Upcoming drama “Risky Romance” is about the romantic chaos that occurs when hormone-obsessed endocrinologist Joo In Ah (played by
Lee Si Young) picks competitive neurosurgeon Han Seung Joo (
Ji Hyun Woo) as her research subject.
Kim Jin Yeop plays Cha Jae Hwan, the son of the hospital director, and
Yoon Joo Hee plays announcer Joo Se Ra. The drama is directed by Lee Chang Han, who previously directed “I Need Romance,” and writer Kim Nam Hee, who previously wrote “Cheese in the Trap.”
The relationship chart shares a little more about interesting relationship between the main leads. Joo In Ah picks Han Seung Joo as her research subject, while Han Seung Joo curiously regards Joo In Ah as someone to take revenge on. Cha Jae Hwan and Han Seung Joo have a senior-junior relationship, while Cha Jae Hwan is interested in Joo In Ah. Joo Se Ra, revealed to be Joo In Ah’s stepsister with whom she has a hostile relationship with, is interested in Cha Jae Hwan. Another notable relationship is Lee Mi Woon (played by
INA) who is Joo Se Ra’s roommate.
Head of the hospital is Cha Jae Hwan’s father Cha Jung Tae (played by
Jeon No Min). Hospital staff in the neurosurgery department includes the head of the department Jang Ji Yeon (played by
Sun Woo Sun) and 2nd year resident Jung Hyun Woo (played by J
ang Se Hyun). In the endocrinology department, there is the head of the department Yoo Sang Bum (played by
Choi Ryung), specialist Lee Jin Kyung (played by
Bae Seul Gi), and 1st year resident Choi Jae Seung (played by
Shin Won Ho).
