T-ara‘s Hyomin has recently expressed her desire to appear on ‘Invincible Youth 2‘.
On May 5th, the idol tweeted, “Please invite ‘edited girl Hyomin’ to guest on Invincible Youth, just once!! Publicly begging to be put on as a guest.”
Hyomin was a fixed G7 member on the original first season of ‘Invincible Youth’ and had received the nickname ‘edited girl’ (or ‘folding screen girl’) as she had always been edited out and was unable to showcase her talents on the variety program.
After seeing the Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha, whom she appeared with on season 1, on the recent episode of ‘Invincible Youth 2′, Hyomin seems to be longing for the program even more.
Fans left comments such as, “Unnie, I want to see you on ‘Invincible Youth’“, “I miss your character on the program“, and more.

Himchan, who is known as “bare faced,” came without makeup in showing a whole different kind of innocence from the stage image he’s used to showing. However, his husky, low voice allowed the reporter to get a feel for his strong charisma.

So many actors and actresses have been linked with Spike Lee's "Oldboy" remake that we have trouble recalling which ones actually scored the roles but things look to be settling down with "District 9" star Sharlto Copley joining Josh Brolin, taking the villain role last week, while Elizabeth Olsen is eyeing the female lead. From early in its conception, the project has been noted as drawing more from the graphic novel source rather than being a direct remake of Park Chan-wook's film but the biggest question has always been where and how Mark Protosevich's script differs.

Japanese adult video actress, Aoi Sora, is set to debut in Korea as both a singer and an actress.
Aoi Sora recently came to South Korea and was reported to be recording a music video at a night club in Ilsan, Kyung Ki Do. A representative for the night club said,
“Aoi Sora is preparing for her singing activities in Korea. She visited Korea to officially prepare for her debut.”
The music video will feature a famous, Korean dance team called ‘Love Cubic‘. They’re a 5 member girl group that currently has a fan base of around 50,000.
Aoi Sora tweeted,
“After 4 years, I dyed my hair, just for this project.” I’m in Korea right now, actually.”
Aoi Sora has also been cast in an upcoming Korean movie titled ‘Vacance‘, which signals that not only is she debuting as a singer, but as an actress as well.
So far news of her debut in Korea has sparked mainly negative feedback. We won’t know exactly how Aoi Sora’s debut will be until her actual debut though.

The rising popularity of Jang Geun Suk grows faster and faster everyday. In Japan, Japanese netizens discovered Jang Geun Suk’s pictures in two different sets of textbooks.
In a third year, secondary textbook, Jang Geun Suk was introduced as an ‘oversea star that’s active in Japan’. The chapter was about international trading in globalization and cultural exchange.
A second netizen discovered Jang Geun Suk in a first year, secondary school textbook for English classes. This time Jang Geun Seuk was alongside other famous celebrities like Emma Watson and Lady Gaga.
Not only has Jang Geun Suk appeared in textbooks, but Japanese netizens have also discovered him in various comic books and anime.

A picture of JYJ member Jaejoong’s little sister was revealed recently on an online community board and has been attracting much attention.
Jaejoong’s mother, Oh Seojin, recently updated her Twitter page, and a netizen posted it on an online community board. In the post, Seojin wrote, "The youngest one decided to enter the theater department and is about to debut. We met a director yesterday, and today, we are going to eat with the station manager at Annex Hall in the KBS Building. He says he likes her pure image, but since she doesn’t know how to dress up, it seems like she’s falling behind the trend. I’m concerned."
Along with the post, a picture of Jaejoong’s sister was also revealed. It was initially uploaded on February 4th by her mother on Twitter. His sister shows well-defined features, and her flawless skin portrays an innocent image.

SMTOWN 2012 Meetup in Los Angeles

It's that time of the year again! SMTOWN brought their concert tour for the first time to California in 2010, performing a successful concert at the Staples Center. Last year, SMTOWN visited the East coast and performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
This year, SM Entertainment is bringing the 3rd round of the SMTOWN Live World Tour back to California, which will showcase their artists such as BoA, TVXQ, CJSH The Grace, Super Junior, Girl's Generation, SHINee, f(x), and their newly debuted act, EXO.
In 2010, Koreaboo held a fan meetup in conjunction with SMTOWN LA 2010, that saw 10 of the most recognized SM artists' international fansites participating, as well as over 3,000 fans attending.
On May 20th, Koreaboo will be holding yet another SMTOWN meetup prior to this year's concert in Anaheim with free shuttle service from the Anaheim Convention Center to the concert that will be held at the Honda Center.
International fan forums such as SHINee Forums International (SFI), SJ-World, DBSKnights, Chocolyn, Code EXO, and iheartfx among others are set to join the festivities and will provide SMTOWN fans with goodies in preparation for the concert.
Not only that, but Koreaboo will hold several contests, such as dancing and singing contests, and giveaways throughout the meetup.

On May 8th at 12:00AM (KST), JYP Entertainment launched a new website for the “JJ Project” at jjproject.jype.com along with an official Facebook Page and YouTube Channel. Additionally, a teaser video for the 1st Single Album “Slot Machine” was also revealed.
Although there’s no official word, one could assume that JJ could stand for JB and JR from Dream High 2.
