Netizens suspect trouble between Suzy and other miss A members

Suspicions have been arising, speculating trouble in miss A’s paradise, as a couple of hawk-eyed netizens notice the absence of Suzy in photos of fellow member Jia’s birthday party.

Rumours have started arising prior to the upload of a post on February 5th, titled “miss A ostracizes Suzy.” Along with the post are photo attachments that appear to be from Jia’s birthday party. At first glance, they look like images from any other party. However, upon a closer look, there is a clear lack of Suzy’s presence.

The uploader of the post went on to justify his suspicions about her absence, stating that, “Suzy did not have schedules on that day,” presenting an argument that questions exactly what kind of reasons Suzy had for failing to show up. The poster then goes on to justify that, “During early stages of their debut, Suzy and other members were so close and uploaded selcas of themselves but ever since she blew up as a solo artist, not even one selca was uploaded…the other members and Suzy aren’t following each other and the only picture they have together is from the JYP Nation concert last year.”

Additionally, the subject of putting other celebrity friends before each other has contributed to the issue. In the photo of Jia’s party, while it was clear that Suzy was absent, it is even more clear that there are members of other groups, both from JYP Entertainment and not, including 4MINUTE’s HyunA, 2AM’s Jokwon, and Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon.

The poster has also noticed that Suzy seems to show more affection towards other artists on her public SNS accounts, stating that, “Suzy congratulated other JYP artists such as Bernard Park and 2PM’s Junho on their birthdays through SNS, or re-tweeted them, but she did not do anything during one of her own member’s birthday.”

I see my co-workers more than I see my family. Some of them I get along with, some I see sometimes outside of work, others not at all. It doesn't mean I hate them or that we don't get along. My bff works with me, we talk everyday at work and take lunch or breaks together, but on the weekends we don't see each other unless there's something planned. We aren't high schoolers, we have lives and other friends. I think ppl assuming that not close = hate/don't get along must be pretty young or just naive and delusional.

They really have a low opinion of the other Miss A members, don't they? None of this bullshit would even matter if JYPE would regularly promote the group (hell, even sub-units) through MUSIC more regularly. That's where they all shine the most (even Suzy, despite being known more for acting). Giving the other members small side projects isn't going to do anything for them if they can't promote a hot song and dance alongside it.

Exactly, how else does a group go from being so highly praised at their debut to being basically considered nothing except for one member just a few years later? Their agency putting a year - 18 months between promoting any music at all is basically what finished them. Like damn, even SNSD doesn't take breaks that long and puts out sub-unit work between comebacks. And even 4minute which is in a similar situation with Hyuna, has Cube putting more effort inyo keeping the group name alive.

I'm so tired of this. Yes, maybe they are not friends, but that doesn't mean they dislike each other. I had work with people that I liked and in some way I would say they were friends, but never went out with them.
And we don't know if she saw Jia on that day and wished her a happy birthday or has doing it on another SNS in a more personal way.
This is all so dumb and I would like to this people to stop acting like the girls are taking all Suzy money because she has already speak about this subject.

I've declined invitations for parties thrown by good friends because I'm not really a party person/didn't really know the people who were going, so Idg why K-netz are so quick to jump to the conclusion that she wasn't invited. It's also possible that she called/texted Jia to say happy birthday since I'm assuming Suzy's closer to her than BP and Junho.

With that said, I feel like it's been pretty obvious that Miss A isn't a super close group? Their promotions are so far and few that I don't think they've really been given the chance to bond.

yes, they aren't bffs, but there is no ill sentiment between the members, they just got out of touch and drift apart, plus suzy is not into partying, she is more the type to stay at home drinking.

This so much. People use every fucking chance to look down at the girls or to bash Suzy when the girl simply did NOTHING at all. They just fail to see that what they should expect from the girls is an amicable relationship and great performances and they always deliver that. Suzy is a introvert and she pretty much lives on her own without ever partying. Even her own birthdays she spends with her mother only or working and that's it. The friends she rarely hangs out with is like 3, and they only go to bars or stay home. Sorry that the girl isn't a social butterfly and that miss A is a really independent group, that stated many many times that they like being like this as each member lives on their own.

In my personal opinion I do think she feels a bit disconnect at times depending of the stage (for example if it is a random one time show they are promoting without being during actual promotional circles), but otherwise I don't see any changes.

First of all, if there was any ill feelings (which I'm 99.9% sure there isn't from anyone not named Min) I wouldn't grudge them. Shit has gone down, it's been almost 5 years, everyone can't always be happy.

Miss A is just one of those groups were a bunch of strangers were put together and told to sing. Sometimes personalities just don't mix, and that's okay. Basically (IMO) Suzy is like the baby sister born 10 years too late, so although her sibs love her they'll never have those "remember that time at the park" moments.

From what I can tell:
-Jia & Fei trained together and are both Chinese = natural friendship, but there not even bffs (they have different interests and friends)
-Jia and Min like to party & have natural friends = are good (club) friends, but again Min rolls with K-Americans and Jia (I don't maybe fashions people and other Chinese people living in Korea)
-Suzy doesn't share the same interests/have anything in common with the others, plus she's the young = natural barrier keeping them from being good friends.

Miss A was screwed from before they even debuted, and the whole First Love thing just tipped them over the edge. They were under a sub-label that doesn't even exist anymore (I think), Jia and Fei could never be truly popular unless the pull and a Vic or Henry (which they never will) and they don't have the push/talent/X-factor to find success back in China, and Min is Min. Suzy was always the only real potential in the group: she's Korean "pretty", decent enough at singing/dancing, and ened up having an acting career.

Either way, it's been over 5 years, Hyuna has had endless successful solos, and yet 4minute still goes on (not the best example since PORMINUTE are actually really close, but whateva).

The SNS thing is dumb too. I don't even post happy bday on my close friends' fb page, I directly text or message them. Just because it's not posted on SNS for everyone to see doesn't mean that they're on bad terms.
