Brave Girls to Comeback With Completely New Image and Line-Up

Girl group Brave Girls will be returning with five new members!

On February 3, Brave Entertainment said, “Three of the original members have left the group and we have added five new members for a completely new transformation.” This will be their first comeback in three years, since their 2013 release of the single “For You.”

Minyoung, Yoojung, Eunji, Yuna, and Hayoon are the new members to join Brave Girls, taking the place of Eunyoung, Seoah, and Yejin who left the group. Those three members are said to be concentrating on their studies and on their individual activities.

On the 27th of January 2016 it was reported that YG entertainment had won 9 awards in branding design, album package design, and package design part at ‘iF DESIGN AWARD 2016’.

Amongst these awards Epik High were included with their “Shoebox” and “Feast” album package design.

Besides the acknowledgement that “Feast” was included , there was no more information about what “Feast” is.

Epik High’s leader Tablo had announced at the end of this year and more recently in a tweet that we can expect a new album this year from Epik High. Since Epik High were busy managing HIGHGRND artists and producing Lee Hi’s upcoming album many expected that Epik High’s album may be later.

Also none of the press articles which mentioned YG winning at the IF awards talked about “Feast” as if it were something new or upcoming adding to speculation of what “Feast” actually is and when it will be released.

Epik High are known for their subtle spoilers – perhaps this is one of them?



Instagram user and YG entertainment designer Seaflo uploaded on her instagram the winning entries of the IF awards. Within her posts she also uploaded the mystery album of Epik High’s “Feast.”

She also mentioned in her caption that this is an unreleased album. Besides the album art we do not know much about Feast, nor do we have an estimated comeback date . Considering entries for the IF awards were due in October it would be mean that even though the design is complete – perhaps the songs aren’t or perhaps Epik High do not wish to promote yet and hence this album has been not been mentioned anywhere by the members, not even when it was announced that they won an award for it (Tablo tweeted the article but only tagged #shoebox in his tweet).

Cheese in the Trap depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol (Kim Go-Eun) and her senior Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin). Hong Seol works part-time due to her family's poor background. Yoo Jung is good looking, gets good grades, athletic and has a kind personality, but he has a dark side. Originally a webtoon series.

Inha and Jaewoo’s interaction is funny, that naughty IM-ing with Young Gon is not (cringe), plus the digitally-altered Inho blush was hilarious except for him because he’s in for a heartbreak :|

Fantagio’s New Boy Group ASTRO Reveals First Teaser and Logo

Fantagio’s upcoming boy group ASTRO has released their first teaser image, featuring the whole group lounging in what appears to be a high school hallway.

In addition, the company revealed the group’s logo and official color. The logo, with resembles a modified hexagram, was created by combining two triangles. The triangle shape was taken from the “A” in “ASTRO,” and the “A” in “All Fans.” The two shapes are then combined together to form a star. Lines were further removed so that neither shape could be removed from the other, symbolizing ASTRO’s connection with their fans. ASTRO also means “star” in Spanish, and their logo reflects the same meaning. Their official color will be a shade of yellow.

The group has been active in pre-debut activities since last year, and will be debuting on February 23.

Seoeon and Seojun head out to see what this mysterious animal is! Sunghoon has become an actor and Shiho and Sarang visit the movie set to support him! They open up a cafe and serve the production crew with delicious drinks! Meanwhile, the triplets go on a trip to a ski resort! Their ski skills have improved greatly compared to last time!

awww i like eugene and taeyoung's little family unit. it was sweet when he made coffe for the cameramen and struck up a conversation with one of them, though kinda funny at the same time with the visual of him talking to a tent lol. i wonder if shoo and her kids will guest one day. mingukie has a need for speed lol. and ilkook seems to be really dedicated to getting them to master errands. i really liked seoeon and seojun's time witht he dance crew, it's always great when the guests genuinely enjoy playing with little kids. i wodner if sunghoon is thinking of branching out into acting, he can't be a fighter forever.

after kicking it off this last weekend, it's been revealed (and confirmed) that shinee's current (fourth) japanese tour, shinee world 2016, is their largest japanese nationwide tour ever. the first sixteen stops of the tour, which will be held at various arenas throughout the country, was confirmed to have sold out this last week with the start of the tour. after this, it's been tentatively revealed that all four dome concerts have also sold out, with the exception of block / limited seating and global packages. though the exact number of attendees will not be confirmed until the tour has finished, the tentative number is 350,000 which sees the group breaking their own prior record. (310,000 with their last tour, shinee world 2014.) the article linked (though not translation by the person who tweeted it) also mentions how the total number of attendees for this tour will bring the total number of attendees of all of their tours in japan to roughly 1.2 million. it then elaborates on how this consolidates their leading position within the hallyu wave in japan, and how their popularity can be "enjoyed" with the likes of other leading korean groups in japan such as big bang and tvxq. congrats!

In your five years together, have there been parts of the job that you haven't liked?
Dongwoo: Lack of sleeping.
Woohyun: Sometimes we feel bad when the members aren't together. Yesterday, we had [split into] two teams. We had a tourist team and a shopping team. But Sungjong went out by himself. It was something I felt bad about because I wanted to be with him. So I was kind of sad because he was kind of sad and that's tough.

Fuse: Welcome back to New York, Infinite! What have you guys been up to?
Sungyeol: We're happy to be here in New York. When I was here two years ago, I wanted to go to the Statue of Liberty, but I wasn't able to go. But this time, I actually went to it and I was really happy to see it. I felt free when I saw it.
Hoya: I also went to the Wall Street to visit the bull statue.
Woohyun: Yesterday I went to Phantom of the Opera. Wow.

How were the previous cities on the tour?


Sungyeol: We had shows previously in L.A., Vancouver, Santiago, and all that. New York is really cold right now, but when we were in Chile, it was really really hot, and we really enjoyed the weather.
Sunggyu: And the wine!

You're coming to the end of your Infinite Effect world tour, which is your second world tour. How is it different than your first, 2013's One Great Step?


Hoya: Even though I'm a singer and performer, on the first tour I was amazed by all the place that I hadn't been to yet. Fans were always amazed to Infinite, but it was amazing for us to see all the fans from all around the world. We decided to do an even more perfect show this time, compared to the last shows, and that's what we're trying to do on this tour more than ever.

You had some surprising items throw onstage. L, I heard someone threw their underwear at you. What was your reaction?


L: (Laughs.) First off, I was embarrassed. Really embarrassed. It came to me as a culture shock because I didn't realize really passionate fans from South America threw their underwears to us. I was embarrassed, but at the same time I was happy about it. I felt good.
Sunggyu: He's keeping it! (Group laughs.)
L: (Laughing.) Joke! He's just kidding.

Were there any really memorable fan interactions or really touched you?


Hoya: For me, the fans in Poland were not just screaming, but stomping the ground so the whole venue was shaking like it was an earthquake. It was amazing.
Woohyun: When we sing, the fans were singing along together. Singing is how we connect with the fans. It's really fantastic.

I heard you're dealing with a leg injury, Hoya. How is it?


Hoya: It's getting a lot better, but it's still injured. I'm exercising everyday to make sure I can give a better performance.

I've always loved how every member is involved in sub-unit and solo projects. Are you planning of any new units or solo albums at the moment?


Dongwoo: We're always thinking about new units. We're thinking about it and planning for it, but nothing confirmed.

You've been together for five years. What have you learned about one another in that time?


Hoya: There's a lot to learn from one another. Everyone has their own advantages so we always try to learn good things from one another, not bad things.
Sunggyu: I learned from Sungyeol--he's the type of person who thinks a lot and considers a lot. He's a very direct person, but he thinks a lot before he takes action. And he colors his hair a lot, but that's something I don't want to learn from him.
Sungyeol: And I've learned from Sungjong. I'm amazed by Sungjong's reaction to fans and [how] he's always so loving to fans. And that's something we look up to. In fact, we think Sungjong could be a politician or some kind of lobbyist.

Who was the tourist team and who was the shopping team?


Sunggyu: Shopping team was me, Woohyun and Sungyeol. Tourist team was Dongwoo, L and Hoya. And Team Sungjong. Three teams!

You clearly have a lot of good teamwork. How do you resolve issues?


Sunggyu: We fight! (Laughs.) But then we say sorry. Communication and conversations resolves all issues. And then shopping team will shop.

And looking forward, what else is coming in 2016? What are you excited about?


Woohyun: We're working on a new album. We're also preparing the encore concert of this show in Korea for Korean fans.

What message do you have for the international fans who are already missing you?


Hoya: We want to say, we're away but our minds are together. It might be "out of sight, out of mind," but we'd rather say out of sight, in mind. That's actually why we composed the song "Together," because we're always together. Even when we're away technically.
