T-ara's Ham Eunjung has filed a lawsuit against the SBS drama "Five Fingers" producers after she was removed from her lead role in the drama.

Ham Eunjung's law agency representing her filed a lawsuit for 140 million won (approx ~$125,000 USD) against the drama producers of "Five Fingers" at the Seoul Central District Court.

After appearing at a press conference for the drama "Five Fingers", Eunjung was suddenly removed from the cast.

I figured the Actors Union would get her to do this...otherwise it sets a bad precedent

JUSTICE FOR HWAYOUNG

Because a law was possibly broken when she was removed suddenly from the cast. Workers are, or should be able to defend their rights when treated unfairly by employers, cuz otherwise those of us not part of the 1% would be fucked 24/7. Especially in the Kpop business where the laws are already shady as hell, it's even more important to stand up for oneself when possible.

I think their point is that Hwayoung should have been treated fairly by her employers too.
Not that that makes this ok.

Mmm, the comment mentioned Eunjung so I took it as an attack against her specifically instead of the company that was at fault for booting Hwayoung. I didn't realize that because her company sucks, she should lose all rights automatically as a result.

If Hwayoung has any legal ground to stand on to sue CCM, she should do this as well... Of course, there is no chance that Hwayoung actually did misbehave and thus breached her contract, making it impossible for her to blame her employers for firing her :3

......totally off topic but I can't figure out why she has two mics. One attached to her cheek and another in her hand. Wouldn't just using the hand mic work better a press event? idgi.

i understand that the producers went with another actress due to the controversy surrounding t-ara, but they handled it so unprofessionally. they should've predicted something like this coming their way.

but still who cares tho

Actually CCM/CEO file lawsuit.

With so much bad publicity producers had no choice but to let her go. They also gave her time to leave and told CCM/CEO of the situation, who refuse to acknowledged there was a problem. The one who cause that problem was KKS in the first place, Eunjung was caught in the middle. As far emotional distress is not the issue as CCM/CEO states, but the breach of contract. Trying to confuse the public w/Eunjung to gain public sympathy. Whoa, even I could see that!!!

Kicking her out was wrong, CCM have felt pain that noone else could. Hopefully they wouldn't treat someone like dirt..

I didn't think it was her personally that was suing but the company she works for that were suing. That's what I read.
