Plot

Girl’s Day’s Minah to Make Her Solo Debut Later This Month

It has been announced that Minah of Girl’s Day will be the first member of her group to release her very own album and make her debut as a solo artist!

On March 3, a representative of the group’s agency, Dream Tea Entertainment, revealed to Newsen, “Minah recently started working on her solo album after the confirmation of her solo debut. The album is not yet complete, but she is recording the songs and has set out on the finishing stages.”

The agency rep continued to explain that the Girl’s Day member’s new solo song is one with a bright concept. She is currently having ongoing discussions on how to emphasize her distinct charms through the outfits and overall concept.

Meanwhile, it is said that Minah is gearing up to officially make her solo debut around the middle of this month, joining the competitive list of comebacks in March.

Jaejoong to Enter Military on March 31

C-Jes Entertainment, Kim Jaejoong‘s agency, confirmed that the singer and actor will be entering the military on March 31.

A report was released on March 4 that JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong recently confirmed the date for his military entrance. The agency confirmed that the report was true, and added, “He will be spending the remaining time with his fans.”

Kim Jaejoong already has a fan meeting planned for this month. He is also to have a concert on March 28 and 29 titled “2015 Kim Jae Joong Concert in Seoul-The Beginning of The End.” Moreover, he is also to have opportunities to meet his international fans from March 14.

Kim Jaejoong is currently active as an actor in KBS 2TV‘s drama “Spy” and the project is to be his last before entering the military. The last episode of “Spy” will air this Friday at 9:30 p.m. KST.

Yoo Seung Ho, Go Ara, and more begin filming for ‘Joseon Magician’

Filming for South Korean movie ‘Joseon Magician‘ recently began on February 27th, and the four month long filming will see the team film around Yongin, Namyangju, Mungyeong, Sokcho, and Hwasun.

The movie tells the story of a top Joseon magician who falls in love with a princess, gets embroiled in a sinister plot, and seeks to go against his destiny.

After months of meetings, work on the the main film site was finally completed recently, and the vast site is definitely one of its kind in the industry. The cast members have gone through script reading sessions, magic training, fighting training, and also held a prayer ceremony to pray for the movie’s success.

On March 4th, Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In revealed the tracklist for her upcoming mini-album hawwah featuring two title tracks.

The star recently generated fan interested after the unveiling of various image teasers and a list of artists she would be collaborating with. This tracklist confirms the featuring of Jay Park and Dok2 while Wheesung and Mad Clown contributed to the lyrics of Ga In’s tracks.

With two title tracks, “Apple” featuring Jay Park and “Paradise Lost,” this mini-album continues the trend set by the title, hosting tracks that have titles such as “Free Will” featuring Dok2, “Two Women,” “The First Temptation,” and “Guilty.”

Ga In is set to release hawwah on March 12th so stay tuned for more teasers!

Song Ji Hyo in Talks for New tvN Drama; Byun Yo Han Likely to Become Her Co-Star

Actress Song Ji Hyo is reported to be making a small-screen comeback this May.

According to a report on March 4, Song Ji Hyo is likely to be cast as the main role for new tvN drama “Ex-Girlfriend Club” (working title). Her last project was tvN drama “Emergency Couple,” which ended last April. Actor Byun Yo Han may also be cast as the main role.

The drama will be directed by Kwon Suk Jang, who also directed “Pasta,” “Golden Time,” and “Miss Korea.“ The writer, Lee Jin Mae, wrote the drama “I Am Sam.”

C-Jes Entertainment, Song Ji Hyo’s agency, responded to the report saying, “Song Ji Hyo is thinking positively about accepting the role in ‘Ex-Girlfriend Club.’ It’s too early to say that anything is confirmed though.”

Meanwhile, the drama will air after “Super Daddy 10.”

Having starred as ‘Yoon Eun Ho’ in the hit drama KBS 2TV’s What’s With This Family?, actor Seo Kang Jun showed off his various charms through a recent photoshoot.

In the recent photoshoot for the March issue of the magazine Harper′s Bazaar, Seo Kang Jun went back and forth between witty and serious facial expressions. According to a staff member from the photoshoot, he perfectly pulled off colorful and fancy patterned outfits, increasing the quality of the photos.

(Reuters) - U.S. ambassador to South Korea Mark Lippert was slashed in the face by a Korean nationalist but was not seriously hurt during an attack at a breakfast forum held in the capital on Thursday to discuss Korean reunification, police and witnesses said.

Lippert, 42, was bleeding from a facial wound but was walking after the attack as he was taken to the hospital. He was later reported to be in stable condition and officials in Washington said his injuries were not life-threatening.
