Big Bang member Daesung's high school life will be revealed in "The Secret Star - Big Bang episode".

Although he is funny in variety shows and on performances, Daesung was the quite the opposite a couple of years back. He was a student who couldn't even make eye-contact as he was very shy and timid. Daesung's parents were against him being a singer although he proved himself worthy in interviews and broadcasts.

Daesung's vocal teacher, who taught him in 1st year of highschool, commented, "Other teachers thought he wouldn't pass the audition because of his looks but I knew he had potential so I didn't give up on him."

His audition video, how he was able to become an idol, his dream as a student, and stories of Daesung before his debut - all will be revealed.

2NE1 to end promotions with ‘In The Club’ performance on Inkigayo on 13th September

Group 2NE1 will perform a new song ‘In The Club’ on SBS Inkigayo on 13th September.

Last week on 6th September, the girls showed us another great performance with ‘Pretty Boy’ after moving on from the title song ‘I Don’t Care’ off their 1st minialbum. And tomorrow on Inkigayo they will perform a new song ‘In The Club’ on stage.

The performance on Inkigayo will have a setting like that a club for the performance. But with the performance, they will also end promotions to work on their new album.

YG Entertainment said on the 12th, “The girls will end promotions with their performances on ‘Inkigayo’. As compared to resting, the girls will go back to training and prepare for their next album.”

Great MC Park Kyunglim has said to Kangin, her close hoobae and favorite dongsaeng that if he weren't a singer, he would become a swindler.

On the show KBS Drama Human network "Super Junior's Miracle" with the guests are Tiara, Kangin had done a magic of moving the flowers in front of everybody to choose a member from Tiara to make a couple with him. Kangin with his magic performance had moved a flower and made it come out from Tiara's magnae Jiyeon's bag but in fact, Kangin had put a flower in her bag beforehand.

After the magic performance, Kangin had waited for her hot reaction but everybody just gave him banter. They confessed that they had told Jiyeon Kangin's secret before, thus making Kangin loose confidence and make people in the filming scene laughing. MC Park Kyunglim said "If Kangin werent a singer, he could become a swindler"

Also, when Jiyeon expressed her problem "Although I'm team's magnae but I don't look like one", Kangin said "It's OK because it's only you who have charm, so would you like to meet (see/date) me?" thus expressing his bold proposal to Jiyeon.

The show will be aired at 8.00PM on September 12th.

Group Big Bang member TOP reveals a shocking piece of his past.

TOP, who is known for his flawless appearance and charisma, was at one point in time obese, and which he wishes to hide it. Before debut, TOP has lost about 20kg in just 40 days. A teacher who used to teach TOP during his high school 3rd year said, “In that 40 days, TOP came to school and for his pants, he can fit in 2 more people.”

 

He also talked about the truth as being an underground rapper. TOP used to be an underground rapper in HongDae area. But there has been debates amongst fans that “there is no such person called TOP in HongDae area”, “Not HongDae, but TOP raps in Itaewon” etc.

A friend who used to make demo tapes to audition for YG Entertainment with TOP said, “Usually he jokes a lot, and even acts foolishly on many times but that’s Choi Seung Hyun. When you talk about music, you will be surprised at his knowledge of songs, and that there will be surprising times to find that he had known and memorised so much about music.”

Park Chan Chong, “Fully Agrees and Supports TVXQ’s Fanclub”

TVXQ’s fanclub had exposed SM Entertainment's inhuman contract with TVXQ through advertisements on the newspaper. Regarding this, Mr. Park Chan Chong (former governor) stated that he “fully supports and agrees” with them.

Mr. Park expressed, “Our government has the responsibility to arrest those who make mistakes. This should be settled through the rule of law, to prove a democratic society.”

Last 4th of August, Mr. Park had commented on the lawsuit issue between TVXQ and SM Entertainment, “On the basics of slave contracts, it had violated ‘Defraud’ (Article 348 of the Constitution) and ‘Inappropriate income’ (Article 349 of the Constitution)."

"TVXQ’s fanclub focused on the ‘slave contract’ in the lawsuit, to submit the petition to the Seoul Central Court.

On top of that, they also raised funds and collected signatures. To date, over 190k of signatures have been collected, of which 70k came from the online petition and 120k from the offline petition."

Civil servants and governors stated that the government should supervise this incident. Last year, they had stopped all the awful and offensive comments by the “Choi Jin-sil Law.” Now, it's time to stop these inhuman acts from agency companies by the “TVXQ Law.”

At the moment, TVXQ cannot have events in Korea, but they are going to hold a concert in China, which upset the fans, especially with the cancellation of the concert that was scheduled on the 9th of August with unacceptable reason. Fans had submitted a request of compensation to the Korean Consumer Agency, for SM Entertainment to compensate 10% of the cost of sold tickets.

However, it’s the first time that concert was cancelled due to a lawsuit issue, therefore, the Korea Consumer Agency has to make a decision with caution.

Mr. Park expressed that “Request for compensation is possible” and this, by any chance, might result in (SM Entertainment who violates the law) into difficulties. Lastly, he said, “I hope that TVXQ can hold their concerts in Korea in the near future, and meet their fans.”

SNSD's Sunny, dizzy performance of 'Titanic' on a 7-meter excavator

SNSD's Sunny acted a scene from the movie 'Titanic' on a heavy extra-large excavator.

In the most recent recording session of SBS 'Surprising Tournament StarKing', Sunny presented a romantic and dizzy love scene along with a male dancer on the hand of a 7-meter excavator.

After finishing with the risky performance, Sunny commented she enjoyed it. "I've presented my dance, my singing and my talents in every kind of variety programs but this is the first time in my life that I do a show in the air, standing on a excavator."

In particular, the 3-ton extra-large excavator caused a mobilization by imitating a person's hand, pouring wine and cutting a cake to SNSD. It also caught attention by giving a special supper as a present.

SNSD, who finished their 2nd Mini-Album promotions, toasted with each other with the poured wine by the excavator and enjoyed their 'Last Supper' gracefully. The show will be broadcasted on the 12th, 6:30PM.

SHINee, Kara and Paran’s Ryan to perform in Thai-Korea Friends Concert

The first ever Thai-Korea Friends Concert will be held on the 17th of September with KARA, SHINee and Paran's Ryan performing for Korea.

As part of the second Thailand Entertainment Expo, the concert will be held in Bangkok's Parc Paragon, featuring popular artists from Korea and Thailand. Golf&Mike, Namcha, and Ice will be performing for Thailand, while KARA will spend their first time in Thailand representing Korea along with SHINee and Ryan, who are all very popular in Thailand.

With the concert to be broadcasted on Thailand's True Vision, officials of the event are delighted to see the first ever collaboration of the two nations' pop cultures.

Jung Il Woo & Kim Bum returns for cameos in High Kick Through the Roof

Actor and heartthrob Kim Bum, who was filming for SBS Dream, revealed in an interview that Kim Byung Woo PD made a love call to both him and Jung Il Woo and had asked them to be cameos in season 2 High Kick Through the Roof.

For those of you who don't know by now, the new sitcom, which has been broadcasting for only a week now, is a season 2 from the old "Unstoppable High Kick!" in 2006.

Whether or not the two will carry on the same roles from Unstoppable High Kick! is still unsure, as their roles as cameos have not been discussed yet.

When asked "Would you like to try a sitcom again?", Kim Bum answered, "The genre of sitcom is very attractive. If I had the chance, I would like to try it again. The sitcom's filming place has this atmosphere, where you get this feeling of overreacting to try to be funny. I sometimes want to feel that kind of atmosphere again."

On a side note, with his hard effort and even losing 8kg from half a month of filming Dream, Kim Bum revealed his sorrow for the poor ratings of his drama. He commented, "I'm disappointed from the low viewers rating, but people around me gave good reviews of the drama itself so it's ok."

F(x)'s Krystal reveals the difference between her and Jessica

f(x)'s Krystal displayed her love for her older sister Jessica.

Krystal met with a reporter on the 11th while in a waiting room at the KBS New Building in Yeouido, Seoul for KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank'. She said, 'My sister came in person to cheer me on for my first broadcast performance.' She smiled while saying, "She gave me a lot of advice.'

Krystal continued by saying, 'Immediately after our pre-recorded performance, she came to our waiting room and wiped the sweat off of me. She had a worried expression on her face while she was wiping off the sweat and told me, 'Your expression isn't good. Work harder on it.' I was very thankful to her.'

She also said, 'I'm very close to my sister. It seems like we can read each other's minds. We often think of similar things, even though we're at different locations. Our personalities, though, are a little different. My sister is feminine, while I am a little more easygoing. I feel very secure thanks to my sister. I haven't been able to see her that often recently, but our feelings for each other are the same as always.'

SNSD's Jessica gathered attention by visiting the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Kyungkido on the 5th. She was present at f(x)'s 'Music Core' pre-recorded performance in order to cheer for Krystal.

f(x)'s debut song is 'LA chA TA', which was produced by Kenzie. It is a pop dance song that combines the feel of electronica with the groove of hip-hop. The song's message is to 'enjoy life', and it charms listeners with its witty lyrics and cheerful melody.

A group of U.S. and Japanese porn companies will re-file a lawsuit next week against Korean uploaders, their legal representative here said yesterday, accusing the country of holding a double standard in investigating copyright violations of local and foreign material.

Some 50 foreign firms sued 10,000 Korean Internet users in July for uploading their adult material onto local Web sites, but prosecutors limited their investigation to those confirmed to have uploaded content more than three times. Only 10 were punished.

The porn companies said they will re-file with a list of 65,000 netizens who fit Seoul’s investigation criteria, the agency said.
