B1A4 to hold first solo concert in December

The male “idol” group B1A4 (composed of Jinyoung, Baro, Sandeul, CNU, and Gongchan) is to hold first exclusive concert.

The concert along with a fan meeting is to take place on the 8th and the 9th of December at the Olympics Handball Arena in the Seoul Olympic Park. It is the group’s first exclusive concert to be held since they debuted.

B1A4 debuted with the EP titled Let’s Fly in 2011, and after a year and seven months, they are finally holding an exclusive concert. Members showed a dramatic growth among its peer “idol” groups by receiving a rookie award.

Also, the group was busy giving performances both at home and abroad.

In June this year, the boys officially debuted in Japan and ranked in higher rankings on the Oricon chart as well as in the first place of the daily rankings of the Tower Records, turning on green light to their activities abroad.

On the 29th of August, their second Japanese single Good Night was released targeting many Japanese fans.

On September 25, Big Bang member and solo artist G-Dragon performed live on "GD Friends Live Worldwide" which was a special concert for fans around the world that was live streamed on Naver Music.  During the special concert, G-Dragon also had a talk segment in which he answered questions from the fans.  Fellow Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung also participated. 

G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung talked about T.O.P's hand injury and Seungri’s media scandals with Japanese model Anna Kubo and partially nude pictures in a Japanese magazine.

Korean Eunuchs Outlived Uncastrated Peers

In the industrialized world, women live at least 5 years longer, on average, than men. Scientists have attributed that difference to everything from healthier habits to hardier cells. Now, a new study that analyzes the longevity of eunuchs, or castrated men, suggests that testosterone may play a part in shortening men's lives.

The idea that testosterone, the male sex hormone, affects lifespan isn't new. Neutered dogs and other animals that have had their sources of testosterone removed often live longer than their intact counterparts. But studies on the connection between castration and longevity in humans are harder to come by, and the results have been inconclusive. A 1969 study of institutionalized patients in Kansas found that castrated men lived an average of 14 years longer than other men in the same facility, but a 1993 study of Italian castrati (singers castrated as boys to preserve their high voices) found nothing unusual about their longevity.

Tiger JK speaks about 'The Creators Project' event

Tiger JK has apologized for his “racist” outburst at a recent event for ‘The Creators Project‘.

He tweeted earlier today:

According to Tiger JK, hecklers in the audience insisted that he perform the “horse dance” from the choreography of Psy‘s “Gangnam Style“, and he was unable to hold back his frustration. He tweeted, “Creators project event other night. I went crazy on all them white folks in the crowd, Cussing them out. During my set, these dudes kept telling me to horse dance , F rapping just dance. I had to cut all my song short. Without self control. My F*** you turned into F** everybody To F*** all the white people to F*** CNN To F *** Hollywood. To Fu** all yall who think Asians are here to make you laugh by dancing my asses off. F** Hollywood thinkin Asians are just a comic relief.”

It was the third time that the rapper featured as the representative artist from South Korea. ‘The Creators Project’, sponsored by Intel and Vice magazine, is a global campaign that supports new and rising artists who use technology to go past the boundaries of creative expression. Tiger JK is also currently propelling ‘The Wanderers‘ project with Yoon Mi Rae and visual artist Lumpens to prevent school violence.

It seems Psy will be keeping his shirt on, at least for another week.

After ranking 11th on Billboard‘s ‘Hot 100‘ chart last week, according to Billboard’s Gary Trust, Psy has leaped up 9 spots to 2nd place with his hit song, “Gangnam Style“. Maroon 5‘s “One More Night” was strong enough to hold off Psy and remain at the top spot for another week.

At a recent press conference, Psy promised to perform shirtless if “Gangnam Style” had reach the top spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100″. Now, we’ll have to wait another week to see if Psy can reach the top spot.

T-ara's Ham Eunjung has filed a lawsuit against the SBS drama "Five Fingers" producers after she was removed from her lead role in the drama.

Ham Eunjung's law agency representing her filed a lawsuit for 140 million won (approx ~$125,000 USD) against the drama producers of "Five Fingers" at the Seoul Central District Court.

After appearing at a press conference for the drama "Five Fingers", Eunjung was suddenly removed from the cast.
