GOT7’s Youngjae Accepted Into Seokyeong University!

GOT7’s Youngjae has been accepted into Seokyeong University as a theater and film major for the incoming 2015 class. Youngjae was one of several celebrities who took the college entrance exam last November.

Youngjae will attend Seokyeong University and continue his activities as a singer at the same time. As theater and singing often go hand-in-hand, Youngjae chose to join the theater and film department to lay the groundwork to expand his career.

Youngjae played an active part in his group GOT7, a JYP Entertainment boy group that debuted in 2014. GOT7 received the Best New Artist Award at the Golden Disk Awards and the Seoul Music Awards, confirming their status as one of the hottest rookies of 2014.

Eric Nam will be taking on his first U.S showcase tour this month, presented by WME Radio and managed by his Korean agency, B2M Entertainment.

In an announcement posted by WME on February 1st, it was revealed that SPICA’s Boa will be joining Eric Nam on his showcase tour, and further asked followers what kind of songs would they like to hear between the two artists.

Eric Nam will be visiting various cities in the United States, including New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles on February 20th, 22nd, 27th, and March 1st respectively.

Tickets for each stop went on sale on January 15th, so get your tickets now at Ticketmaster (New York and Atlanta) or Eric Nam’s tictail. You can also follow the Facebook event page for each cities: New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

SlayMinute comeback: 'Crazy' mini album track listing

With days left until the release highly anticipated 6th mini-album Crazy, 4MINUTE has unveiled the full tracklist of their albums to fans on February 2nd.
4MINUTE will be promoting two titles tracks this time around, including their pre-release track “Cold Rain.” Other tracks include the second leading track “Crazy,” “1 Verse,” “Tickle,” “Eyes,” and “SHOW ME.”
Fans can look forward to the track “SHOW ME,” as it features rap lyrics written by members HyunA and Sohyun. In addition, Sohyun writes the Korean lyrics to the third track, composed by international composers Adam Kulling and Alice Gernandt.
Crazy will be released on February 9th, and has already released image teasers that have 4NIAs excited for the group’s newest and fresh concept.

The first episode of N*White's YouTube(?) show. This actually came out last September, but they don't have many int kpop fans so everything gets subbed by one (awesome) person that goes by the name "aenhwaiteu" on tumblr, YouTube, twitter, etc. They even asked a Korean fan from N*White's fancafe to transcribe this so they could translate it.

Tbh it's a dull video, but it's /something/ to introduce the girls to a wider audience. Since it's release, member Lin-A has left.

There was an album post on here for their Hello Boy release, but those videos got taken down. Here's a link to my personal favorite song from that album, "You and I".

Singer-actress Uhm Jung-hwa is set to work on a new mini-album.

According to multiple music industry insiders on Monday, the 46-year-old, who is often dubbed Korea’s answer to Madonna, recently signed a contract with Mystic Entertainment in order to prepare for a new album.

Uhm’s current agency is Sim Entertainment, but since it mostly represents actors and actresses, Uhm decided to join forces with Mystic Entertainment, home to musicians like Yoon Jong-shin and Kim Yeon-woo.

If Uhm releases her new mini-album in June as scheduled, it will be her first in seven years.
