1. Actor B, who is at the height of his career right now, has reportedly caught the celebrity disease. B was a star in a very popular drama recently and has been rising as a bluechip in the CF world thanks to the love of his fans. The problem lies in his difference in attitude. Usually known for his refreshing personality, he's maintained a positive relationship with broadcasting officials until he recently threw a fit in while at a private recording for a music program. He had asked if the show could go out of their way to make it public specifically for him, which producers could not comply with. In the end, he threw a fit with them.

Go Young Wook accused of assaulting a minor again

It seem Go Young Wook sn’t out of the clear yet as another minor has come forth with accusations of sexual assault against the forme Roo’ra ember.

Channel A eported on the 3rd, ldquo;Go Young Wook, who is under investigation for sexually assaulting a minor, is being investigated by the police again following a report of sexual assault by another minor.”

Female ‘A’ (13) who claims to have been sexually assaulted by Go Young Wook, claimed that the singer dragged her to his car in Hongeundong where he initiated sexual contact not too long ago on December 1st.

Th Seoul Seodaemun Police Station tated “We confirmed the relationship of female ‘A’ and began our investigation. We reviewed a CCTV from the location of the alleged crime and completed our analysis.”

Meanwhile, Go Young Wook is currently in denial of this new accusation.

Go Young Wook was previousl investigated under suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor ack in May and late admitted to having sexual relations ith the victim.

GLAM have been giving Girls' Generation a run for their money with their new single, "I Like That", which is rising up on music charts.

On the 2nd, GLAM's "I Like That" trailed behind Girls' Generation in the #3 spot on Bugs music chart.

"I Like That" modernizes the '90s K-pop classic, Chul-E & Miae's "Why You", with its hip-hop sound. Fans especially noticed how both GLAM and Girls' Generation have made impressive comebacks with more charismatic concepts.

In other news, GLAM started off their round of comeback stages on 'M!Countdown' on the 3rd.

Lee Ha Yi seems cool

The praises and cheers from the audience (general public) for Lee Hi comes as fast as it goes, and 17 year old Lee Hi knows very well about the general public tastes. Thus, she is welcoming 2013 even much more than anybody else.

After obtaining 2nd position in last year’s Kpop Star, Lee Hi has proceeded to sign on with YG Entertainment and released her first single ‘1,2,3,4’ during the last few months of 2012 and the single proceeded to sweep all chart rankings in Korea.

As the person being selected for “Most highly anticipated rookie in year 2013”, Lee Hi has already realized the amount of stress being placed on her, and she has felt it too.

Lee Hi will be releasing her debut album in February and she is now always in the studio practicing furiously.

Just recently, our reporter has conducted an interview with her in YG building.

Due to Stardom Entertainment bringing attention to content which is different from the truth through a press release on 2013. 1. 4, we are distributing a press release that contains the official position of the 7 members of Block B. Block B sues Stardom, asks for exclusive contract to be nullified

It has suddenly been reported that Block B has filed a suit against their agency to ask for their exclusive contract to be nullified.

According to the media outlets that reported this, the Block B members have filed against Stardom at the Seoul Central District Court, stating, “During the signing of the exclusive contract, it was promised that in addition to providing proper training opportunity and facilities, we would be paid on every 25th of the following month… However, the agency has not paid us for nearly one year since April of 2011.”(it’s not clear whether it is 2011 or 2012 since the quote in the article states that it is nearly a year, but April of 2011 would be well over a year).

“It started last year in March when one member’s contract was ended and his portion of the pay was calculated… Appearance fees from events as well as pay from SBS drama ‘Phantom’s OST, MBC drama ‘Golden Time’ OST, and funds collected from the inaguration of our Japanese fan site’s fan club, and more for a total of 10 things, have been omitted.”

They also added, “The CEO of the agency, Mr. Lee, has also disappeared with the 70,000,000 KRW (~66,000 USD) that he collected from the members’ parents to use for promotion and production costs… He never listened to the members opinions or thoughts on their activities and directed only in his way.”

So far, there has been no word from the agency about this matter, so stay tuned for updates

[Interview] Yang Hyun-suk, CEO of YG Entertainment - Part. 1

PSY recorded number 2 on the Billboard singles chart and G-Dragon was at the forefront of the K-pop music scene this year. For the past few months, YG Entertainment has been at the center of the Korean music scene. The total value of YG stocks rose to 1,000 billion won [approximately 938 million U.S. dollars] and is still well over 634 billion won.

However, Yang Hyun-suk, CEO of YG Entertainment, still stays up all night, mixing audio for the albums of YG artists. Even as a CEO, he says he wants to keep on working as a producer, discussing music with artists and producing their music. That part of his job, he says, is as important, nay, more important than the business side of the whole of YG Entertainment.

While every single aspect related to the firm is geared toward producing high-quality work, Yang says YG's output is produced according to the company's "absolute standard," something akin to "telling right from wrong." As he stressed this point, we felt that Yang is more like a perfectionist artisan, not an entrepreneur who heads one of the biggest firms in K-pop.

Q PSY's "Gangnam Style" was a phenomenal international success. A lot must be going through your mind these days.
Yang: I have always dreamed of being the best in the world because I believe in dreaming big. No one can predict who will follow in PSY's footsteps but I have this hope that the next person may be from YG. I also think a tenth of PSY die-hard fans across the world may become interested in other YG musicians. Big Bang drew in a total of 700,000 people to their 2012 world tour concerts. YG is already powerful in Asia although not quite yet in the U.S. and Europe. Both Big Bang and 2NE1 had world tours for the first time this year. I'm sure they'll do better tours after this year.

It looks like fans of the Oh Yeon Seo-Lee Joon couple on ‘We Got Married‘ can breathe a sigh of relief.

Oh Yeon Seo’s camp has once again denied that the actress is dating her ‘Oh Ja Ryong is Coming‘ co-star Lee Jang Woo on the January 4th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay‘.

On the show, the agency stated through a phone call, “The two are not dating. They’re a sunbae and hoobae of the same university, and they became close while filming the drama. There is no possibility that the relationship will develop into something more than a friendship in the future.”

On the other hand, Lee Jang Woo’s agency has remained silent on the issue.

f(x)'s princesses Krystal & Sulli to join SHINee as models for ETUDE

f(x)‘s Krystal and Sulli will be joining SHINee to endorse the cosmetic brand ‘Etude House‘.

In 2012, the brand was endorsed by SHINee and 2NE1‘ Dara. However, it appears Dara has stepped down from the endorsement and handed the baton over to Krystal and Sulli.

Through a video posted on YouTube, the two girls were introduced by SHINee, and then came out to express their thoughts on becoming the new models. As Etude House goes for a cute, girly image, Krystal and Sulli matches perfectly with the brand. SHINee has also gained much love for the being the face of the brand, and many are looking forward to another year with them.

B.A.P‘s Youngjae recently showed off his muscular build during the New Year’s Eve broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Shindong’s Shimshimtapa‘

Youngjae was seen wearing a white fur vest that exposed his muscular arms, leaving fans with no other choice than to change his nickname from “baby face” to “bagel guy”.

Fans commented, “It seems Youngjae lost his baby fat”, “Youngjae is a ‘bagel guy’ now”, “Youngjae changed so much”, and more.

Looks like a fe YG embers took a vacation recently and stayed at -Dragon’s pension!

On January 2 Taeyang pdated his twitter with the message, “At G-Dragon’s place. Dolce Vita with Daesung” and included a photo.

The picture reveals a great scenery with mountains in the back and fresh snow on the bottom. One can imagine all the snow fights the boys had after taking a perfect selca Daesung’s hair adds a welcome color to the mostly black and white picture.

2Yoon to challenge country pop for debut

4Minute’s new sub-unit, comprised of members Jiyoon and Gayoon joined forces with hitmakers Shinsadong Tiger, composer Kim Doo Hoon and songwriter Lee Sang Ho for their title track.

Rather than sticking to popular music, Gayoon and Jiyoon took on a new challenge for their debut under a new name, 2Yoon.

Country pop, a genre which hasn’t been tried out before and which will bring a fresh change to a Korean music scene dominated by addictive and generic tunes.

This trio of producers has been behind a number of hit tracks by 4Minute, such as “Hot Issue,” “For Muzik,” “Muzik, “Mirror Mirror,” and more recently “Volume Up” and “Love Tension.”

Yesterday, Cube Entertainment’s CEO stated that the upcoming 4Minute sub-unit would be called “2Yoon.”

A few weeks ago, pictures showing Gayoon and Jiyoon in the midst of a filming session surrounded by a farm set decor surfaced on Naver. Jiyoon then teased fans a bit more by tweeting a picture from that same set.

Meanwhile, 2Yoon are speculated to debut on the second week of January.

1. A sasaeng fan asked Taemin as a joke if he had any water because she was thirsty and Taemin went back into the dorm and got her a bottle of water.

2. Kim Hyun Joong refusing fan gifts is already famous among fans of other artists as well. A fan still tried to gift him a necktie but he asked her if she ever bought something like this for her father and told her to give it to him instead.

3. Shinhwa was the troublemakers of SM. No matter how much Lee Soo Man tried to get them to rehearse, they'd just gather and read comic books or play on their cellphones all day. When it was about time for Lee Soo Man to come and check up on them, they'd spray water on themselves and pretend as if they rehearsed really hard all day. Lee Soo Man would eventually find out and get really mad at them, threatening them to leave the company if they're going to continue behaving like this. Other groups would've been scared and begged for another chance but Shinhwa started packing their bags, forcing Lee Soo Man to hold them back, saying he was joking ㅋㅋ

4. When Yoseob was a child, he got lost in the mountains on his own because he went up there to catch a Pikachu.

5. Back when Jay Park was still with 2PM and 2PM wasn't that well known of a group yet, the two were on an elevator together with other people that didn't seem to recognize them. Jay said really loudly, "Taecyeon!!!! When's our next schedule?????" and Taecyeon answered back in an equally loud voice, "I don't know, we should ask our manager!!!!"
