Earlier today, actress Go Jun Hee and rapper Master Wu were reported to be currently dating each other, but Go Jun Hee's side has denied it and said the two are just friends.

According to multiple officials, they got to know each other through mutual friends and started developing into lovers last September. The two were spotted dating many times around Seoul especial in Hongdae and Gangnam. In particular, Go Jun Hee was even spotted at 'Show Me The Money' concert on September 20th to cheer for Master Wu.

Go Jun Hee's agency, J-Wide Entertainment released their official statement regarding the rumour,"We've checked with Go Jun Hee and she said they did met each other but definitely not dating. It's true that she went to 'Show Me The Money' concert but it wasn't because of Master Wu, she just went there to see all the performances. We also knew about her going to the concert so we were surprised when the dating rumour came out".

Dispatch later came out with proof photos from their date on the 26th last month. The two went on a movie date and Go Jun Hee was escorted to her home by Master Wu. Go Jun Hee's agency once again responsed to the report saying they were not alone as they were meeting with acquaintainces that night. The two are not dating each other.

2. [+213, -33] ㅋㅋㅋ YG begins their media play once again ㅋㅋ With G-Dragon deleting a picture of the drug Molly off of his Instagram, YG's trying to cover it up with media play about one of their nugu artists. No more articles are being released about G-Dragon right now when he normally gets meaningless articles all the time. Amazing how a drug related scandal like this gets nothing now... As if blocking articles wasn't enough, YG's taking it a step further by teaming up with fellow media play queen Go Jun Hee and rushedly putting out their dating scandal today when they were getting ready for the right timing. A shame that celebrities are now being used as media play tools by the media now.

NAVER Exclusive: ‘All About’ According To FTISLAND

FTISLAND’s Japan Best ‘All About’ features music that members hope to be “my everything, your everything, our everything.” The name was picked by FTISLAND members and their manager. Naver Music met up with FTISLAND at FNC Entertainment to hear what FTISLAND wants to share with fans. We’ll unveil the truth now!

Interview: FTISLAND [ALL ABOUT]
On a sunny Monday morning, FTISLAND gathered at FNC Entertainment in Cheongdamdong 111. To help them open up about the album production, we enjoyed a brunch with the members. Hongki couldn’t join us unfortunately because of a drama shoot, but the rest of us started talking about Japan Best Album ‘All About’ in a light-hearted atmosphere.

141002_ft_02_400

Why did you pick ‘FREEDOM’ as the title song for [ALL ABOUT?] And which other song do you like personally?

Jonghun: If I may speak on FTISLAND’s behalf, all of the songs featured in the album are our favorites. But I think ‘FREEDOM’ is more suitable for FTISLAND concerts. Everyone enjoys the song at our concerts. Other than ‘FREEDOM,’ I’d have chosen ‘Beautiful’ ‘as the title song. I think it’s a great song. I also like ‘Beloved.’ It makes me feel happy when I perform the guitar solo part at a concert.
Jaejin: ’On My Way’. When you closely listen to the lyrics, I think the song explains what we’ve achieved so far.
Minhwan: Just like Jonghun, I like ‘Beautiful.’ I really like it because it’s a song that guys would like.
Seunghyun: However many times I think about it, I like ‘FREEDOM’. I also like ‘BE FREE.’

25s6es5

Is there a song in the album that you remember the most from a concert?

Jaejin: When I was singing ‘On My Way’ during the Japan Arena Tour, everyone was lost in deep emotions. I think we all cried at that time, right?
Seunghyn: I think we all felt the tears at that time
Jonghun: We were shy about it but we really performed that song with our hearts. I remember that time the most.
Minhwan: That’s right. I remember that time because we rarely cry together. And this is random but last time we went skiing together and we almost cried while talking.

141002_ft_04_320

Was there a fun episode while putting together [ALL ABOUT]?

Jaejin: I talk to Hongki the most about lyrics. When we were working on ‘Beloved,’ Hongki wrote ‘I can’t even lock you up.’ At first, I opposed that part but the moment Hongki sang it, it felt different. It was so good. Since then, I realized vocalists can interpret lyrics differently based on their voice. And this is my first time sharing this: the song ‘Stay’ has a secret. It’s based on what really happened to me. Our fans probably didn’t know.

141002_ft_05_270

FTISLAND must have made the song selection very carefully because fans have been waiting for this album. If you were to release a translated album in Japan, is there a song you want to include?

Jonghun: ’I confess.’
Jaejin: I want to include ‘Love Love Love’ because I personally like its style
Minhwan: ‘Severely’ for me!
Seunghyun: ’Cool Vs Pretty.’ I think it’ll be fun

141002_ft_06_400

Any last word?

Jonghun: I enjoyed having an opened chat like this for the first time in a while. We really put together Japan Best Album [ALL ABOUT] with care so please listen to it. I’ll listen carefully to both compliments and criticisms.
Jaejin: Through this Japan Best Album, we wanted to let you know that FTISLAND also does music that’s different from what we released in Korea. Also, we’ll visit you with even better look with our official album next year. So please wait for us.
Minwhan: Through this opportunity, I am so glad to share our Japanese songs with Korean fans. We also got to show more variety at our live concerts. So please be excited.
Seunghyun: I’m so glad that I can now perform more songs in Korea and I’ll be writing many good songs. Look forward to them and love our [ALL ABOUT] album.

We had our Q&A with brunch. What’s your one favorite food?

Jonghun: Vietnamese Spring Rolls.
Jaejin: Chicken, Hamburger
Minhwan: Chicken for snack, ddakbokeumtang with rice and a meal on a plane (bibimbab + lettuce)

What you read from Dispatch is basically one side that’s being pushed, but the other side being pushed is one that’s just now making it to the international fandom (I’m sure hardcore SNSD fans have heard rumblings for a while now, though). The other side of the coin is basically that Jessica was outcasted/bullied within SNSD recently.

Standing Egg's new single is a pretty folk-pop song with nice harmonies. (It's giving me kind of a Beach Boys vibe, actually.)
For international fans, it is up at itunes and at CDBaby (which gives them a bigger cut of the sale price)

The sweet-voiced Raina of After School and its sub-unit Orange Caramel collaborated with hip-hop group TROY‘s rapper Kanto on her upcoming solo album.

According to PLEDIS Entertainment on October 3, Raina has worked with TROY’s Kanto on “I Know It’s A Joke,” the title track of her first solo album, “Reset.” The track is set for release on October 8.

After receiving a lot of love for her collaboration with San E on the track “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness” last June, anticipation is high on Raina’s new collaboration with rapper Kanto this time.

In “I Know It’s A Joke,” Raina and Kanto sing about a guy who suddenly tells his girlfriend to break up despite sharing a sweet relationship and a lady who saw the breakup coming but was in denial until it happened.

We tried our best to capture Raina’s true voice that has been hidden throughout this time. Kanto’s baritone rap added to Raina’s vocals brought out the lonely feeling of the song,” said a representative of PLEDIS Entertainment.

Watch out for Raina and Kanto’s collaboration on “I Know It’s A Joke” off Raina’s first digital album “Reset” which drops on October 8.

On the latest episode of JTBC’s “War of Words,” the theme of “Breadwinners of Idol Groups” was discussed. The most known breadwinners that were discussed were 4Minute’s Hyuna, FT Island’s Lee Hongki, and Miss A’s Suzy, among others.

The MCs debated the issue of how these groups split their earnings. Rose Motel’s Yook Joong Wan, for example, splits all of his earnings equally among the members (in other words, 1/N splitting). To this, Lee Yoon Seok commented, “But when the 1/N system gets prolonged over an extended period of time, there are times within idol groups where their parents intervene and complain.” Heo Ji Woong added, “I think it would be a better idea to keep in 1/N to certain limit, and once that limit is reached go their separate ways.

Hearing this debate, Kim Gu Ra showed his disapproval of the 1/N system by commenting, “If the 1/N system is continued, the Miss A members minus Suzy will be the happiest people on Earth.

Jessica’s hired PR Agency has revealed in a statement to media that they have not spoken to or seen Jessica since the initial statement by her to the public.

Since Jessica posted to Weibo, declaring that she was being forcibly removed from Girls’ Generation, the K-Pop world has been in a frenzy. SM Entertainment shortly responded with their own press release, and Jessica responded in-kind with her own statement.

Now, the PR agency (public relations) that worked with Jessica to create her statement has revealed they do not know where Jessica is now. They revealed, “As we only created the press release, we are not aware of where Jessica is or what she is doing. We also do not know anything in relation to Jessica, Tyler, or any other insider information.”

Jessica has been silent since her official statement, not being spotted in public or on social sites. Fans are left wondering if she will still remain in SM Entertainment and what will happen to her afterwards.

Stay tuned for more details.

JYJ’s Yoochun Chooses ZE:A’s Siwan as His Idol-Actor Rival, Compliments His Acting Abilities

It has been reported that JYJ’s Yoochun mentioned ZE:A’s Siwan as his ‘rival’ among all idol-actors.

During the recent Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) open talk session, Yoochun was asked a question in regard to whom he considered a rival out of all ‘acting idols’ that have continued to switch back and forth between acting and idol activities. In response, the singer-actor answered, “There have been many lately, so I’ve been watching a lot of dramas from time to time. The one who appeared in ‘The Attorney?’ Im Si Wan—I didn’t know he was a singer. I thought he was originally an actor.”

Yoochun continued to compliment Siwan’s acting abilities by sharing, “I had thought of him as an actor without knowing that he was a singer, but Jaejoong told me that he is also a singer.”

Meanwhile, the 19th Annual Busan International Film Festival will continue on until October 11.

“The country’s hourly minimum wage in 2014 is 5,210 won ($5). For a singer to earn that amount, 965 people have to download their song, or if the listeners are using a streaming service, 43,416 people have to listen to the song. Is there a reason to do music anymore?”

This is a pretty long article but it's an interesting read and really highlights how the artists really make no money off of their music. Between this and the article posted earlier today about trainee expenses, it's easy to see how a lot of groups don't get paid until years after their debut, if they break even at all.

*watch with the sound off if you want, since voices don't sound too well due to the crying/holding back crying.

Another video... )

Sources: 李瑞馨, MemenGO87

According to fanaccts posted on Tumblr, GO was crying, as you can see in the video, and Mir was teary eyed as well. Even looking at the second video, Seungho looks like he's holding back tears. But no one knows why. An ugly rumor got out about disbanding and also about Seungho and G.O possibly enlisting this year. JTune debunked the disbanding, KA+ contacted them. But to me, enlisting is something they know they would have to do and I don't think they'd be upset like this. At least not the way G.O's tears were coming....right? I guess I could also mention that Mir tweeted a G.O.D song "Longing is More Painful Than Broke Up"...something like that, but he's a fanboy so I don't know what to make of that either.

Normally I wouldn't worry, but since, A. I've never seen G.O cry like this before, and B. It's 2014, my kpop 2014 sirens are going off.
