ㅜㅜ“
According to SM Entertainment, after completing the ‘SMTOWN Live NYC‘ at Madison Square Garden, Super Junior has been taking a break. Kyuhyun decided to recharge on a solo vacation to Spain, but it seems that he had a dangerous encounter.
A SM Entertainment representative, “He spoke on the phone with his manager before posting. Thankfully, nothing happened and he is safe now.”

in the end the song is nothing like the bit from the teaser, but I am pleasantly surprised nevertheless and their performance at M! Countdown was lovely. I was especially impressed by Gunwoo(?) hitting those high notes near the end.

On Tuesday 25th EunHyuk posted a picture of himself and his mother, father and sister standing on the Charles Bridge in Prague. Many Czech fans were pleased that he chose Prague for his vacation, all the more that he went alone only with his family.
Two of us were so lucky that we got to meet him.( How we had a dinner with Lee HyukJae )
