In case you can't listen to the audio, he was talking about the collaborations with BTS saying that there's some original music coming up too, that the process is they come up with a few ideas and then they focus on one or two. One of the interviewers tells him how it's cool that one song can lead to a string of collabs and then Steve slips up and says "well they're both..." and that's when he knew he said too much.

Omona's Pick: Best of Day6 Impromptu Songs from VLive

If you weren't already aware, Day6 spent the year of 2017 churning out two songs, a MV, and two concerts every month for their Every Day6 project. You might think that was enough for the band to take on, but no, it wasn't!

In addition to their official songs and compositions, Day6 also took on the added task of letting fans write lyrics and coming up with songs for them. As part of their Day6 Composer, You Lyricist series on VLive, Day6 would come up with a theme for fans to write lyrics around. Then, they would take those lyrics and come up with a self-composed song on the spot. While none of these impromptu songs have seen official release yet, there were truly some gems that came out of this exercise. Check out of some of my favorites their best songs below!

Ji Sung and Han Ji Min cast in tvN drama

Writer Yang Hee-seung of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-ju, Oh My Ghostess, and High School King of Savvy is back with a new drama for tvN, and this one’s going to be a fantasy romance called Wife I Know. It even has a confirmed cast already, with Ji Sung and Han Ji-min signed on to play husband and wife.

The drama will be a time-slip love story about a husband who travels back and forth between past and present, changing the events and lives of everyone around him. Ji Sung stars as a very average salaryman who’s been a middle manager at a bank for six years, and Han Ji-min plays his wife. Five years into their marriage, a choice he makes in the past suddenly alters everything about the present.

The drama is described as a cheerful romance about choices and fated love, and aims to portray a relatable, realistic marriage. Best of all, with this writer, we can expect quirky characters, fluttery romance, hilarious dialogue, and lots and lots of heart.

Wife I Know will be directed by PD Lee Sang-yub of Shopping King Louis, Mr. Back, and King’s Daughter, Su Baek-hyang. It’s being planned for a broadcast on tvN later this year.

Jung Hyung-don and Defconn Officially Stepping Down from ‘Weekly Idol’ MC Positions

Jung Hyung-don and Defconn are officially stepping down from their MC Positions of ‘Weekly Idol’, which they have been hosting for 7 years. On February 22nd, a source said “Jung Hyung-don and Defconn are leaving MBC Every1’s show ‘Weekly Idol’ after their last shooting on March 7th”.

The two have been hosting the show since July, 2011. Although the show didn’t get much recognition during the beginning, Jung and Defconn’s perfect harmony with a lot of idols has led the show become popular. And at some point, the show has become a “mandatory” show for many idols to appear on. All of the top idols have been on the show, including Big Bang, BoA, Girls’ Generation, BTS, Super Junior, EXO, and IU.

It’s especially a special show for Jung Hyung-don. In December, 2015, Jung had to take a break because of his health problems. Defconn and a special MC led the show until March, 2016, when Kim Hee-chul and Hani hosted the show as temporary MCs. In October that year, Jung Hyung-don came back and has been hosting the show since then.

Yet, both Jung and Defconn will step down from their MC positions, and the program may also change to a seasonal show. There is nothing specific decided in terms of the show’s format or next MCs.

F.T. Island Planning to Serve Their Military Conscription Together

Industry sources recently reported that F.T. Island is preparing for their mandatory military enlistment. But not in the way that many would expect. Instead, they are working out a way to have all the members serve their time in the military at the same time.

The group is considering a plan to join the army two-by-two, with the last member joining around the same time. This two-by-two method is part of the joint enlistment system that allows people to serve in the military with close friends or colleagues. Together, they receive training and live in the same unite until they are discharged.

Model Han Hyun-min to Appear on JTBC Reality Show "Stranger"

High school student model Han Hyun-min’s daily life will be revealed on JTBC show ‘Stranger’. He will appear on the show on Saturday, February 24th. Han, who was born between his Nigerian father and Korean mother, has been actively working as a model since at young age. Last year, he was also selected as one of the ‘30 Most Influential Teens of 2017‘ by TIME Magazine.

Although he is one of most-wanted models in Korea right now, Han Hyun-min will show his life as a typical high school kid on the show. After school, he would go out with friends and eat Korean street food, or he would use teenage slang words that are popular among teenagers.

He also revealed his apartment that he is currently sharing with new models. Han has been living in both the apartment and his real house that he lives with family.

The episode will air on the 24th at 4:40 P.M. (KST)
