Lee Hyori responded to a netizen’s suggestion for her to marry TV personality Kim Jae Dong.
On October 27th someone had written via their Twitter page, “I don’t know why, but I feel like Lee Hyori and Kim Jae Dong would make a nice couple. They look good together! I personally would like to see the two get married.”
Lee Hyori happened to read the tweet and responded rather quickly. She retweeted the tweet above and added, “Let’s not talk nonsense“, which netizens found hilarious.
Kim Jae Dong and Lee Hyori are actually very close friends. The two have frequently gone hiking together and have become close over the years, enjoying a strictly platonic relationship. Her comment, ‘let’s not talk nonsense‘, was probably Hyori trying to offer comic relief, ending any more absurd and awkward marriage suggestions.
Followers commented, “I laughed out loud when I saw Hyori’s comment“, “Are you not going to protect the rights of Kim Jae Dong?”, “The two will probably live in the mountains if they marry“, and “Do not misunderstand! The two are close friends!”
