On February 11, Minhwan posted the following on Instagram:

"Hello, this is Minhwan.
Today, February 11, was the due date of our Ddo twins! Ddoya was born at 9:18 a.m. and Ddoddoya at 9:19 a.m. in good health!
My wife is also recovering strongly!
I still cannot believe that I am the father of three children, but I will work even harder to live a more beautiful life with our children!
Thank you so much to everyone who has shown support!!"

Ddoya and Ddoddoya are nicknames that they used for the babies prior to their birth. As revealed previously, the twins are daughters.

Seungri and Yang Hyun Suk were indicted on charges of mediating prostitution services, habitual gambling, and violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act. and Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon have also been indicted on additional charges.

FTISLAND's bassist Lee Jaejin begins enlistment

FTISLAND’s Lee Jae Jin is beginning his military service!

On January 21, FNC Entertainment released a statement confirming that he has enlisted. Following Lee Hong Ki‘s enlistment in September 2019, Lee Jae Jin revealed in December that he would be the second FTISLAND member to enlist in the military.

FNC Entertainment’s full statement is provided below:

Hello, this is FNC Entertainment.

On January 21, FTISLAND member Lee Jae Jin was admitted to Cheorwon Army 3rd Division’s recruit training center in Gangwon Province.

Lee Jae Jin shared his final farewell with fans near the military camp in the afternoon. He delivered his ambition to dutifully partake in military life amidst the sendoff from fans and his family.

After wrapping up five weeks of basic military training, Lee Jae Jin will serve as an active duty soldier. Please send warm support for Lee Jae Jin so he can return with greater maturity and in good health.

Jung Joonyoung gets 6 years and Choi Jong Hoon 5 years in prison

Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon have been served a prison sentence on charges of aggravated rape (refers to rape that involves two or more perpetrators).

On November 29, judge Kang Sung Soo of the Seoul Central District Court delivered the verdict against five individuals including Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon.

The courts have sentenced Jung Joon Young to six years in prison and Choi Jong Hoon to five years in prison, finding them guilty of sexually assaulting an individual who was incapable of resisting. They will also have to undergo 80 hours in a sexual violence rehabilitation program and will face restrictions of employment for five years in any organization related to children and teenagers. The prosecution request to put the five defendants under protective supervision was denied.

Prosecution demands 7 years prison for Jung Joon Young and 5 years for Choi Jong Hoon's sex crimes

On November 13, the 9th trial was held for Jung Joon Young, Choi Jong Hoon, and other individuals for violating the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Crimes.

For Jung Joon Young, the prosecution requested seven years in prison for charges of filming and spreading illegally taken footage in addition to a case of aggravated rape (refers to rape that involves two or more perpetrators).

The prosecution requested five years in prison for Choi Jong Hoon, who is being charged for participation in the aggravated rape case.

10 years in prison were requested both for former Burning Sun employee Mr. Kim and office worker Mr. Kwon on charges including quasi-rape (refers to rape when the victim is unconscious or unable to resist), and five years were requested for former entertainment agency employee Mr. Heo for the charge of aggravated quasi-rape.
