Never thought that I'd continue this series for so long but I clearly have no life and we're still in the middle of a goddamn pandemic so any distraction from the chaos going on outside is a welcome change. Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back 10 years to the 5th week of December, 2011. Happy New Year everyone!



#3 IU “You & I”
This is still her biggest selling song, and would debut at number one. It was the lead single from her 2nd full album, “Last Fantasy”. Eight of the thirteen songs would chart in the top ten, and the album would peak at the top spot too. A Japanese version of the song would be released in the next year, where it would find success on their charts as well. Let’s take a look at a live performance at Sketchbook from last year.

Meet The Idol Band LUNA

LUNA is the fictional idol band in the new SBS Sunday drama 'Let Me Be Your Knight.' Yoon Tae In (played by U-Kiss Lee Jun Young) is a musical genius with a difficult yet stubborn personality in charge of leading the internationally famous k-pop group. But with the mounting stress of a recent failed album he begins to suffer from a severe case of somnambulism (aka sleep walking) much to the distress of his bandmates. Enter the scrappy and warmhearted In Yoon Joo (Jung In Sun) who works her days as a tour guide with hopes of buying her childhood house and reuniting with her long lost sister. However due to a misunderstanding her life becomes entangled with Yoon Tae In's and she ends up moving in with the group at their dormitory under the guise as their new in house physician. 'Let Me Be Your Knight' is described to be a light rom com and premiered November 27th with a total of 12 episodes.

Another day, another BTS dating rumor: RM is allegedly dating a chaebol, Hybe says it's not true

Rumors have surfaced that BTS' RM is also allegedly dating a "gold spoon."

On the 30th, a YouTuber raised dating rumors between RM and a non-celebrity woman A, through a video titled 'RM ♥ Golden Spoon woman, 9 Types of Romance Evidence Revealed for the First Time.'

The YouTuber revealed, "RM and the "gold spoon" chaebol woman A have been dating since 2019. Both have been caught several times at the same place, same time. The poodle that RM took a photo with is actually A's puppy."

Big Hit revealed a statement denying the rumors saying "they're not true."

RM also wrote on Weverse and stated, "He doesn't know anything at all. That poodle is my friend's dog ^^. Dating rumors with A are "groundless."

Meanwhile, this YouTuber also previously claimed that BTS' V was also dating a chaebol's daughter and Jungkook was in a relationship with actress Lee Yoo-bi.

Leaked email shows JTBC threatening strong legal action over 'Snowdrop' scandal

JTBC has announced a strong hard line response to protect 'Seolganghwa.'

On the 30th, a leaked email sent to various online communities including The Qoo, Clien, and Ppomppu showed JTBC threatening strong legal action over malicious comments. JTBC wrote, "We're suffering enormous damage from the spread of false information over the drama 'Seolganghwa'. We intend to take strong measures to protect the rights of creators, broadcasters and our content.

JTBC pursues creative freedom and independence as its core values in content production and organization and properly respects the rights of content consumers to include any sound criticism and free interpretation of the content. However, recently, false facts and baseless accusations about 'Seolganghwa' that are different from actual drama content have been continuously and repeatedly circulated. The synopsis was leaked in early stages of production and malicious edits that re-crafted the plot were circulated. Even to this day, false acts misleading public opinion are continuing.

Therefore, we're disclosing the following content clarifications. Please note that we will take strong measures against baseless slander and fabricated facts that are not related to the setting of the drama. Also, please refrain from excessive personal attacks on the production team and cast members."
