My original thought was that maybe J(o?u?)ng Woo was originally at the orphanage with the twins but he got adopted/fostered? &/or maybe JW was already going crazy before moving to Seoul (why couldn’t JW get a job before his
assholeof a “friend” gave him one? idk idk...no subject
Date: 2019-09-30 02:26 pm (UTC)This is very convoluted. But then again, this is a k-drama so it's totally possible lmao Regarding the other thing, I won't spoil, but there's something about that in episode 8 (I think a watched them together so I don't remember exactly in wich one it was). I mean it's nothing clear, but we are shown a bit more about the army flashback he keeps getting. And you might be onto something there.

Date: 2019-09-30 06:23 pm (UTC)So many things are happening, and I still have no idea how they are going to wrap this all up...
Episode 8 was so intense, honestly this whole show has been intense from the very start.
Each episode just keeps building and building.

Date: 2019-09-30 07:26 pm (UTC)Especially because of the way the show is presented to us, there are various moments where we as a viewer truly have no idea if some of the incidents even happened/are real or just hallucinations by Jong Woo... from the constant drugging or his mental breakdown.
So it's like what's going on? Is there even anything going on??
And your right there are so many loose ties and unanswered questions, I honestly have no idea how they are going to pull off giving us a fitting end to this show... with the least amount of plot-holes possible.
With the way this show is going and all the delusions and madness, part of me would not be surprise if they pull the "it was all a dream" card or something outlandish.
My ideal scenario is that he finally embraces his inner-darkness, whatever happened to him while he was serving in the military really did a number on him (I'm guessing.)
The twisted part of me, is craving for a dark ending to this drama.
But, I feel like the police woman is going to somehow bring this hellish sadistic group of individuals down and help save Jung Woo from himself...
(which is kinda disappointing, but it's the more tv drama friendly solution, I feeel)no subject

Date: 2019-10-01 07:17 pm (UTC)/sexdream about it too.Siwan is my boy but LDW is really shining in this show. The moment I saw that he was cast, I could tell he was gonna be great in it. He's really letting loose in the last couple episodes too. No need to beat about the bush, just going full weird.
Jong Woo: Please leave me alone
Moon Jo: gently massages Jong Woo's Adam's apple
Moon Jo: I like looking at the Adam's apple from inside people's mouths.
Jong Woo: 😬
I loved him popping up out of the shadows when Jong Woo, his gf, and his boss were meeting and just laying into the boss with that shit eating grin too. He is enjoying himself too much.
Poor Jong Woo though, even when he's basically senseless like at the police station (what is Moon Jo giving him?), he's still so terrified of Moon Jo. His face when he was leaving the police station with Moon Jo =((((. I'm really so sad for him. He's gonna break my heart.
They really could have made this into a full show. The pace they've had to kill people in this show has been slightly ridiculous. I'd have loved to have had a little more suspense in the beginning about what was going on with the other tenants too instead of just immediately confirming that they were murderers.
Can't believe this weekend will already be the last week. Seems like the tensions between Moon Jo and the others are coming to a head, I think he might kill the pervert for trying to kill Jong Woo and even Mrs. Eom seemed a little upset about him killing the one twin. Maybe that's why he's talking about leaving in the preview. Did anyone recognize what it was that laughy twin was putting in his tin when he said he won?

Date: 2019-10-02 06:03 am (UTC)As I've mentioned in my other comments, no idea how this will wrap up making it more exciting to watch.
Laughy twin placed memory cards and sim cards on the tin can. Maybe he got those from their victims. And maybe our lady police will find those and be able to use them as evidence.
BTW, I believe one of their housemates (the one that the detective is looking for) is still alive and tied on the basement, right?
