Date: 2014-10-04 03:18 am (UTC)But I honestly think it started because Jessica wants to move on from the idol life but she didn't want to let go rn because she needs the fame and connections as a member of SNSD to launch her career in fashion (which is totally valid and within her rights since she is after all SNSD the product and the brand), but now she was pushed from the group like 6 months before her 'official' leave and totally cut off from using her name linked to SNSD.
My comment comes from the fact that I've seen people trying to paint this as girls being 'catty' and making this mess a mean girls fan fiction, and that's honestly an awful and horrible stereotype and only comes up because they are girls and that's fucked up, and I mean it is obviously a lot more complicated thank saying black and white.
And when I said I can't believe they thank SME I say it knowing SME hasn't done anything to save their image after Jessica's press release where she basically paints them as the culprits and puts SME as her ally, so I'm surprised they are thankful the company throw them under the bus as well? lol.
idk I'm not even a fan tbh, after Genie I didn't paid attention to them except for the Boys. I love that song.
