You might be rightly inspired to take up some 2021 Kdramas you missed thanks to this great Omona Original, but the Kdrama industry never stops (literally!) - so let's take a look at some Kdramas set to premiere in January 2022.

Opinions are mine and should be taken lightly as they are just my first impressions. Other thoughts are welcomed!

From heart poses to a sweet morning call, Yim Si-wan, Shin Sae-kyeong, Choi Soo-young, and Kang Tae-oh seem to have a knack for picking out mission blocks! Watch the RUN ON stars become the first team to complete the most Jenga missions. Lucky for us, unlucky for them 😉

In this series I want to go through groups that are gone, but not forgotten. I will go from debut till disbandment or [indefinite] hiatus, remembering the time we had together and look back on their highs and lows.

ZE:A

ZE:A, also known as Children of Empire, is a South Korean boy group formed by Star Empire Entertainment in 2010. The group is composed of nine members: Kevin, Hwang Kwang-hee, Im Si-wan, Lee Hoo, Kim Tae-heon, Jung Hee-chul, Ha Min-woo, Kim Dong-jun and Park Hyung-sik. The group released their debut single in 2010, their last release as a group was their compilation album "Continue" in 2015.

I actually really enjoyed making this post. Re-watching all their work I can only come to the conclusion that they are underappreciated as a group and quickly overlooked in 2nd gen kpop despite producing some extremely popular stars.
Apart from their most popular songs (Aftermath, Phoenix, Breathe, The Ghost of the Wind) I really enjoyed All Day Long. Some of their songs sound dated now and some concept changes didn't make any sense though (boxing choreography to cute boyfriend concept for example).
Their performances are really great. They really had the full package: a wide range of great vocals, visually very attractive, great stage presence, the ability to adapt to concept changes.
I really enjoyed their unique choreography and formations. I'm really sad for them that their CEO ruined everything for them (and all his other groups). I would love to hear what you think about ZE:A. Your favorite member? Favorite concept and song? Do you enjoy all their solo work?
Also, I really enjoyed finding a gif for this post for obvious reasons 👀.

Lee Dong Wook gives me the creeps every time he peeps into that hole to check out Im Siwan. I just want Siwan to run to the other direction and not go back to Eden Gosiwon!

Siwan spent the past few days performing at the Gyeryong Military Culture Festival, along with Super Junior's Ryeowook, actor Joo Won, and others! He also released a new duet with Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyuna. And one of his fellow actors in The King Loves recently praised his light. <3
