This made me WAY more emotional than I thought. I think it's because Suho trained for SEVEN FUCKING YEARS, and this is the culmination of all of that. Some people say it's an act, but I'm inclined to think not (especially after his Sukira letter).

Suho crying ripped me to shreds, and honestly I like him the least simply because I just can't pay attention to him but he seems so sincere and kindhearted.

this is probably the most undeserving win in the history of kpop. other nugu groups consistently coming out with better music and materials but denied the win but they win for such a horrible song.

and i wasn't even rooting for them really? they've only released a mini prior to this, and there's a lot of talent on the stage right now. but in the end, winning isn't something about 'deserving' it due to hard work, because every idol works hard to get up there.
all grumbling disappeared as soon as I SAW THE VIDEO OF SUHO CRYING. i was genuinely overcome with emotion because they're not stage tears. they're the tears of someone who trained seven years not knowing if he'd ever debut. i loved how he was just breaking even further as his speech progressed, and what started off confident ended up being words piped up as soon as his brain could make the connection. (he listed 'parents' twice because of it awww.)
and other exciting things: chanyeol as shadow leader making the ending comments! luhan, as joonmyun's hyung, being the one to pat him on the shoulder! jongin having to crouch down and take a moment to process it all, (AND THEN CRYING AT GIMPO AFTERWARDS). taemin being ridiculous and embarrassing with that huge smile on his face. sexing hug. etcetc.
wasn't there a thing about sm releasing the drama mv for wolf if they won first place? or that's what i saw fans talking about. i thought it was absolutely ridiculous they would do that tbh.
