The new “BTS Comeback Show” will feature performances of the title track and B-side tracks from “Love Yourself: Her.” Special videos will include a BTS member pretending to be an Army, the members recharging in their own unique ways, and behind-the-scenes stories of their new album.

The “BTS Comeback Show” will be broadcast simultaneously via Mnet, Mnet Japan, YouTube, Facebook, and JOOX on May 24 at 8:30 p.m. KST.

So there's no confusion, the comeback show mentioned in this post is the preview one the usually have before the album/MV drops. The one on Mnet is the Korean comeback show like the one they did last year for Her.

I heard rumors that Jin and Jimin will be fixed guests for a new variety show along with two WannaOne members but idk how true these rumors are.

They also have to prepare for Festa so they're quite busy these days :/

they've kinda been pushed as the variety members since early 2017 so it would make sense. I also figured it would be them when I read that rumor. Honestly I'd love Yoongi cause he's hilarious, but he's either feeling it or not and when he's not, he doesn't really bother. Plus he's a bit too direct maybe. Jin and Jimin both have those pre-approved variety personalities that Korea loves (dad jokes and the cute one) and are both good at seeming personable and fun while also being extremely careful lol.

I'm happy for Jin and Jimin getting variety shows gigs (if the casting rumour is true). I know their management wants them to stick to music but they need to start going on shows more and setting up careers post-enlistment.

That’s a lot going on, no less than last year. I hope they don’t strain themselves to the verge of passing out because that just sucks for everyone involved.

(On a separate note, I just need a place to vent I was just discussing with my friends today about ticketing and how there’s no way they’re not upping those prices and how we might have to scramble for them with those within the country and neighboring countries again and it’s just made me stressed out I hate this.)

Omg. I wasn't able to get any tix for the Hamilton one and said to myself I will wait out. I tried looking for tix and everybody's selling for idiculous prices (mostly on twitter)!! In the end, I caved in when I saw someone selling it for about +$30 from total price (face value + fees/tax) since it is not too bad. I think the Hamilton one is not really 'sold out' in the sense that it's mostly people holding the tix to be sold (overpriced?!) and/or trade for the other shows (why even do this if ur not going there?!??)

I agree, I think +$30 from the total price is not too bad at all, I know in NA it could get even worse. I’m glad you still got your ticket to see them :) the ticketing situation in Bangkok is not as bad I think, but still anxiety-inducing all the same. Last year had my seating options planned 1 week in advance and I sat down with my brother, cousin and friend to simultaneously click for seats and only my brother managed to snag a spot for my friend and me. Seats literally disappeared from your screen in the span of seconds like it doesn’t matter how many times you’ve been through it, it sucks every single time.

They're in LA on the 18th so they're probably flying to the US earlier than this. The pre-recording for this is on the 12th and it's just songs on Her and Tear.

I think -- but I'm not sure (but I think...) -- that it was the countdown show that took 24h to film, not the comeback show. I think the countdown had more performances.

I'm still confused whether part of the mnet comeback show is live, though. The announcement today said they're only recording Best of Me and the talkshow bit on the 12th. so will the rest be live on the 24th, or are they prerecording those bits too, just without an audience?

either way, it's going to be a tough schedule.

I'm not looking forward to how overlooked they're going to be for this comeback :/ The last Mnet Comeback Show killed their energy for the rest of promotions. I hope this time filming is more spread out instead of 24 hours straight.
