Paris Hilton’s appearance was confirmed on November 19 by CJ E&M with the Chief Producer of 2013 MAMA, An So Yeon stating, “MAMA offers a platform to create synergy between east and west by bringing together global talents every year. We are all excited about Ms. Hilton’s performance at 2013 MAMA, which is sure to multiply the joy of fans around the world.”

In the past several years, MAMA has invited a variety of talented stars from all over the world, including Far East Movement, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, will.i.am, apl.de.ap, B.o.B, and Adam Lambert.

In 2013, MAMA will be bringing Stevie Wonder, Icona Pop, Ylvis, Paris Hilton, and more to the stage.

2013 MAMA will take place on November 22 in Hong Kong.

SISTAR's Hyorin ~confirmed to have a solo debut next week

With previous reports that Hyorin may be standing before her fans as a solo artist, it has now been confirmed that the SISTAR’s main vocalist will be making a solo debut later this month.

According to Starship Entertainment on November 19, Hyorin will be making a solo debut at the end of November with her first full-length album. She is currently wrapping up filming and editing the music video.

Full tracklist and actual release date will be revealed soon. Hyorin is also expected to hold showcase and promote on various music programs until the end of the year.

Dohee Keeps 'Free Hug' Promise For 'Respond 1994'



Girl group Tiny G's member Dohee who is currently coming out in the tvN drama "Respond 1994" kept her 'free hug' promise.

Last month, Dohee had said that she would give out free hugs on the streets of Myeongdong if the tvN drama "Respond 1994" view rate passes 7%. The episode aired last week received 7.1% rate, which led to Dohee keeping her promise.

Other cast of the drama posted on their Twitter, "Dohee really did the free hug campaign. Dohee, keep it up in the cold weather" and "I want it to pass 10% so that I can run to Myeongdong too. Until our rate is two digits, let's go!"

Internet users who saw this commented, "I want a free hug too," "I want to see her," etc.

Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx sang a harmonious duet with Korean(-American) singer Eric Nam and shared two videos through the actor’s official Instagram account.

For the first video, Jamie Foxx has nothing but praises for his interviewee, Eric Nam. He writes, “I met this young man on Saturday when he came in to interview me about my role as Electro, as it turns out I was the one sitting across from a star. This young man’s name is Eric Nam from Korea and he is truly talented. Where are my Korean fans? Do you guys know @realericnam? Make sure you check out Part 2 as well.”

In this video, Eric Nam teaches Jamie Foxx a line from his song, “Heaven’s Door.”

B.A.P Kicks Off First Big-Scale Japan Tour with Production Costs Over 3 Million USD

The charismatic idol group B.A.P will be kicking off their first Japanese tour!

Starting on November 19, B.A.P will be traveling to Kobe, Nagoya and Tokyo, throwing two concerts for each city, with a total of six concerts in Japan.

The tour called, “B.A.P 1st Japan Tour: WARRIOR Begins,” is said to have cost around 3.6 billion won (around 3.6 million USD) for production, uses over 2,200 staff workers and needs 15 ten-ton trucks for each concert.

B.A.P announced that its group’s character, the Matoki, will also be making an appearance for this tour, which is set to have a motive of “Warriors of the Universe.” The stage is measured at 10m high and 10m wide, which is sure to create a big space for the B.A.P members to explode with their energy and charisma.

The B.A.P members have participated and gave many ideas of their own for this tour. It is reported that Hullang, the guitarist of the band Pia, will be performing as well.

“B.A.P 1st Japan Tour: WARRIOR Begins” is already being called the must-see show of the season, making both fans and the public excited.

SHINHWA Andy to Step Down from “Shinhwa Broadcasting”

K-pop group SHINHWA member Andy has decided to step down from the group’s self-titled TV show “Shinhwa Broadcasting” after involved in a charge of illegal gambling.

Andy’s agency TOP Media announced the official position of Andy through its official website on Thursday, “We extend our apology to worry numerous fans who support Andy with a shameful thing.”

“Andy reflects deeply on the investigation result and what he did. He has decided to cease further official activities and take time for self-reflection-and-examination,” TOP Media went on, “We delivered his will to the producing crew of the shows he is appearing in.”

An official with JTBC explained that, “We’ve already taped episodes for two weeks so we can’t avoid Andy to appear on until the December 1 episode. We’re going to edit out Andy’s part as much as we can.”

On Tuesday, the K-pop star’s agency admitted that Andy was examined by the prosecution last month with a charge of illegal gambling by betting big through illegal online gambling website.

Popular TV celebrities Lee Soo-geun, Tak Jae-hoon, Tony An, who is former member of ‘90s top K-pop group H.O.T, and Boom have been reported to have gone through the examination by the prosecution with the same charge.
