Dal Shabet releases group and solo teaser pics

Getting ready for the K-Pop war of June, Dal Shabet has just revealed another teaser photo for their comeback track, “Be Ambitious”.

On a recently-released teaser video, the girls’ faces were covered up by funny animal masks. This time, Dal Shabet members finally showcase their pretty faces that complement their long, shapely legs.

Dal Shabet will be returning to the stage on June 20 with a new mini-album 7 months after the release of ‘Have, Don’t Have’ mini album in November of last year. The album is already drawing attention as it will be listing self-written songs of the members.

SHINee to collaborate with Beat Burger for an electronic remix of their hit songs at 'UMF Korea 2013'



SHINee is crossing off another feat on their bucket list as they are scheduled to stand on stage at a major music festival, 'UMF Korea 2013'!

This will be the group's first time performing at a major music festival of this nature, and you can bet they'll loosen up fans' 'serious' nature at the event taking place on the 15th.

The group will be the guest of electronic team Beat Burger, led by Black Beat's Shim Jae Won who serves as the choreography director for SM artists. They'll be collaborating with Beat Burger to perform the remix of 3 of their hit songs including "Dream Girl".

UMF is an electronic music festival that is held across the world and this will be the second time that the festival is held in Korea.

How did After School's Jungah react when asked about her scandal with SHINee's Onew?

Well, she just laughed it off! After School held a press conference for their "First Love" comeback on the 13th at the Seoul Lotte Card Art Center. During the Q&A session with the media, she was asked, "Did it get awkward with Onew after your scandal?".

Jungah laughed and said, "Onew and I have been really close for a very long time. Since we were so close, it wasn't even awkward. We were just laughing at it. We're still close, comfortable friends."

Back in March, the pair had a love scandal after they were caught hanging out with each other, and they'd denied the relationship and confirmed that they were just close friends.

A Pink's Eunji: She attended a vocal academy before her director recommended that she audition for A Pink. She got in on first try and debuted two months later.

Jessica and Krystal: SM tried to cast Krystal at first but her parents felt that she was too young and declined. They instead recommended Jessica so Jessica joined SM first, then was followed by Krystal once she got older.

SHINee Minho: An SM manager tried to cast him at a ski resort but Minho declined. He kept following Minho around only to be denied again. The manager then spotted Minho walking home from school and gave him another casting offer. Minho declined. Manager kept following and offering anyway again until Minho finally accepted.

Wheesung under investigation : Profonol, Special treatment | Rumoured to have threatened witnesses

Even though Wheesung had originally denied being investigated for propofol abuse, it turns out that he's been investigated twice.

The army prosecutor stated, "We recently summoned Wheesung twice for illegally administering propofol."

According to the police, Wheesung is currently being investigated for regularly administering propofol at the clinics of dermatologists and psychologists from 2011 to the beginning of 2013.

Wheesung's agency had said, "All the reps of the clinics that Wheesung visited testified that he did not illegally administer propofol, but that he had been administered the drug for its original as an anesthetic... Various clinics and medical professionals have submitted their official opinions about how in the case of Wheesung's procedures, propofol is often used. Even the prosecution has asked us to gather statements like this."

The army prosecutors are planning to summon Wheesung again one or two more times, and they are also investigating his friends and family. Additionally, they will be investigating if he was given special treatment because it was discovered that he was given break time from the army an incredible number of times.

Kim Yoon-seok and Song Joong-ki get called out to sea

Hm, I wouldn’t mind being lost at sea with these two. Bong Joon-ho (Snowpiercer, The Host) is producing a new movie called Sea Fog, and he’s scored the fabulous Kim Yoon-seok (Thieves, Wandeuki) to star. That man is just great in everything. Song Joong-ki(Nice Guy, A Werewolf Boy) is being tapped to join him, but that casting’s not confirmed and he’s got a lot of floating offers for movies right now, so we’ll have to wait and see on that front.

Sea Fog will be be the directorial debut of Shim Sung-bo, the screenwriter of Bong Joon-ho’s 2003 film Memories of Murder. It’s an adaptation of a stage play of the same name, and tells the tale of a crew on a fishing boat that’s fallen onto hard times, and begins to smuggle Joseon-jok (Koreans living in China) illegally across the border.

Boyfriend's Jeongmin receives emergency surgery for appendicitis

His label Starship Entertainment said, "Yesterday after his Japanese schedule, he started having stomach pains, so we took him to a nearby local hospital, and they told us to go to the nearest big hospital for surgical procedures. So we immediately transferred him to the Gangnam General Hospital. There he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis."

With Jeongmin's emergency appendectomy surgery, it'll be hard for him to attend any schedules in the near-future. Starship Entertainment said, "Jeongmin probably won't be appearing at his events tomorrow. After that, we're going to adjust his schedule based on his recovery time."
