“Running Man” Starts Social Media Campaign to Bring bae Yoon Eun Hye to tiger

SBS‘ popular variety program “Running Man” has started a humorous social media campaign to bring actress Yoon Eun Hye to the show as a guest.

SBS released a video clip to their official Facebook page consisting of various instances from “Running Man” where MC Yoo Jae Suk jokes about Kim Jong Kook‘s alleged feelings for Yoon Eun Hye. Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye previously showed amazing chemistry on the classic early 2000′s variety show, “X-Man,” a glimpse of which is also shown through this video.

Along with the video, SBS encouraged the fans to comment on the video calling out Yoon Eun Hye to be a guest on the Sunday variety program. With hashtags like “Are you watching, Yoon Eun Hye?” and “Yoon Eun Hye to Running Man,” SBS urged the fans to reach 10,000 comments to catch the attention of the actress.

Amber to debut as a solo artist on Feb 13th through music bank

f(x) Amber is to release all five songs of the album on February 13 through various music-downloading websites, including the title song “Shake That Brass.”

“Shake That Brass” is a song with unique brass sound, and is an urban hip hop song. The lyrics are about forgetting all worries and problems, and just having fun. Moreover, Amber participated both in making the lyrics and composing the title song. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon also featured in “Shake That Brass,” and many fans are looking forward to their collaboration.

On February 13, Amber will make her debut as a solo artist in KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” and other music programs.

Meanwhile, the mini album “Beautiful” will be sold from February 16.

Secret Masterpost [Picture Heavy]

Girl group Secret is set to hold a special fan event for its fan club Secret Time on February 7. The event will be titled “House Party,” and will be held at 6 p.m. in the K-Art Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. The event is being organized to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the girls’ debut.

The group will also be performing a song called “For Secret Time” at the party. The track and its lyrics were co-composed by the members of the group and is intended as a sort of thank-you message for Secret fans.

More information about the event can be found on the group’s official Daum café site, and tickets be available until midnight on January 30.

Secret made their debut in 2009 with the digital single “I Want You Back,” and has gone on to score hits with songs like “Shy Boy” and “Poison.”

The K(ukk)ing's Valentine concert sells out in two hours

It has been announced that tickets for Kim Jong Kook’s Valentine’s Day concert in Beijing have sold out only two hours after being put on sale, selling at a rate of about one every ten seconds.

The speedy feat is due in large part to Kim Jong Kook’s rising popularity across Asia for his role in popular variety program “Running Man.” The show is especially popular in China, where a domestic version called “Hurry Up, Brother,” was recently created. The concert will be Kim Jong Kook’s first solo effort in Beijing.

According to Chinese media reports, the shortage of tickets stems from the organizer’s decision to hold the concert in a relatively small venue in an effort to provide a high-quality experience to audiences. Because of these size limitations, the decision has been made to make the concert available on youku.com, where fans unable to obtain tickets will be able to view a live stream of the show.

The concert is set to be held on Valentine’s Day at 7:30 p.m. local time.

H.O.T. guy gives $sungja€ tips to keep BTOB from disbanding

On January 5, Moon Hee Jun, Lee Moon Sik, Choi Jung Won, BTOB’s Yook Sungjae, M.I.B’s Kangnam, and Sayuri appeared on KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together” for the talk show’s topic “tough life.”

In the episode, Yook Sungjae asks the first generation idol, H.O.T’s Moon Hee Jun, for tips on how to keep an idol team from disbanding. Moon Hee Jun asks him, “Did you [and your members] sign the contract at the same time?” to which Yook Sungjae replies, “Yes, at the same.” Moon Hee Jun says, “That’s good. If the contract time is same, that’s a pass.”

Moon Hee Jun also mentions, “There shouldn’t be a member who has a contrasting personality from everyone else. If everyone’s personalities are harmonious enough to get along with each other, it’s easy to maintain [the group] for a long time. It’s not about being satisfied or dissatisfied, but about having a good chemistry.” He then adds, “If one person doesn’t seem to fit well with others, there has to be a mediator for him. Someone should constantly resolve any misunderstandings that arise between members,” and gives genuine advice to Yook Sungjae.

Meanwhile, Moon Hee Jun also shares the difficult times he had with anti-fans, and how hard he worked to become an MC in variety TV shows. He even shares that the possibility of H.O.T. making a comeback is becoming more likely.

Taeyang's Upcoming Malaysian Concert Draws Criticism From Islamic Groups

Several Islamic officials in Malaysia have cited concerns for Taeyang's upcoming concert, in light of a recent incident involving B1A4.

According to a report by The Malaysian Insider, 75% of tickets have been sold for the February 7 concert which will feature Big Bang's Taeyang. This is in spite of growing concerns by Islamic officials regarding K-pop concerts in Malaysia. The concert will be one of the first major K-pop events since B1A4's controversial concert in January.

As girl group sensation EXID continues to climb up the charts, their agency is also providing them with a few extra perks.

In an appearance on SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment,” EXID participated in a question and answer segment with fans. At one point, a male fan came on stage and asked, “Has your agency treated you any differently now that ‘Up & Down’ has gotten popular?”

“We used to only get 6,000 won (approximately 5 USD) per person for each meal, but that’s gone up a bit now,” they replied. “We can also have coffee and other things for dessert, too. Shin Se Gi is backkk. ♥ ♥ Queen Yo Na deservers her own show, tbh.
Each episode manages to succesfully transition from rom-com, to kinda melo, which makes this drama so awesome to me.
The mistery is slowly getting revealed, and I'm honestly still in the dark about the whole thing, and can't wait for the next episode.

TVXQ’s Yunho has something to be proud about for his birthday this year; fans from all over the world are following in the global star’s footsteps by celebrating his birthday with a heartwarming gesture.

The Green Umbrella Child Fund, a charity dedicated to helping marginalized children in need, revealed that it received donations from all over the world. Four of Yunho’s fan clubs based in Korea, China, Japan and the United States came together to donate a total of 8,700,000 KRW (~$8700 USD) in total to the foundation as well as lunches, school supplies and warm clothes for the winter.

The fan clubs’ warm gesture comes from Yunho’s devotion and dedication to helping those in need. It was revealed last December that Yunho had donated all of his earnings from his cameo on “Ode to My Father” to the Green Umbrella Child Fund, saying, “I wanted to help every child to be able to grow up with hopes and dreams, even though it’s not much.”

In response to Yunho’s warm gestures, his fans have been donating along with the star to various foundations over the years, including treatment fees to charities for rare and incurable childhood diseases, and rice for the homeless and less fortunate.

Lee Je Hoon, the CEO of the Green Umbrella Child Fund, said, “Thanks to Jung Yunho’s fan club members, we were able to relay hopes and dreams to many marginalized children.” He added, “The donated money and items will be used with care so that children who are in need can grow up in a bright and healthy way.”
