KARA is NO.1 For Next Big Hit

Weekly entertainment magazine “Ori★Star”’s OMR (Oricon Monitor Research) took a survey of 500 people (250 males, 250 females) to find the “Next Big Hit Ranking 2011”. KARA came in 1st and SNSD came in 2nd, the Korean girl groups are monopolizing the top spots. They took over the Japan music scene during the 2nd half of last year. In Oricon’s yearly total sales, they were the #1 and #2 newcomers. These 2 groups are building a firm position in Japan and in this survey they also are at the top.

3rd place went to AKB48’s sister group located in Nagoya, SKE48. 4th went to the techno rock unit Sakanaction. 5th went to flumpool, who does the theme song for the movie “Kimi ni Todoke”and who has appeared 2 years in a row on Kouhaku. 6th goes to the actress-singer Kuroki Meisa (22).

lol yeah. Hara is leaning over so she looks a lot shorter than Nicole here, even tho they Nicole is only a little bit taller. Looks so uneven here. They are sticking to this formation, even tho it would be more even if Hara and Nicole switched but that might look uncomfortable because Nicole and Seungyeon aren't touchy feely anymore.

It's kind of their standard formation that they've had since Honey promos. In Korea they tend to stick Hara/Seungyeon in the middle and/or Nicole if they're going with the sexy vibe. But in Japan I guess they decided to keep it consistent and go back to basics.

I really like how Gyuri's and Seungyeon's skirts line up. If Gyuri's hand wasn't in the way wasn't there to make her skirt a kajillion times better, it would also look like Nicole's skirt could line up.
