Super Junior’s Kyuhyun admits to plastic surgery
Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun unintentionally admitted to having undergone double-eyelid plastic surgery.
On the episode of ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star‘ that aired on the 26th, the MCs questioned singer Kim Gun Mo in regards to the rumors of his plastic surgery.
Kim Gun Mo quickly showed the MC’s his eyes, and once they informed him that he would look better without double eyelids, he remarked, “That’s why I didn’t get it done“.
The MCs then turned their attention to Kyuhyun, asking how he acquired such double eyelids. Startled and flustered, Kyuhyun began stuttering and couldn’t speak clearly. Shocked, the MCs demanded to know if he had undergone the knife.
“Both my parents have double eyelids,” he explained. “I was the only one that didn’t,” he continued, admitting to surgery.
Kyuhyun's perfect emulation of Sung Si Kyung on Radio Star
On the episode of ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star‘ that aired on the 26th, soulful singers Sung Si Kyung, Kim Gun Mo, Kim Jo Han, and Seo In Young guest-starred to make the episode a vocalist special.
On the show, they had a corner in which they would grant each guest one wish. When it came to Sung Si Kyung, he turned to MC and Super Junior member Kyuhyun and asked, “Kyuhyun, I hear that you do a pretty good impression of me. Let me hear it.”
Without much hesitation, Kyuhyun recited the classic closing phrase in which Sung Si Kyung ends his radio program with, and performed a perfect rendition of his hit track, ”I Like“.
Sung Si Kyung seemed touched and amazed that his junior was able to perfectly emulate his own voice and remarked, “I can tell he’s studied me for some time. I’m touched that he wanted to become a singer watching me perform.”
But Kyuhyun quickly corrected him stating, “Actually, I wanted to be a singer after seeing senior Cho Sung Mo perform…“, to which Sung Si Kyung was a bit taken aback, and the MCs erupted in roars of laughter.
Super Junior's Kyuhyun got threatened with a knife in Spain
Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun revealed that he was threatened with a knife while he was in Spain.
On October 27th, Kyuhyun tweeted,
“A morning in Spain.. On my way back to the hotel, in a strange place, a young man suddenly began to follow me and start up conversation.. I had a bad feeling about it, then he took out his knife and began to threaten me.. He hectically yelled at me, then gave up and ran away.. To those of you who vacation alone, please be careful ㅜㅜ“
According to SM Entertainment, after completing the ‘SMTOWN Live NYC‘ at Madison Square Garden, Super Junior has been taking a break. Kyuhyun decided to recharge on a solo vacation to Spain, but it seems that he had a dangerous encounter.
A SM Entertainment representative, “He spoke on the phone with his manager before posting. Thankfully, nothing happened and he is safe now.”
