The widely followed Jay Park is back and better than ever with his sixth Youtube video, and fans of music, breakdancing and Jay in general are going to love this one – we get to enjoy a collection of his most recent bboy battles (around four minutes) and hear him talk about his official fanclub name (another four minutes) and then listen to him “cover” Taylor Swift (two minutes) to add up to a nearly ten minute long video!
Breakdancing aficionados get a good taste of this bboy’s skills and his creative improv style. It’s pretty incredible to see Jay doing all sorts of tricks, from sweeping the floor with his head (1:08) to bouncing everywhere with flips and twists (3:51).
After the collection of videos, Jay sat down (check out his FIFA World Cup shirt – yay for patriotism!) for an improv talk about his official fanclub name. Fans rocked the vote last month and the results are in: Jay Park’s fanclub has been officially titled Jay Effect, and each member is called a Jaywalker! Confused? As you may recall, the performer opened an online poll for worldwide fans to participate in last month, and Bumblebee led the race with nearly 40% of the votes. “What if I have guy fans?… I’m sure a guy doesn’t want to be called a Bumblebee,” Jay mused. “[So] I want each fan to be individually called the Jaywalker.” Collectively, the fanclub will be titled the Jay Effect, and the colors currently stand as black & yellow to fit the “bumblebee” concept.
To cheer up any fans that might’ve been disappointed with the new fanclub name, Jay ended the video with an amusing parody of Taylor Swift’s You Belong To Me and… well, that speaks for itself, doesn’t it?

The movie 'Hype Nation,' which is gathering interest because of former 2PM member Jaebeom's role in it, has revealed the candidates for the female lead.
On the 10th, the producer of 'Hype Nation' revealed the 7 candidates for the role of Jaebeom's little sister in the film.

With the news of Shin Hyesung making a comeback through his Tokyo concert, everyone is curious as to what the other members in military service have been up to.
Andy is now serving with the PR Support Unit in the Defense Media Agency, while Eric, Kim Dongwan, Junjin and Lee Minwoo are all currently serving as public service officers.
Amongst them, Andy and Eric have been working on grooming newcomers even though they are currently in military service.
In particular, Andy had held an open audition titled ‘Andy’s Choice!’ last year, and formed from the open audition, the new boyband Teen Top, is set to make their debut soon. Though Andy is serving his military duties, when he has time he would help out with the preparations for their debut and their training. As a 6-member boy band, Teen Top will debut this summer and their debut process will be featured on an upcoming reality show on MTV.
Eric, who’s due to be discharged from the army this fall, has also featured in the debut track of newcomer female duo Honey Dew.
Kim Dongwan has been honing his photography skills and often interacts with fans by posting his photos – very much of professional standards – on his personal blog.

T-ara SoYeon reveals that she has envy towards So Nyeo Shi Dae.
Recently on cable channel tvN talk show ‘Taxi’, T-ara members were featured and SoYeon said, “When I look at So Nyeo Shi Dae while promoting as T-ara, I have felt envy. When I first debuted, the cheers I have when I perform on stage and the attitude of the staff compared to when I performed with So Nyeo Shi Dae are different and I am envious. I thought to myself if T-ara can be successful quickly, it would be good.”
Meanwhile, SoYeon used to train under SM Entertainment and was also casted to be in So Nyeo Shi Dae but she left the group.
The show is set to air on 10th June at 12 midnight.

George Sampson, a street dancer from Manchester and winner of Britain's Got Talent said that he would like to challenge Jaebum in a dance contest.
During the interview, Sampson stated, "Jaebum, I've heard you are amazing, the best in Korea. I would love maybe one day we just have a friendly dance battle. The best of England against the best of Korea." He also added in Korean, "Jaebum, let's meet right now."
Samspon, now 16 had high praises not only for Jaebum, but for other Korean b-boy dancers as well calling them "the best in the world."
He is currently visiting Korea to promote the upcoming dance movie StreetDance 3D.
On another note, Jaebum is also scheduled to fly back to Korea on June 14 to start filming his upcoming dance movie Hype Nation. However, something came up in New York so his flight had to be pushed back to an unknown date. Jaebum is set to play the male lead and the female lead has yet to be announced.

On the 10th, Korean 9-membered “beautiful legs” group SNSD announced their full-blown Japanese advancement. They plan to hold their first concert in since arriving in Japan on August 25th at the Tokyo Ariake Coliseum, which holds 10,000 people. In September, they plan to release their Japanese debut single. SNSD follows other performers like 4 Minute and KARA which have also came to Japan this year, more and more star performers are appearing.

Speculated, anyway. It’s been too long since we’ve seen the Greek god of abs, and he’s currently working on his second solo effort. But when, Taeyang, when? Sources have been spreading the date of June 25 among YG fans. But with two weeks to go, and no promotion in sight, it would seem odd to release it that early. Eva Popiel marries Korean boyfriend

Eva’s boyfriend is a recreational sports coach. The lovebirds met, and subsequently fell in love, while on one of their outings. Yes, sparks flew while they were…water skiing!
In one of her previous interviews, Eva (28) said: “I used to think I wasn’t suitable for dating Korean men, but I changed my mind after meeting my boyfriend.”
The couple has already registered their marriage, but their wedding ceremony will only be held in October.

The first sub-unit of After School, consisting of members Nana, Raina, and Lizzy, will debut soon. Their tracklist along with an additional photo was revealed.
After having just revealed concept photos for each member, it looks like this sub-unit will be debuting with a cutesy concept. Their tracklist was released via YesAsia, to which a new photo (above) was also released. The tracklist for their first mini-album Orange Caramel is as follows:
1. Magic Girl 마법소녀
2. Love Does Not Wait (Raina’s solo song)
3. Magic Girl (instrumental)
4. Love Does Not Wait (instrumental)
Their title song will be Magic Girl, which will be promoted through music shows and promotional activities. Track #2, Love Does Not Wait, is Raina’s solo song which is actually a remake of M2M’s The Day You Went Anyway. Magic Girl will have a cheerful, retro-style feel and was produced by Cho Young Soo (producing songs for SeeYa, SG Wannabe, MC Mong, Seo In Young, V.O.S, Navi, 4minute, and more!)

A trainee from JYP Entertainment has been garnering much interests from netizens lately.
Recently photos of this trainee taken together with the JYP singers were posted and circulated on various online community sites, and is of hot issue amongst the netizens.

Amid tough job market conditions, jobseekers are increasingly considering getting plastic surgery to enhance their competitiveness.
According to a survey of 1,090 jobseekers by Saramin, a job market information portal, three out of 10 people said they are planning to get plastic surgery to improve their chances of getting a job.
"Most college students have good qualifications these days as they prepare thoroughly for employment. Since resumes make little difference, impressions they give on interviewers matter more than before," said Kim Byung-gun, a plastic surgeon at BK Dong Yang Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Information on the plot has been pretty scant till now, describing his character simply as a hermit who comes out into the world in order to help rescue a kidnapped girl. Watching the trailer, however, really gets the dark thriller vibe across.
The trailer: The young girl is his neighbor and starts by asking, “Ajusshi, are you really a gangster?” He asks the girl if he looks like a bad person to her, and she answers with a little laugh, “It’s just that it seems like jail would suit you.” The onscreen title reads, “They shouldn’t have messed with him” as he launches into a series of violent fights, and then adds, “His one and only friend… called him ajusshi.” Hence the significance of the title. As the trailer closes, he says, “Even if I find her… you two are dead.”
