T-Max,
comprised of members Kim Joon, Shin Minchul, Joo Chanyang and Park Hanbi, is currently on its way to disbandment as Minchul and Chanyang have left the group’s agency, Planet905. Kim Joon, who became the most popular member with his appearance on Boys over Flowers, is currently serving his military duties as a conscripted policeman after enlisting on September 29.

T-Max was previously embroiled in rumors of disbandment just as Kim Joon was due to enlist. The group quelled the rumors by releasing a new song titled "She’s Crying" on September 27, just two days before his enlistment. Despite the efforts, the group will be disbanding as the activities of the other members have decreased with the enlistment of Kim Joon. Minchul’s contract had already expired at the point of Kim Joon’s enlistment. Planet 905 did not extend its contract with Minchul. An official stated: “Shin Minchul is currently preparing solo activities, and Joo Chanyang is looking for different ways to work with music, not as a singer.Park Han Bi is currently known to still be with the agency. T-Max made its debut in 2007, and became popular as Kim Joon became a success with his role in Boys over Flowers. At the time of its debut, T-Max was a trio with Kim Joon, Shin Minchul and Park Yunhwa, but the group came to have four members as Yunhwa left the group and Chanyang and Hanbi were brought in. T-Max released hits such as the Boys over Flowers OST "Paradise" and "Don’t be Rude".

Singer and actor, Kim Joon, has been accepted to the ‘global culture content’ graduate program at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

On December 21st, the university revealed, “Kim Joon has applied to our graduate school for the 2011 spring semester as a global culture contents major.“ Starting March 2011, Kim Joon will be studying to earn his master’s degree.

Kim Joon previously made headlines for getting into the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies as a life chemistry major, without being given any preferential treatment for his celebrity status. However, because he was unable to attend classes due to his busy schedule for “Boys Over Flowers“, the singer re-applied to the school’s cyber program in 2009 as a Japanese major, and has been consistently studying since then.

A representative of his agency commented, “Kim Joon has taken an interest in spreading Korean culture after he was able to meet with various international fans. He wants to study the production of Hallyu culture content and its spread on a deeper level.”

His group, T-Max, is currently preparing for their comeback album, set for the first half of 2011.

Former member of idol group T-Max, Park Yunhwa, will be entering the military on November 16th as an active-duty soldier.

He stated, “I’m glad to be able to validate myself as a healthy Korean man through my entrance into the military. I had the opportunity to delay it due to my studies, but I’d rather go in early and mature myself. I still haven’t shown a lot of what I’m capable of, but I’ll return with deeper music in two years.”

Park Yunhwa debuted in 2007 with T-Max’s “Blooming“, but left the group earlier this year before the release of their first official album.

For the performance/individual fee in "million won" really means in "ten thousand won" which is how they usually count money in.

6000 = 60million won  which converts to 51,509 dollars (US)

Multi-talented star Ku Hye-sun has given fans an update on her recent activities, revealing a photograph of herself with members of boy band T-Max.

Earlier today, Ku uploaded a photo on her official Twitter site (http://twitter.com//koohs) where she is seen sporting a shorter hairstyle and donning a shirt written T-MAX with the band's members Kim Jun and Shin Min-chul.

She added a comment saying, "I'm currently at the 'Boys Over Flowers' reunion in Japan. I'm going to play baseball wearing the T-MAX t-shirt that Jun gave me as a present. I think that I'll have to wear it on my way back to Korea too."

"Boys Over Flowers," originally a popular Japanese comic series, became a hit series when it first aired in Korea last January. The show drew in a huge audience in the neighboring Asian countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

The cast members including Ku, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum and Kim Jun were invited for the "Boys Over Flowers" reunion which was held in Osaka two days ago and in Tokyo on August 21.

Having made their comeback with "Don’t Be Rude", the boys of T-Max have recently switched songs and started promoting ballad track "Words That I Can Say" (as seen last week on M! Countdown).

Their stage outfits have also been revamped to accompany the soft ballad song as seen above, showing their professional and stunning side.

T-Max’s agency Planet 905 stated, "T-Max will now reveal their sweet and gentle image to fans, and it should blend perfectly."

Netizens commented, "The change from Don’t Be Rude is huge, but their new style is much better,” and “Now they perfectly match to their song."

RIP, Minchul's dreads.
