'Pit-a-Pat India’ PD Says, “The Six Kyu-Line Members Recommended Each Other For The Show”

In an official statement that was released on the 30th, PD Lee Yae Ji talked about KBS 2TV’s new variety show ‘Pit-a-Pat India’ and said, “The six members all knew each other very well already, so they recommended each other for the program.”

She continued to say, “They’re all happy and proud to be doing such a meaningful thing together, especially because they’ve never been able to appear on a show together due to their busy schedules. The staff have already visited India to conduct a field study, including safety checks. I can assure you that everyone is going to come back in good health.”

Pit-a-Pat India’ will take six friends on a journey into a new world and the final product will be more like a movie than a reality show, with India as the center stage. This project is being spearheaded by PD Lee Yae Ji, who has proven herself through shows like ‘Hello’ and ‘Our Neighborhood’s Masters of Variety and Sports’.

The six members who will visit India are TVXQ’s Max Changmin, Super Junior’s Kyu Hyun, SHINee’s Minho, INFINITE’s Sung Kyu, CN BLUE’s Jong Hyun and EXO’s Suho. PD Lee will have the stars interacting with ordinary citizens in India, like she did in ‘Our Neighborhood’s Masters’, and many are excited to see what will come out of her new challenge.

CP Kim Ho Sang said, “PD Lee Yae Ji is great at planning and creating variety shows that bring ordinary citizens and celebrities together to warm the heart of viewers. ‘Pit-a-Pat India’ will allow PD Lee Yae Ji to explore the culture of India, something that’s been a mystery to the Korean people, and create a brand new type of variety show and Max Changmin, Kyu Hyun, Minho, Sung Kyu, Jong Hyun and Suho are all great friends, but they are all very competitive and have very different characters, being of blood types A, B and AB. Add that to the fact that they’ve never appeared on a variety show together before. This combination is set to create unexpected circumstances and laughs for the viewers.”

‘Pit-a-Pat India’ will begin filming on the 2nd of February and begin airing in the spring of 2015.

Kangin Confirmed to appear on "Real Man 2"

On January 30, MBC revealed, “Eleven members, all with different personalities, have been confirmed for the second season of Real Man 2 and will begin filming in February.”

The eleven members of the second season are Super Junior’s Kangin, Boyfriend’s Young Min and Kwang Min, Untouchable’s Sleepy, actor Lee Gyu Han, Jung Gyu Woon, Im Won Hee, entertainer Sam Okyere, chef Sam Kim, comedian Kim Young Chul and former basketball player Kim Seung Hyun.

Im Won Hee, who decided to return to the army despite being well over 40, and comedian Kim Young Chul, who is determined to spread laughter in the military living hall, have been gathering attention for making the decision to appear on the show, despite their age.

Some of the members catch attention with their unique careers, including the star chef Sam Kim and the former basketball player Kim Seung Hyun.

Actor Lee Gyu Han with various charms, Jung Gyu Woon, who is known to be the idol among older women, the 4-D rapper Untouchable’s Sleepy, Super Junior’s Kangin, who has served in the military, and Sam Okyere have also joined the show.

Lastly, the pretty flower boy twins Young Min and Kwang Min, who have shaken up the hearts of nunas, will be challenging themselves as the first ‘twin soldiers’ on Real Man 2.

Submitting to the military code, all the members of season two have decided to go for the clean-cut short hairstyle.

Anticipation has already been increasing on the season two of Real Man, which realistically shows the stars’ life in the army and their friendship with the other members of the unit.




Kim Hee Chul & Goo Hara confirmed as hosts for "A Style For You", new KBS idol beauty program

Upcoming KBS 2TV star beauty program ‘A Style for You’ has today confirmed that Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul and KARA’s Goo Hara will fill the regular MCs slot, with two more to be revealed at a later date.

The program will see the idols give tips about fashion and beauty, while also listening to frustrations faced by Asian youths of today, giving solutions, and offering suggestions. The first recording will take place in February, with Goo Hara and Kim Hee Chul confirmed to be on board.

A SM Entertainment official said, “Kim Hee Chul shows a lot of interest in fashion usually, and he also possesses an unique fashion sense himself. He will definitely show his ‘Space Big Star’ fashion sense through the program.”

Goo Hara and Kim Hee Chul who are known to be good friends off the camera, previously worked together as hosts with Song Joong Ki at the ’2011 Dream Concert,’ and many will be looking to seeing their chemistry once again through the new program.

‘A Style for You’ will premiere in March.


Eunhyuk and Kangin join Shin Dong Yup to host new variety show "Bachellor Party"

Wedding bells are ringing for Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Kangin, but not in the way you might guess.
The two K-pop singers have been confirmed as hosts for the new MBC variety show 'Bachelor Party.'
The upcoming variety show will show bachelors what they need to do before they get married.
Kangin and Eunhyuk, along with comedian Shin Dong Yup, will be dishing out advice to husbands-to-be.

Since Shin Dong Yup is married, he will provide advice to the bachelors about married life and how to prepare for the life-changing event. Meanwhile, single guys Kangin and Eunhyuk give their advice about what the bachelors should do before they say 'I do.'
As in the show's promotional photos, the trio will wear tuxedos as they undertake their hosting duties, as appropriate attire for the occasion of marriage.
The first episode of 'Bachelor Party' will air on MBC Every1 on February 12th at 9:00 PM KST.

Today is the wedding day of Kim Heechul’s noona. I still haven’t met my brother-in-law yet but.. Since Kim Heechul’s noona is the complete opposite of me, ever since we were young she’s been very kind as thick as two short bricks.. Even though I always torment her everyday she always takes care of her dongsaeng.. Uhm. He must be a good brother-in-law. I hope he makes my noona happy. My one and only noona has married so I feel weird. Since I.. have not loved a girl to the point that I wanted to marry her.. Being at this age and doesn’t even know what love is is pitiful.. Sigh…. I need to reflect on myself. As the person from this body is living his up and down life like a child, you need to live your life with brother-in-law and your children happily and affectionately love each other. There were a few fan pictures uploaded and 4 of the 6 (no Sunggyu and Changmin) seemed to be in some kind of city because they went to a music shop and Starbucks, then they went to some producer/writer's home for dinner. So who know...wonder if they changed the basis of the show after the initial "backlash" of having hardships.

Sunggyu flew out to join them later, Changmin is (hopefully) expected to do the same soon too. They were in Mumbai, where a fan recognized them (they were very surprised/happy), and they went around a bit with her before that dinner. I'm hoping KBS just changed its mind and is going to let Kyuline wander around and be entertaining by themselves with no need for emphasis on those 'struggles and challenges' like they had said.

It's a great city to wander around in tbh, and as for 'challenges' they'll face enough with the languages alone, unless one or more of them is fluent in English. But I fully expect this to be a third world stereotyping mess based on past variety show track records.

Heechul is my favorite member (and the only relevant member minus Donghae) of SuJu. His life is just so wild and his instagram is a mix of a sad diary, fashion and beauty shots.

His life is a mess I can't look away from. I can't believe he made them perform Oppa Oppa at a wedding and he didn't even met the groom until the wedding.

Yeah idts....kbs staff already got busted trying to make Indian fans pretend like they don't recognise the idols when they were waiting for them at the airport. Busting stereotypes is probablt not what they're interested in lol.

But from what I've heard, they seem to have had a pleasant enough experience so far - no accounts of crazy fans harassing them like what happened with Exo in London. And no word on whether sasaengs followed them to India. Anyway, I hope they do eat well, get some biryani and kababs too since they probably love meat.
