Choiza surprised by crowds chanting Sulli’s name
On May 23rd (KST), Dynamic Duo decorated the last stage for ‘Green Plugged Seoul 2015′ concert at Hangang Park in Seoul. As Choiza commented, “Today female audience members are really pretty. The gentlemen are cool too,” the crowds started chanting Choiza’s girlfriend Sulli’s name.
Reportedly, he was very surprised by crowd’s humorous joke and the duo’s counterpart Gaeko supported the audience, “It’s difficult for the crowds to come together as one voice and chant someone else’s girlfriend’s name.”
Following, Gaeko continued to use Sulli’s joke when he remarked, “Sing along your parts, gents and Sulli… oops, that was a slip of the tongue,” while he intended to say, “Sing along your parts, gents and ladies.”
Meanwhile, Choiza and Sulli have been spotted dating multiple times since 2013. Over continuous denials yet numerous dating rumours, the two finally confirmed their relationship on August 5th in 2014.

Things are heating up online with the release of Mamamoo Solar’s paparazzi cuts.
Solar’s paparazzi photos were published on community sites and SNS and quickly spread. The photos showed her on a street date with a suit-wearing man.
Without minding the eyes of those around, Solar and the man put their arms around each other, sat side-by-side on a bench eating ice cream, and other couple-like activities. They were even caught (looking like) they were kissing which caused shock. This was revealed to be part of Mamamoo’s shoot for their new song’s music video.
From Mamamoo’s company, “Mamamoo’s comeback is ahead on the 19th. The paparazzi photos of Solar that have been heating up online are from their music video shoot, and as expected, the man is fellow member, Moonbyul, dressed in male attire. In order to better deliver the story for the music video, we went with having her dress like a male. We ask that you wait for Mamamoo, who are overflowing with wit and stand out from others.”
Mamamoo’s second mini-album will be released on June 19th, as they make their comeback to the music industry.

SEOUL, South Korea — More than 230 schools in South Korea have temporarily shut down, officials said on Wednesday, as fears of Middle East respiratory syndrome spread through the country.
Thirty South Koreans have tested positive for the virus that causes the disease, which has killed hundreds of people, mostly in Saudi Arabia. The outbreak in South Korea is the largest reported outside the Middle East, where the virus first emerged in 2012 and where a vast majority of the more than 1,100 cases and over 470 deaths reported have occurred.
Two of the South Korean patients died on Monday, and three others were in critical condition, health officials said on Wednesday. The authorities were also awaiting test results for 99 people suspected of being infected. The number of people isolated at home or in state-run quarantine centers while officials monitored them for symptoms had risen to 1,364 from 790 a day earlier.
So far in South Korea, all the reported cases of the syndrome, known as MERS, were found among medical staff members, patients or visitors at five hospitals. But the school closings were just one demonstration of a widespread public suspicion about the government’s response to the situation.
“A lot of fear we see now is rooted in the distrust of the government and what it says,” said Yu Min-yeong, head of Acase, a crisis management consulting firm based in Seoul.

Solo singer Son Dam Bi has decided to look for a new management agency after parting ways with Pledis Entertainment.
Known as one of Korea’s representative female soloists, Son Dam Bi made her debut in 2007 with “Cry Eye” and has since released hits like “Crazy” and “Saturday Night.” Throughout her eight-year journey as a singer, she has been represented by Pledis Entertainment.
The agency thanked the singer, “These past ten years (that includes her time as a trainee) were filled with happiness and joy. Although it is hard to say goodbye, Son Dam Bi’s contract recently expired, and we have come to a mutual decision to go our separate ways. Pledis Entertainment exists because of Son Dam Bi. The company and her hoobaes were able to grow thanks to her. Pledis will always support her, no matter what.”

On a recent broadcast of Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time on SBS Power FM, KARA featured as the special guest of the day. The girls talked about the differences they experience in their lives prior to and post debut as a popular girl group.

Four-member girl group Girl’s Day will make its first comeback after about a year!
According to their management company Dream Tea Entertainment on June 3, “Girl’s Day will make its comeback on July 6 with a full album.”
An associate of the management company explained, “Choosing the title song took a long time, so the comeback got pushed back past what we originally planned. They will be making their comeback after almost a year.” He added, “Since it’s a carefully chosen song, we expect that a lot of people will like Girl’s Day’s new album.”

Untouchable‘s Sleepy and Secret‘s Song Ji Eun will be collaborating on a surprise digital single album in June. The title track will be a duet song between Sleepy, the talented rapper, and Song Ji Eun, who is known for her beautiful singing.
This is the second time that they will be working together since Song Ji Eun worked with the hip hop duo Untouchable in 2008 on the song “I Will Give You Everything.” Since the song received a lot of love from fans with the cute vocals and catchy rap, the news of a new collaboration is naturally getting the attention of many fans.

BIGBANG has revealed that they actually drank alcohol during filming for the music video of their new song, “We Like 2 Party.”
According to a representative of the group, “We wanted to portray a more natural vibe, and after much consideration we thought it would be better to do a video that captures the true feeling of the song rather than have them act it out. So [BIGBANG] drank in the studio and then filmed the video. Fans will therefore get to see a more relaxed BIGBANG than normal in the video.”
Ahead of this revelation, BIGBANG also gave an explanation for the music video of “We Like 2 Party” during a live appearance on Naver’s “BIGBANG Countdown Live” on June 1. “We have always put a lot of effort into our videos, but this time we wanted to do something that was more cute and innocent, something that showed our natural sides. You can expect this to be different from our other videos, it will show us looking more normal and not dressed up.” During the broadcast, T.O.P also admitted to having had around four cans of beer.
Meanwhile, from May to August, BIGBANG will release new singles on the first of each month. These songs will then be included in the group’s comeback album, “Made,” which is set for release in September. Seven-member boy group BTOB will be having a comeback later this month.
The group has announced that they will be coming back with their first full-length album in late June, and that they have confirmed their title track. It is being reported that the group will be going through a transformation, and will show a completely different side to them with this coming comeback.
Their latest album was the winter special mini album “Winter’s Tale” in December of last year. Since then, they have had a successful debut in Japan, selling over 100,000 albums.
The album is still in production, and the exact release date has yet to be announced.

Boy group SHINee‘s member Minho will be stepping in as a special MC on MBC‘s late-night talk show, “Radio Star.”
According to multiple broadcast insiders, Minho participated in the June 3 recording of the show as a special MC, filling in for Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, who was away for his Japanese concert.
Kyuhyun is currently touring Japan with his sub-unit Super Junior – K.R.Y, and performed in the Yokohama arena on June 2 and 3.
Despite being busy with SHINee activities himself, Minho volunteered to be a special MC for the episode, to help out his label-mate.
The episode with Minho as the guest MC will be airing on June 10.
