Good reviews are continuously coming up about actress Kim Tae-hee and her return drama.

On the 5th through "My Princess", Kim Tae-hee played tomboyish Lee Seol and showed to be lively and sophisticated.

In this drama she plays a determined role, working at a wedding part time and working at a school in the afternoon.

Viewers give her their highest compliments at the way she is carrying out the tomboy role so well in the drama she will lead along with actor Song Seung-heon.

During a recent interview, Big Bang’s G-Dragon and T.O.P were asked to pick members who had the most and least interest in women lately.

For the member who showed the most interest in the ladies lately, G-Dragon answered with a laugh, “All of them have interest in women, but Taeyang especially has been showing a lot of interest after singing ‘I Need A Girl.‘”

Taeyang’s well known in the Big Bang fandom to be shy and innocent, which contrasts with the sexy choreography he tends to perform on stage with girls. G-Dragon continued, “It feels like Taeyang has finally opened his eyes to the world of women. He never even used to go to locations where girls were present, but now he fits in well and is even in the center of discussion when conversing with them. It makes me feel so proud seeing him chat with girls.”

Meanwhile, T.O.P was asked to choose a member with the least interest, and he decided upon Seungri. He reasoned, “It feels like Seungri has lost interest in them since he’s well aware of his career as a celebrity.”

The duo were then asked about their ideal women, in which G-Dragon replied, “Someone that makes me feel comfortable upon first sight.” T.O.P answered, “A wise woman that handles herself well enough to express her unique charms.”

It's been a very long time since Shapleys have heard from CSJH The Grace Stephanie. She had to stop all activities at the beginning of 2010 due to a back injury and in mid 2010, the rest of the group went on with activities without her. Fans were not able to see her during the SMTOWN Live Concerts in 2010 either.

After going through rehab for her back injury and recovering, it was revealed that Stephanie had begun attending the Korean Arts University for ballet. Stephanie is known for her amazing ballet skills. With the encouragement of the school, she auditioned for "The Nutcracker" by the Los Angeles Ballet Association.

T-ara's Eunjung has unveiled four pictures taken during filming of KBS 2TV 'Dream High.'

Eunjung was sleeping in the restaurant and in a car, and someone managed to take pictures. The cute images of her were taken by Eunjung's manager and stylist.

Eunjung is busy promoting with T-ara, end of the year music and film awards, and has a leg injury, resulting in minimal sleeping time. Her rough schedules make her very tired, but leave her with no time to sleep.

The humiliating captures of Eunjung were due to her lack of sleep. While she was sleeping, her manager pulled a prank and put a vegetable in front of her face to create laughter.

Meanwhile, T-ara is busy promoting 'Yayaya' and 'Why Are You Like This' along with appearing in 'Dream High' which airs every Monday and Tuesday at 21:55.

JYJ Xiah Junsu’s recent series of ambiguous tweets have alarmed fans, as they may have been directed at TVXQ’s leader Yunho.

On December 6th, Xiah Junsu wrote on his Twitter, “Until now, I kept believing that it wasn’t true, I believed that (it) was the enemy of all five of us, but I guess it wasn’t really the enemy of all. To see that (they) expressed their gratitude to something I thought was both our enemies.. I guess a lot of things happened in the time we weren’t together. This is so tiring.”

He continued, “I keep wanting to think, hear, and see only good things, but it’s very hard to do that today. Even though we’ve been apart, you know that wasn’t right, hyung. We thought the same. Why are you being like this.”

In TVXQ’s ‘Thanks to’ section of their new album, Yunho expressed his gratitude towards SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man. Yunho also wrote, “Lastly~ You’ve been waiting a long time, right? Our Cassiopeia! I’m really really thankful that you waited for us to spring back. I heard this somewhere, but I heard it’s best to rest a bit before climbing a wider and taller mountain! Everyone~ Should we all hold each others’ hands tightly and climb up together? I’m so thankful, and thankful once more~ Lastly Changmin-ah~ You’d know even if I don’t say it, right? I love you! Additionally, Jaejoong was noted to have also changed his Twitter profile description to, “You keep your head up and keep an open mind”, and he tweeted, “I’m just hoping to be. I close my eyes, ears.” Many are speculating that these words were in reference to TVXQ’s comeback title track, “Keep Your Head Down.”

‘Chic-dols’ MBLAQ, who is making a comeback with their first full-length album, will be having their first fan-meeting on 9 January.

This coming fan-meeting will be held at the Dom Art Hall, which is in the Children’s Grand Park, Seoul, on the 9th, at 4pm. MBLAQ’s members will be having an anniversary cake-cutting ceremony, playing games and putting up their individual performances. MBLAQ is determined to put up a diversified stage for their fans, at their first fan-meeting.

A spokesperson from MBLAQ’s agency, J Tune Camp, has mentioned that “A variety of events have been prepared to make this to be an enjoyable fan-meeting” and “While MBLAQ’s members are busy with preparing for their first performance of their first full-length album’s title song, they have also made use of their spare time to practice their individual skills and performance.”

MBLAQ will be performing the title songs of their first full-length album, ‘BLAQ Style’, ‘Cry’ and ‘Stay’ for the very first time on that day.

MBLAQ’s first full-length album ‘BLAQ Style’, which received good response after ‘Cry’ was revealed on the 3rd, will be on sale both on and offline on 10 January onwards.

Actor Joo Ji-hoon signs with Bae Yong-joon agency

Actor Joo Ji-hoon has signed with top Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon-owned entertainment firm KEYEAST, according to the agency on Wednesday.

According to a press release by KEYEAST, Joo, who is currently serving in the army to fulfill Korea's two-year mandatory military duties, finalized a contract with the firm early this month ahead of resuming his acting career in November when he is set to be discharged.

KEYEAST said it plans to support Joo in his future activities both at home and overseas by cooperating with its Japanese subsidiary Digital Adventure (DA) as well as air various promotional events on Asian entertainment cable channel DATV.

KEYEAST manages the career of numerous famous actors and actresses including Kim Hyun-joong, Lee Na-young, Choi Kang-hee, Lee Bo-young, E Ji-ah, Hong Soo-hyun, Wang Ji-hye and So E-hyun.

Joo, 28, started out as a model and later became popular in Korea as well as China and Japan through his debut role in 2006 hit TV series “Goong.”

Since then he has starred in several other notable works including the drama “The Devil (KBS, 2007),” films “Antique Bakery (2008)” and “The Naked Kitchen (2009),” and musical “Don Juan (2009).”

He halted his career last April however, after receiving a six-month jail term suspended for a year along with 120 hours of community service for illegal drug use.

Weekly entertainment magazine “Ori★Star”’s OMR (Oricon Monitor Research) took a survey of 500 people (250 males, 250 females) to find the “Next Big Hit Ranking 2011”. KARA came in 1st and SNSD came in 2nd, the Korean girl groups are monopolizing the top spots. They took over the Japan music scene during the 2nd half of last year. In Oricon’s yearly total sales, they were the #1 and #2 newcomers. These 2 groups are building a firm position in Japan and in this survey they also are at the top.

3rd place went to AKB48’s sister group located in Nagoya, SKE48. 4th went to the techno rock unit Sakanaction. 5th went to flumpool, who does the theme song for the movie “Kimi ni Todoke”and who has appeared 2 years in a row on Kouhaku. 6th goes to the actress-singer Kuroki Meisa (22).

When it was revealed late October of last year that the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry (KFPCAI) had sent letters to the three major TV broadcasters as well as cable channels and Internet music portals in Korea requesting that they refrain from broadcasting JYJ and selling their album, “The Beginning,” the foremost question in most Koreans’ mind was, ‘What or who the hell is this KFPCAI?’ Korean DBSK fans managed to secure a copy of the letter and submitted it, along with a request to open a formal investigation into the matter, to the Korean Fair Trade Commission.

The reaction in DBSK’s international fandom reached levels of panic due to international fans’ unfamiliarity with the structural mechanisms of the Kpop industry. And so in the chaotic realm of Twittersphere and the gossip platforms of the Internet, they grabbed any Korean fan that happened to pass by in a desperate attempt to get clear answers. Is this KFC thing a government agency? Does it have an email? How can we contact it and ask them to retract the letter? Korean fans, unable to give a straightforward answer themselves, instead tried to do the next best thing and dropped the email contacts of several related Korean government branches as well as that of the Fair Trade Commission.

If the Korean government didn’t know about the KFPCAI before, it surely does now…for the first time. Because, as it turns out, KFPCAI is NOT a Korean government agency. And if that weren’t enough to put its legitimacy under question, the KFPCAI has none of the indicators of actually existing. It has no website, no email address, no physical address, and, upon calling the Korea Central Operator, it was easy to find out that it doesn’t even have a registered phone number. Finally, it doesn’t appear on Google Maps.

Piggy Dolls is a new girl group who recently debuted with the song “Trend,” on various music sites and they are gaining a lot of attention for their weight more than anything else…

All three members (Lee Ji-yeon, Kim Min-sun, and Park Ji-eun) collectively weight over 200kg (approximately 441 lbs).

Their song “Trend,” sends a message of self confidence with lyrics such as “‘Without worry, I say proudly,’ ‘What’s wrong with my body? You know my face, personality,’” showing how comfortable they are with their image.

When asked why they decided to debut, Jiyeon answered, “People tend to think skinny people are pretty these days. We want to show that we can be as confident and pretty with this weight. We would like to break the stereotype that only skinny people are pretty.”

B2ST has announced that they will be embarking on an encore run of their highly successful “B2ST Airline” concert!
The announcement was put up on the morning of January 6th through Cube Entertainment’s official homepage and through B2ST fancafes as well.
The concert was a huge success last year – it was hyped successfully through clever marketing, and the boys delivered impressive performances. It was even picked as the #1 concert music fans wanted to attend, according to a concert ticketing website.

Unfortunately, only 10,000 fans could attend the first concert, but B2ST plans to give fans another opportunity to catch the event through their Asian tour. Titled, “Welcome BACK to BEAST Airline“, the boys will kick off the tour with a two-day concert at Seoul’s Olympic Athletics Stadium on February 18th and 19th.

At the SBS competition corner, GDragon and TOP had appeared on the “court seats” to go against the comments, “I am not a cold city person” and “I am not the type of person who acts cool.

On this day, TOP revealed a situation when Daesung and Hyunseung were mad at Seungri before when the five members of Big Bang and the current BEAST member Jang Hyunseung shared dorms.

During the trainee days, the six people used to go eat Samgeupsal (Korean bacon) after practice and Daesung and Hyunseung were the members that always had to flip the meat as it cooked. However on one day, Daesung and Hyunseung had started to question why they were always the one to cook the meat while the youngest Seungri continued to eat. So after holding it in for several times, Daesung and Hyunseung had made up their mind to complain to Seungri. But after an unexpected word from Seungri, Daesung and Hyunseung’s plan turned into ashes.

However the problem arose that night. When everyone else had returned home, Hyunseung and Seungri ended up coming back to the dorm very late. While TOP, Jiyong, and Taeyang were waiting in worry, Seungri had walked in acting drunk, making the recording studio go wild with laughter.

The truth behind Seungri, Daesung, and Hyunseung’s Samgeupsal situation will be revealed on January 10th at 11:15 KST on SBS .

Israel aids South Korea's with missiles

Israel provided South Korea with advanced missiles to counter the many threats that the Asian republic faces from Pyongyang, Israeli daily newspaper Ma'ariv said in its Wednesday issue.

Tel Aviv indicated that it provided Seoul with Israeli-manufactured satellite-guided Durban missiles in the aftermath of the North Korean attack on the island of Yeonpyeong in the end of November.

The newspaper said that the South Korean army placed the missiles on the attacked island, adding that the missiles were dispersed as part of the efforts to fortify defences of the five islands located near the disputed maritime borders between the two states.

The paper also said that Israeli forces will deliver more of missiles of this kind to South Korea in order to help secure the latter's line of defence.

Israeli military sources said recently that the increased cooperation between Israel and South Korea came about with US coordination. The United States urged Tel Aviv to provide its ally in Seoul with the most advanced military technology in order to overcome the challenges from the north.

The sources say that Israeli decision makers expect political benefits from the initiative, such strengthening Israel's waning image, not to mention, the added profits from military exports.
