2NE1 to end promotions with ‘In The Club’ performance on Inkigayo on 13th September

Group 2NE1 will perform a new song ‘In The Club’ on SBS Inkigayo on 13th September.

Last week on 6th September, the girls showed us another great performance with ‘Pretty Boy’ after moving on from the title song ‘I Don’t Care’ off their 1st minialbum. And tomorrow on Inkigayo they will perform a new song ‘In The Club’ on stage.

The performance on Inkigayo will have a setting like that a club for the performance. But with the performance, they will also end promotions to work on their new album.

YG Entertainment said on the 12th, “The girls will end promotions with their performances on ‘Inkigayo’. As compared to resting, the girls will go back to training and prepare for their next album.”

Good, they've almost overstayed things this first time around... they need to get while the getting is good (before Muzik gains real traction, Tae comes back, and After School kills 'em all, so that when they do return, the buzz and anticipation will be genuinely for 2NE1 and not just because they are the newest idol group.

Not sure if Kush is all that good with upbeat songs though. 'Stay Together' was by Kush on 2NE1's album and 'She's Gone' was his composition on G-Dragon's album. I like more downbeat or sad/angry/angsty songs myself, so I hope there is more Kush on 2NE1's album than Teddy. LOL

Actually all the 2NE1's upbeat songs are by Teddy and songs with some downbeat have some Kush:

If I remember right GD had like full album's worth songs composed for 2NE1, which were supposed to be on this fall album, but of course nobody knows if they have been scrapped by now.

I'm kinda disappointed as I wanted to see them perform 'Let's go party' and 'Stay Together'. And I really hope they haven't thrown G-Dragon's songs for 2NE1 into trash can because the whole plagiarism controversy as I don't want any half assed album, because YG composers didn't have time to do it properly.
