Dohee Keeps 'Free Hug' Promise For 'Respond 1994'



Girl group Tiny G's member Dohee who is currently coming out in the tvN drama "Respond 1994" kept her 'free hug' promise.

Last month, Dohee had said that she would give out free hugs on the streets of Myeongdong if the tvN drama "Respond 1994" view rate passes 7%. The episode aired last week received 7.1% rate, which led to Dohee keeping her promise.

Other cast of the drama posted on their Twitter, "Dohee really did the free hug campaign. Dohee, keep it up in the cold weather" and "I want it to pass 10% so that I can run to Myeongdong too. Until our rate is two digits, let's go!"

Internet users who saw this commented, "I want a free hug too," "I want to see her," etc.

I saw pictures of her giving the free hugs and it was so cute :3 Everyone was practically towering over her. She looks so nice to hug but I'm pretty sure we're the same height so I don't know whether that would be nice or not.....

It is amazing how I hated him with burning passion in Werewolf Boy and Architecture 101 (and I heard he's evil in Oldboy, too - gonna watch that movie today), but I manage to be absolutely in love with him in Reply 1994! How can he easily switch the evil!YooYeonSeok to puppy!YooYeonSeok in my mind, I wonder? xD

It's not from the PDs, he just became the runaway star because the public fell in love with him early on so he's the one getting most of the solo deals. + He has a movie that is about to/just came out so there's promo for that too.

Ah yes. I was talking more about being the runaway star from an ensemble cast for a specific project. I don't think Woo Bin did that with School or Heirs, not even Friends 2.
I'm surprised that no one in Heirs has made it, but then again nobody's particularly likable in that drama so.. It sucks though with such a great cast I wanted at least 1 or 2. It feels like such a waste.

Stepping out of their '90s drama, the cast take on classical music with their violins, cellos, flutes, and trombones.

During the interview with the magazine, Go Ara kept her lips sealed on who her future husband will be as she shared, "You'll have to continue watching. There is a possibility that there might be an addition to the list of candidates for my [onscreen] husband." NOOO Et tu, Go Ara? Stop trolling me! But aww at YYS wanting to be the husband just so he could get all the love this time since prior to Chilbong, he's always played such jerky characters (It's okay puppy, we love you!)

But seriously, I love Hai Tai and all, but I don't think I can handle another bait and switch. I hate that we only get vague glimpses into Trash's mind and even then, they're mere assumptions and anything but concrete. OTOH, Chilbong is such an open book that I am far too invested in his story and if his only purpose is to serve the Trash/Na Jeong storyline then you can't blame me if I feel like I'm being emotionally manipulated. Adding Hai Tai as another contender halfway into this game is just going to mess me up even more LOL But I still love you Hai Tai!

I'm not really on one team or another. It shifts depending on the episode. Right now I'm for Chilbong but ultimately I love all the characters and they're all clearly happy in the future with how things ended up which is what I root for. Everyone X Happiness = OTP!
I learned this was going to be 20eps though and I'm really not here for that. With some episodes going over 1h30 20eps is too much. Especially if they want to keep confusing the viewers.
