Joo Sang-Wook and Cha Ye-Ryun welcome a daughter

On July 30, a source from Will Entertainment revealed, “Joo Sang-Wook and Cha Ye-Ryun gave birth to their first daughter tonight. The mother and child are both very healthy.”

Furthermore, Joo Sang-Wook himself uploaded a picture of his daughter on Instagram, announcing her arrival. The actor posted a picture of his daughter holding onto his finger, and he shared, “my beautiful princess has finally arrived. No words could describe this beautiful and sentimental moment. I’m my happiest self and just thankful. I will raise her right. Wife, you have done a great job and I love you so much. I cried a lot today.”

"Boyfriend" confirmed for November premiere

The new television series starring Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum is set to go on air on tvN in November, the series' production company said Monday. The drama is scheduled for the 9:30 p.m Wednesday-Thursday slot on the cable channel.

The sad romance series revolves around a daughter of a high-powered politician married to a man from a chaebol family, played by the 36-year-old Song, and an ordinary young man, played by the 25-year-old Park. It is Song's first TV show role since the 2016 hit "Descendants of the Sun." She married her co-star from the series, Song Joong-ki, in 2017. It is Park's first drama since "Love in the Moonlight" in 2016.

The drama is produced by Bon Factory, which has made such hit series as "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim," "She Was Pretty" and "Master's Sun."

JJ Holic Media took to MASC’s official fan cafe on July 30 to share their statement. It read, “First, we want to sincerely apologize to the fans who have loved and supported MSAC for worrying you with such bad news. We are apologetic that we were unable to prevent this incident, and we feel a strong sense of responsibility.”

They continued, “Since March up till now, we have been holding deep conversations with the members of MASC in order to ensure that the remaining members are not affected negatively by the situation. We had been discussing their future activities and schedules when this incident unfortunately came to light. We were slow to notify you of this incident as we were worried that it would negatively affect the other members and the name of ‘MASC,’ and this is also why our official statement has been delayed as well, and for that we apologize.”

PD of "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" involved in Jang Jayeon's suicide

The PD who’s in charge of "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty" is called Song Byungjoon. This person was included in Jang Jayeon’s list (T/N: Jang Jayeon is an actress who committed suicide because she had been sexually and physically abused by a number of high executives in the entertainment industry. She wrote a “list” of 31 people whom she was forced to “host”). Jason Kim who used to be her manager was arrested for charges about sexually harassing her, using violence, taking drugs, etc. but since he only acknowledged to the violence charges, he only went to prison for 4 months. When Jang Jayeon committed suicide, she wrote a list containing 31 men who sexually and physically abused her and one of them is Song Byungjoon. I really like the drama but because of this person, I’m just gonna stick to the webtoon. Please don’t watch the drama.

“Fox Bride Star” tells the stories of Lee Soo Yeon and Han Yeo Reum, who meet while working in passenger services, “the heart and lungs” of Incheon Airport. “Fox Bride Star” will be written by Kang Eun Kyung of “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo” and “Romantic Doctor Kim,” and directed by Shin Woo Chul of hit dramas like “Secret Garden” and “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” This drama will mark their first collaboration together in five years since “Gu Family Book.”

A top-tier university graduate and boasting perfect marks on a standardized English proficiency test, Lee Soo Yeon (Lee Je Hoon) was accepted to work at the Incheon Airport’s operational planning team. Lee Soo Yeon originally dreamt of becoming a pilot but had to give it up due to his bad eyesight. Chae Soo Bin’s character Han Yeo Reum began working at Incheon Airport to pursue her dream job. While she watches planes take off and land every day, she herself has never ridden a plane. Han Yeo Reum is assigned to be a passenger service agent, dubbed “the hardest role in the airport.”

Lee Dong Gun will be playing charismatic and friendly Seo In Woo, the airport’s operations manager. He is known for his wit that can turn a serious situation around, leadership, and adaptability. Kim Ji Soo will be Yang Seo Gun, the airport’s passenger services manager. A workaholic who is nice to passengers and headstrong in the face of danger, she plays a pivotal role in Han Yeo Reum and Lee Soo Yeon’s working lives. Other actors who will be starring in this drama include SF9’s Rowoon as Go Eun Seob, a member of the airport’s mooring operations team who was hired at the same time as Han Yeo Reum, Kim Kyung Nam as security team member Oh Dae Gi, and Lee Soo Kyung as judo champion-turned security team member Na Young Joo.

It is set to premiere on SBS in October following the end of “Thirty But Seventeen.”
