Park Jung Min drives SS501

SS501’s distinct member Park Jung Min claimed himself as the most influential person in the team.

During a recent interview for SBS News Korea’s Star Q-10, the idol revealed the truth behind rumors that although fellow member Kim Hyun Joong is the official leader, he is the “actual” leader. Regarding the rumor, Park Jung Min said, “I am better in terms of personality, charisma and driving force. The other members change their minds too often.” He then continued in a half-joking manner, “I’m sure you may have already noticed by now, but the actual main influential person in SS501 is me, Park Jung Min.”

On other news, multi-entertainer Park Jung Min was said to have recently opened an online shopping mall as a CEO. He has also gained attention for his fluent language skills in Japanese and learning skills in Chinese.

B2Y releases Be Crazy MV teaser

After debuting last August as a mixed gender group, B2Y comprising of 2 female vocals, Nara and Licca, and 2 male vocals, Han Yeon and Jin Woong, it has gone a bit quiet for this group from Loen Entertainment.

So fans were a bit surprised when a teaser for their apparent comeback title track, Be Crazy was released recently. Not much else has surfaced about this, but we should be expecting to see their comeback pretty soon with their new image.

Epik High Tablo speaks up about allegations of fake degree.
Woollim Entertainment said on 9th June, “We have recently received verifications from Stanford University of his graduation. With the reveal of the verifications, all the criticisms and allegations against his education background will be put to an end.”
The agency is currently in discussions on how they will reveal the evidence and verifications, either through press conference or through their homepage.
The agency added, “We know that many are trying to prove Tablo’s innocence with the fact that he was the president of college alumni. Even though we had let the matter pass everytime such criticism and allegations arose, but this time the situation got really bad which is why we had come out personally to clear up the matter. We will do our best to prove the criticisms wrong this time and make sure that no such thing will happen again.”

F. Cuz is going to Taiwan!

Korean group F.cuz have suddenly announced that they will be having a fan meeting (tickets are now on sale at www.g-music.iticket.com.tw) at in Taiwan on June 20th.

While F.cuz attended the special interview session at Macau along with the other artists from Seed Music, they have told the reporters that they are anticipating their trip to Taiwan at the end of the month, but their manager have told them that they will probably be banned from eating any "good" food, because they want F.cuz to be on a diet mode so they can lose more weight. Their Taiwan management company Seed Music have already called out to the fans and told them not to spend money on sending or preparing food for F.cuz while they're at Taiwan, especially Bubble Milk Tea, because they're scared that F.cuz might not be able to resist the temptation and break their strict diet.

Sleek dance moves and tight bods drew fervent screams from the fans for the Korean men in black who performed for an hour on Sunday. Due to a packed schedule, Super Junior were in Singapore for only eight hours.

It was only a year ago that Rain was overwhelmed after winning a trophy at an awards ceremony which looked a lot like the MTV Video Music Awards. Of course, it was a television commercial for a Korean mobile telephone company. When Rain gave his acceptation speech at the fully-packed venue amidst the applause from the crowd, the sight looked so unattainable that it felt like "a miracle" or "a fictional news event." But this young man, who claims that "a miracle is something you create, not something somebody hands you," has eventually grabbed that very dream in his hand. Instead of uttering some unknown magic words, Rain endured extremely demanding, five-hours-a-day training sessions and kept on running like "a tiger on the verge of starving to death" to make it to the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. At the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, 10Asia met with Rain -- a man who, like his name, exudes a freshness to the desert-adjacent, hot city of Los Angeles.

BEAST to release a new album in August?

Last month the boys of BEAST ended their promotions for their second mini album Shock of the New Era, taking a much needed break from the music scene. Well for the fans anticipating their return, it seems you don’t have to wait too long.

Earlier today, BEAST appeared on SBS’s Cultwo Show and Doojoon revealed some insight for their next album release. He stated, “Not in July… but currently it seems we’re going to release our next album some time in August. Please wait patiently, we’re going to show you something good.”

Back in April we reported that ZE:A was fielding suggestions for their official fan club name.

On April 26th, they revealed the top 10 nominees for the potential fan club name. After a long voting process, it’s been decided that the official fan club name will be ZE:A’S or ZE:A’ STYLE. This was announced via an image posted on their daum cafe.

Bae Yong-joon's agency denies signing Kim Hyun-joong

Bae Yong-joon's agency KEYEAST has denied recent rumors that they have signed with singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong.

In a phone call with Asia Economic Daily on Monday, an official at KEYEAST dismissed such reports as "groundless" and said that they "have not signed with Kim Hyun-joong."

Several media reports had claimed that Kim, whose contract with agency DSP Entertainment expired yesterday, signed an exclusive management contract with Bae's agency.

Last month, it was reported that Kim and Bae had a private meeting, which some people thought hinted at their future partnership. At the time, DSP downplayed the rumor, saying it was only a personal meeting between Kim and Bae, a close friend and mentor figure to the young star.

There was even talk that the pop idol was likely to sign with an agency which recently signed on three TVXQ members -- Hero Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu and Micky Yoochun -- who are currently embroiled in a legal battle with major talenthouse SM Entertainment.

Kim, 23, is the leader of boy band SS501, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005. The singer has also done some acting work, most notably in the smash hit drama "Boys Over Flowers" last year alongside actors Lee Min-ho and Ku Hye-sun.

Talent Goo HyeSun reveals that she wants to introduce friend of same age 2NE1 Sandara Park to SS501 Kim HyunJoong.

On KBS 2TV WinWin aired on 8th June, Sandara Park was surprise guest on the show. Sandara Park has revealed on the show, “My personality is such that I’m not one to speak first. Actually when Goo HyeSun was filming drama Boys Over Flowers, I had wanted her to introduce me to others, but I couldn’t bring myself to say it.”

MC Kim ShinYoung then asked, “Who do you want to be introduced to?” And she answered, “All of them are cool…” Goo HyeSun then said, “All F4 members like Sandara Park very much. Let’s wait and see.”

Sandara Park then said, “This is a secret from president (Yang HyunSeok)” the comment had the other star appearances in laughter.

And when asked which F4 member she wants to introduce Sandara Park to, Goo HyeSun answered “Kim HyunJoong”. Sandara Park then commented, “JiHoon seonbae is cool.”

Meanwhile, on the show, Goo HyeSun who was almost was casted to be in group 2NE1, performed the song ‘Fire’ with Sandara Park.

Singer Rain picks Lee Hyori as the best female solo singer.

Rain was on MBC Golden Fishery aired on 9th June when he was asked what he think of Lee Hyori as a member of the opposite gender and his answer was, “She is like a noona.”

Rain, “I think of her as the best female singer of our country.” MC Shin JungHwa then teased him with the question, “Do you think that she and Um JungHwa are of the same level?” which had everyone in the studio bursting in laughter.

Yesterday, we reported about the movie premiere (OMONA article yesterday) of 71-Into the Fire starring Kwon Sang Woo, Cha Seung Won, Kim Seung Woo, Big Bang’s T.O.P. and many more.

Other than the many stars who attended, there were some like Big Bang, 2NE1, Jang Dong Gun and BoA who were also there but had evaded the press photographers lying in wait outside the cinema doors.

Korean newspapers are reporting that pop megastar Rain and classic hallyu actress Jeon Ji Hyun have  been dating since last October.  The paparazzi have been staking out Jeon Ji Hyun's apartment complex in Samsung-dong, located three minutes away from Rain's home, and are claiming that Rain has been visiting her for months, often wearing complete motorcycle gear so that he would be unnoticed.  The apartment complex, called iPark Apartments, is the most expensive in Korea and is inaccessible to visitors, but the apartment security has confirmed that Rain has obtained an access card and has been able to enter the complex for months.  Sources confirm that the night before Rain attended the MTV Movie Awards, where he won the award for the Biggest Badass Star, he stayed at iPark Apartments.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon has showed off his flexibility and a unique Y with his lower
body.

On Shindong and Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Ta Pa’s bulletin board on their website,
pictures of MBLAQ were uploaded from when they were guests.

A couple of the pictures showed Lee Joon doing a split in the air. His legs made
a very wide Y sign. Not only did it promote their song, but he looks pretty
funny.

Seungho stepped in to cover Lee Joon’s sensitive body part. I know Seungho was
trying to help out Lee Joon but it looks a bit awkward and weird.

Hot on the heels of the recent news reports that pop star Rain and actress Jeon Ji Hyun have been dating for months, Rain has released a statement denying any relationship.  In addition, his associates have confirmed his plans to sue Daily Sports Seoul, the newspaper which released paparazzi photos of him and Jeon Ji Hyun standing outside her apartment complex. 

"My conscience is clear and I have nothing to fear," said Rain during a telephone interview with Daily Hankook.  "Daily Sports Seoul has been spying on me for a year.  They claim that they have concrete evidence.  I ask them to show me this evidence."  He also stated that he has only met Jeon Ji Hyun a few times.

He also explained that the Cartier "couples ring" he had been photographed wearing was actually a "family ring" also worn by his father and brother.  "I'll display our family rings on my Twitter," said Rain.  At this time, Rain has not confirmed having an official Twitter account.
