Welcome to the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic games!!!! Watch along with fellow Omonians <3



Opening & closing ceremonies will take place in Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium. Built at approximately $58M, the open-roof stadium (get ready to freeze) was built specifically for both opening and closing ceremonies, but will not host any athletic events. The stadium seats 35,000 people, who may experience the coldest Olympics to date. A recent concert at the PyeongChang Olympic stadium saw 6 reported cases of hypothermia.

The ceremony director teases "The theme for the Closing Ceremony is “Next Wave”. It will have a festival atmosphere to recognise and celebrate the athletes’ hard work and achievements at the Games. We have created a show that looks towards the future; it includes quite a lot of traditional Korean humour and fun elements to add to the party feel."

Ryu Sera - 'Stay Real' teasers + Spring Rain concert

Ryu Sera (formerly of Nine Muses) will host her second concert on the 10th of March at the Olympic Park (Muse Live Hall). Moon Hyuna, also a former member of Nine Muses, has confirmed on instagram that she will appear at the concert as a guest. Ryu Sera has also teased the 3rd March release of her new digital single, Stay Real.

With a spate of #MeToo accusations spreading through the Korean entertainment scene, local broadcasters and production companies are grappling with the repercussions of the global movement as they witness a cascade of sexual harassment accusations made against big-name actors.

On Friday, actors Cho Jae-hyun and Oh Dal-soo were accused of sexual harassment after online posts by victims and witnesses about their misconduct surfaced online.

i won't be posting any of these actors' images here as i don't want anyone to be triggered. also, actor/professor han myung goo recently admitted to sexually harassing his female students, a film actor was accused of physically & sexually assaulting multiple people (specifically women in the prostitution business), and a rapper sexually harassed an underaged fan & got kicked out by his agency after he apologized. i hope more people come forward to expose & weed out these awful people.
