 To give more exposure to this relatively unknown group, here's a post to figure out the members before their debut.



They recently were guests on Yo Girls' Diary (a show about make-overs - the previous episode had U-KISS as guests) where two of the MCs are Nine Muses members.


In this clip they introduce themselves with their "introduction" title.

정서영 Jung Seoyoung -- The 2nd Go So-young (Jang Dong-gun's wife)   (featured in V.O.S.'s Trouble)

바이올렛 Violet -- Goddess of Energy

이린 Lee Irin (romanized as Lynn) -- Dazzling Fresh Face

이비니 Lee Bini -- Self-proclaimed Visual In-charge

표혜미 Pyo Hyemi -- Eye Smile

류세라 Ryu Sera -- Charisma Leader

박민하 Park Minha -- Maknae   (featured in ZE:A's All Day Long)

김라나 Kim Rana/Lana -- Eldest unnie

이샘 Lee Isaem (romanized as Sam) -- Smart Brain In-charge   (featured in T-Max's Joon's Jun Be OK)




The group is known for being very tall (average height is 171 cm 5'7", the shortest one is 169 cm (5'6.5" which is basically a 7" if you round it up)) and the youngest member is already 18, so no jailbaits in this group. The oldest member is 26.

Kim Rana/Lana: 26
Lee Bini: 24/25/26 (not sure yet)
Lee Sam: 23
Jung Seoyoung: 22/23 (not sure yet)
Ryu Sera: 22
Lee Lynn: 22
Violet: 21
Pyo Hyemi: 18/19 (not sure yet)
Park Minha: 18/19 (not sure yet)

They're also known for their modeling experience. One of them (Sam) was the winner of the first Asia-Pacific Supermodel contest. That's just one of many modeling achievements. 


Their debut is supposed to be in the month of July.

Excited for their debut. Don't let me down girls. Though honestly, I have no high expectations... Rainbow, T-ara, and Sistar all disappointed me with their debuts.

I could care less that their ages and heights are different from other idol groups, talent is what I'm looking for. Thankfully I already saw some clips of their performance and they were all good. Will judge more after they release something.

Sistar had the perfect debut, they are amazing live !!! Coming from an unknown agency and being brand new, their debut blew me away and now I'm a huge fan.

T-ara's debut sucked though, the playbacking and whatnot. Thank god they released an amazing full album which made up for everything.

And even though I love Rainbow, they could've done with a better debut song too.

Anyway ... I've been looking forward to Nine Muses for a while now, I love my girlbands. I'm rooting for them~

are idol groups that profitable? ive always thought korea's tiny ass market was over-saturated as it is. must be the notoriously unfair contracts where they can work their talents to the bone, house them in basements, and pay them pennies in return.

Yep, her real name is Park Eunji, and that's her dancing with Hangeng. :]

Yeah, her real name is Jaekyung, but she's been called Seoyoung too in other promotions. We'll just have to wait on what name they'll decide on. :

I like how they introduce themselves. Ugh I can't wait. I love how they are all over the age of 18 at least. Never too old to enter the industry. I like the leader she is the only one I can recognize right now.

OT but what's the title of the song they dance to in the beginning of the DC video? blah blah blah "say what you don't know to me" I've heard this many times on the radio and I always fail to find out what song that is because it's the type of music I wouldn't give a f. about before getting into kpop. lol

That's an OST track they did for Prosecutor Princess, and it's actually good in comparison to most OST tracks. =3=
