Not only that, but if you add up the total votes for Major A vs Minor B, it adds up to more votes than there were for Minor B vs. Major A, which leads me to believe that there were people who just came to vote for Dahyun and didn't give a shit about the other girls/teams, which is really gross behavior.
Also if Momo does get cut after Mnet included her tarot card reading that basically said she would debut after the hardships she's faced, that would be shady af :/
I found her facetime session with her sister and the talking head that followed to be pretty interesting - she mentioned that her family is expecting a lot of her. I don't want to make assumptions, and I'm probably reaching, but her family's expectations probably weigh heavily on her, especially with how the competition has been panning out of her.
Like, it's obvious that what she deems as "failures" are really eating at her, and she's been focused more on winning/redeeming herself in the competition more than anything else. Mnet's stupid edit pitting her against Natty isn't helping whatsoever - Momo hasn't gotten a fucking leg up since this competition has started, and episode after episode it's been "Well you did well, but" from JYP and others, making it seem like no matter how hard she pushes herself it's just not enough. I feel like we'd see more of her "personality" or whatever people want from her if she could get a win in and relax and stop worrying about her "failures" so much. We saw how smiley and (at least a little) more at ease she was with Mina and Sana.

I was so excited to see the amount of fans that Sixteen have. Dahyun is clearly the favorite. She’s seems super genuine so I’m glad she’s getting a lot of love.
I’m so glad that Team B made up. The awkwardness would have affected their future practices after the fight, so it was good that they banded together. I also liked the scenes with Somi and her father and sister, and Jihyo with her mother and sister.
Major A vs Minor B
Overall Major A made a better team and had the most stable voices and stage presence. However their choreo was a little boring to watch. Minor B improved so much and I was pleasantly surprised. Minyoung’s vocals were really stable for the most part and Tzuyu and Sana looked so confident.
Minor B looked so defeated while the vote counter was running, but in the end they won. I really think that Dahyun’s fans had a lot to do with that and it made me wonder if Major A would have won if Dahyun was on their team. I’m happy though because most of my faves were in Minor B lol. You could tell that Jungyeon wasn’t happy with the decision though but she was trying not say much so she could boost the moral of the rest of the team who burst into tears. Also Jungyeon needs to stop underestimating people. She underestimated Mina who got put in Major from jump, meanwhile she was in Minor. And now she’s underestimated Minor B and her team lost.
Major B vs Minor A
Major B’s performance was really cute, but Minor A were more interesting to watch. Jiwon really shined and I was happy that she let her worries go during their performance. The result was such a surprise. I really expect Minor A to win, but Major B ended up keeping their spots in Major. I think that the sexiness of their routine could have turned people off. Not to mention they picked a song that wasn’t as popular as Major B’s. It was cute that Major B didn’t even realize they won at first, but finally Natty noticed it, and Jihyo told Somi who ending up screaming, then bursting into tears. Somi’s “I will live a proper life” was so hilarious. JYP didn’t seem too happy with the result though.
I really love the bond that the girls have. Team Japan seem like really good friends and I liked seeing them hanging out together. If they all make it into Twice, I need them promote in Japan as a subunit (they would make JYP bank). Jihyo took such good care of Somi and Natty and you could tell they both appreciate it. Nayeon was also really great with Mina and Chaeryeong. And finally Chaeyoung crying on behalf of Jiwon because she hoped Jiwon wouldn’t lose her confidence after their loss made me really emotional.
It will be interesting to see how the rematch between Major A and Minor A goes. I hope that Minor A wins. I will be devastated if one of them gets eliminated.

I agree with your line up. Maybe I will change Somi for Nayeon. I think Nayeon style suits better with the rest of the girls and I see Somi as too young.
It irritates me so much because she's so good and she does deserve to debut asap. There's also no way she's going to wind up with the group that's apparently supposed to debut 2 years from now - if she doesn't fit JYP's "vision" or wte for this group, there's no way she's going to (or feel comfortable, for that matter) with a group that's likely going to be made up of the 00s girls we all know aren't going to make it into Twice. Like I get that there are groups where there's large age gaps (Vic in f(x), Boram in T-ara, etc) but it's not just her age, it's her whole vibe.
So yeah if she gets cut I'm just going to be even more upset that JYP didn't debut J-trinity as a trio that could cross-promote in Japan.

I think Jihyo, Natty, and Somi make a good group, but I still think Somi and Natty are too young and need to develop their skills more. Natty, especially, has a lot of potential, and extra training time will help her hone the hidden skills she has.
I'm hoping the older members can be a part of the group. They have a lot more experience and frankly, it'd be nice if the younger kids got to enjoy more of their life as kids.

There are some unjustified hate for Natty on OH and Twitter. Natty is a rough gem, very rough, I just wish JYP doesn't hype her up so much, while killing some talented people's self esteem. It's like he judge based on expectations instead of actual skills showed.
Being a Japanese idol wannabe is Korea is only advantageous in that CEOs see the potential $$ to be made in the Japanese market but other than that Korea is still too hostile toward Japanese people in general. I mean, the Chinese k-idols already get a lot of shit, and the Japanese k-idols...there are no Japanese k-idols (ok, there is one or two, but none in the big companies). If any of the 3 Japanese girls make it it's going to be revolutionary.
Out of all the girls I think the ones that are ready to debut are: the japan trio, nayeon, jiwon, jihyo and chaeyoung.
Minyoung needs to improve her breathing while singing but she improved her confidence a lot. Tzuyu looked more natural but I think she still need to train her voice a bit more. Dahyun has A LOT of confidence but if she's meant to be a rapper she needs to improve a lot (even if I love the girl it's the truth).. Chaeryeong is good but she hasn't impressed me yet, and I want her to debut with her sister (I think it would be good for both of them) Somi and Natty have A LOT of potential, but like many said, they need more time to develop more skills they are still very young and I don''t know if they fit with the vibe of the group I'm not sure why I'm not sold on Jungyeon yet, I like her but I feel like something is missing but I don't know what...

My favourite performances and members differ so much from everyone else. I enjoyed Major B's performance the most, it was fun and made me smile, where as the others were something I think that most girl groups could perform and doesn't make then stand out at all to me. I also feel like that people focus too much on their ages. There are several 00-02 liners and they include girls that people want in the group but when it comes to other members (those who are less popular tbh), age is somehow an massive barrier. Plus if the public got to choose who debuted then Jihyo would be out, which is absolutely ridiculous to me (shows people are voting more for perceived visuals over everything else).
It is a little ridiculous to me that Jihyo isn't more popular/doing better in the polls, but the Korean public is pretty fickle as a whole and the way they're receiving her is "Ah, well she used to pretty. What happened??" JYPE has always had a healthier stance on idol image/weight, imo at least, and JYP himself gives me the impression that he is fond of Jihyo and wants her in the group, so I don't worry for her too much on that front, but I really hate this weight/image arc they're giving her and I do worry about that.
With regards to the younger girls - there are no 00-line girls left in the competition. The only non-90s born kids there are left are Somi, Chaeryeong, and Natty. Somi and Chaeryeong are both 01 liners, so if they wound up in the group they would have restrictions on their schedule, but only until January of next year. Natty, on the other hand, being an 02 liner, would have to deal with those work restrictions until January of 2017, when she would be 16 in Korean age. I don't doubt JYP would be willing to work around that - he did that with 15& - but if he wants this group to be successful he's going to have to act on the attention this show has brought in as soon as possible, which definitely means debuting them by the end of the year, and they're going to have to promote more actively and vigorously than 15& has if they want to gain solid traction. I see where you're coming from - I myself have expressed interest in having Somi in the group, though I'm still on the fence about that and I think the 90s-born girls should be getting spots first - but the fact of the matter is that Chaeryeong/Somi pose less of an issue, where Natty's age would legitimately hold them back for at least a year, unless the laws change. (Which, they shouldn't lmao, and if anything should possibly become more strict in the future)
I don't know. I agree with the Netizens and Dahyun just seems shady to me. This episode highlighting the reconciliation of minor b seemed like it was clearly for the show and to make amends with the audience rather than each other.
