I still have the final episode to watch, so I'm dodging spoilers left and right. I really enjoyed this drama and I'm hoping the the ending will be a nice send off for my little accidental family.

And also to rub all of their success in Han JungHo's face.

Even though the story dragged a bit in the middle, I thoroughly enjoyed the series as a whole. I think that everyone got the ending they deserved or were at least moving toward where I thought they'd naturally go, even In Sang's parents (though the dad's last scene, to me, was kind of chilling).

Both are really good in their own ways. Heard It Through the Grapevine is definitely more on the black comedy side, so there are some people who don't really enjoy that. Angry Mom balances comedy and drama pretty well, especially as the series really gets rolling. Of course, Angry Mom is only 16 episodes to Heard's 30. I'd really recommend watching both eventually, though.

Not reading any of the comments because I haven't reached these episodes yet. I'm only on episode 25! Tbh when I stopped watching for a while after episode 11/12 because I got busy, I thought I wouldn't be able to pick it up again (coz' I'm terrible with k-dramas like that) but I'm so glad I'm making it through and almost at the end!

The side characters are so much fun and I love how everyone has an evil-ness to them. Yay for no 1-dimensional characters!

Just got to add (although this is late and happened way earlier in the show) - WHAT THE FUCK ENTITLEMENT was In Sang's father thinking when he had his stupid affair, his utter lack of remorse was disgusting. And it's so funny to me how it's In Sang's mom's pride that was holding her back from letting it wreck her marriage, but at the same time - the fact that she was a 'slave' to her image of being a perfect wife in the holy grail family - meant she had no real pride at all? I'd have walked the fuck out if my husband was that oblivious and obnoxious.

ikr re the affair. Like I get that theirs is a political alliance and they don't marry for love, but at the very least they were on the same team and backed each other up - they at least had loyalty even if they didn't have love. For him to basically publicly humiliate her like that was awful, bc she can't even dump his ass like I would.

but someone on dramabeans pointed out that this drama is basically a neo sageuk, and ofc someone like Han Jung Ho thinks it's ok for him to cheat and his wife should just tolerate it. I kinda agree with that, he even delivers lines like asageuk king, and look at their house.

Okay I like the everybody left the house, the dad there all alone with new staff wow, and the mother a think she could do more,  but no she when to "travel" ugh.

Exactly, it's a fitting ending for him because EVERYONE in his household fucked off and he's all alone with strangers. Even his wife doesn't want to be stuck with him, she's a terrible person herself but maaybe with some hope of getting over her snobby ways and seeing her grandson on his parents' terms. She can't actually divorce him bc of her pride, but leaving him 'to travel' is the next best thing even if it's just temporary.

The ending fit. That's good for Han Jungho. He got exactly what he wanted and deserved.

Lee Joon + precious baby = my melted heart. That part was just so cute, the baby lit up at Go Ah Sung when Joon was playing with him...lol.
