TWICE revealed their reactions to a part of the “Cheer Up” dance during their appearance on the May 3 episode of KBS2’s “Happy Together.”

When Yoo Jae Suk asked what they meant by being embarrassed by their “posing like flowers and Nayeon watering them choreography” in “Cheer Up,” TWICE’s Dahyun expressed, “Contrary to how people see us, we honestly aren’t very good at acting cute.”

She explained how at the beginning of the song, eight of the TWICE members pair up and pose as flowers. Embarrassed, Nayeon continued, saying that she is pretending to shake and spread seeds with her hands, before she waters the “flowers” so they can bloom.

Remembering the first time they saw the dance, Dahyun commented, “It made us cringe,” Nayeon said, “We were so taken aback that the atmosphere [in the room] was bad for about five minutes or so,” while Jihyo added, “That’s right. We didn’t say anything.”

“When we were watching the choreographers dance and we saw someone ‘watering the flowers,’ all nine of us thought, “As long as I’m not that person,'” Nayeon revealed. “I didn’t know it would end up being me.”

So there's no confusion, the comeback show mentioned in this post is the preview one the usually have before the album/MV drops. The one on Mnet is the Korean comeback show like the one they did last year for Her.

PRISTIN is debuting its first sub-unit!

On May 9, news outlet MyDaily reported that the group’s new sub-unit called PRISTIN V recently filmed a music video for their upcoming title track. The sub-unit will reportedly consist of five members, including Kyulkyung, Nayoung, Rena, Eunwoo, and Roa.

In response to these reports, a source from Pledis Entertainment confirmed that the sub-unit will release a track sometime this month. However, they refrained from giving further details, saying, “We will reveal members of the sub-unit later.”

Are you pumped for PRISTIN’s first sub-unit?

i hate this. they could've at least included yuha to complete unnie line, but no, only the most popular members!! (and what does the "v" stand for? visual? give me a break) i'm guessing xiyeon is missing either because of her leg or age since this is supposed to be a dark (read: sexy) comeback, otherwise she'd be part of this too. seems like pledis aren't ready to announce kyla's departure form the group yet, so we're stuck with this for now.

Solo Songs Cuz None of Y'all want to listen to the whole thing but I know some of you want to hear Xiu's or how awful BBH's rapping is )

Full album is also now on streaming platforms!

SOURCES: MUSIC A little bit of everything Youtube Channel, Solo Songs from YT Channel XIU, BBH, CHEN

I'm not saying you should listen to this but at least listen to the last 1:30 of Baekhyun's solo song it's literally a trash noisepop song, ballad, and then dancehall closer. Jongdae's solo song is the best but... The album has really rich production I hope they have a live band for their tour.

A moment to appreciate So Jisub's meal prep lol. I imagine him packing the night before, with his FoodSaver machine, squeezing ketchup and other condiments into little tubes. He only brings what he needs, so cute with one slice of spam lol!

MBC’s “Omniscient,” a show that observes the lives of stars’ managers, is under fire for using news clips from the 2014 Sewol Ferry disaster, where 304 people, mostly consisting of high school students, tragically lost their lives in the sinking of a ferry.

During Lee Young Ja‘s segment on the May 5 episode of “Omniscient,” the show used censored clips from MBC News and wrote as the headline, “[Breaking News] Lee Young Ja Makes Shocking Confession While Eating Fish Cake.”

Many viewers found this scene problematic because some users on Ilbe, an online community with far-right political views and hate-filled content, use the term “fish cake” to address victims of the Sewol Ferry disaster.
