JYP Entertainment has confirmed the launch of a new survival program on Mnet.
On September 11, the agency revealed that a male group survival program will begin this October with a unique format. Rather than individuals surviving to become a team, the trainees will be working towards the goal of debuting all members together.
The trainees that will be participating have been revealed to be talented in not only dancing in singing, but producing as well. They will be judged on individual abilities and teamwork based on unexpected missions to win the โtrainees vs. JYPโ survival.
Not only will the program showcase preparation for missions, but it will also give a behind-the-scenes look at the daily lives of trainees.
JYPโs male group survival program is set to air its first episode on October 17 at 11 p.m. KST.

keytfelt.livejournal.comCharacter teasers have just been released for tvN’s upcoming cohabitation drama This Life Is Our First, starring Jung So-min and Lee Min-ki, playing two millennials struggling to find their own space amidst the rising costs of urban living.
In the first teaser, Jung So-min goes on the search for an apartment, and she starts out pointing to a high-rise building in a nice neighborhood and gasps at the exorbitant amount. Next she goes to a humbler neighborhood, but it’s still too much above her price range, so she picks a house waaay up in the mountains, but is told that it’s tiny and has no access to public transportation. The narrator mockingly says that even a dog house costs 200,000 won these days, and she sighs despondently that her house doesn’t exist in this lifetime. She trudges around until a house rent flyer lands at her feet, and she looks up to see a man in a trench coat walking toward her.

1. [+1,467, -249] Korea is too obsessed with looks... so what if an idol is chubby if she's talented?
2. [+1,175, -330] Considering that an idol is someone who is making money off of their looks, not managing your looks means you're not fit for the job
